  1. it's kinda good thing since it won't burn the processor, plus it won't suck too much battery life. I think that Centrino should just keep the processor at constant speed instead of letting the user know that it's slowing down... "2.4 GHZ, 2.3 GHZ... sir, we've got a problem, the laptop is slowing down..... :s" - What a colonel would say to the user. xboxrulz
  2. it's all about how Microsoft marketed Windows; therefore, Windows dominated the home and commericial market.xboxrulz
  3. that isn't the processor, that's the motherboard though. In processors you should find the ALU (Algorithmetic Logic Unit)xboxrulz
  4. no, I don't think so, it's much better than the old one and this one sure would stop spamming.xboxrulz
  5. Linux is getting more and more support in games; but the games sometimes have to come out with Windows as a co-OS development. These games include: America's Army, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Enemy Territory Fortress (remake of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory), Unreal Tournament 2004 and Quake 3.xboxrulz
  6. Microsoft's Visual C++, Visual BASIC and all their visual stuff are all event-driven programming. The goal of Microsoft is to ease the programming process by making it like Flash. The catch is that the software that you're making must be built for WINDOWS. This is how their sucking money off you by gaining more programs so others migrate to WINDOWS. Also, Visual BASIC and Visual C++ aren't cheap to buy too! They cost from CAD$200 - CAD$300! (If you need USD, please use this link. Click here) xboxrulz
  7. so, now I only need to type 10 Roman-alphabetical characters in order to gain a post?If so, that's a better idea and it will decrease my brain load while posting. I don't now need to think longer.P.S: I try not spamming. I think Xisto is a great community :PThanks, xboxrulz
  8. I use Azureus because it's for Windows and Linux and vice versa. It's also made w/ Java I like it alot because I can limit the upload speed so I get better download speed. Plus, I will use less bandwidth w/ my 3.0 MBPS. I really need the 5.0 MBPS soon! (Yes, Canada does have 5.0 MBPS dl and 800 KBPS ul for residential internet)xboxrulz
  9. is mobo, bogomips?xboxrulz
  10. the link to your image is down. It leads to 100webhost.xboxrulz
  11. Great links, I'm downloading ETF right now. Thanks!xboxrulz
  12. yes, it is true, IE sucks. There's only 2 functions that I.E serves for me: using Launchcast or any websites that are IE Only!xboxrulz
  13. alperuzi, here's the comparison: Top is Airbus A 380 and bottom is Boeing 747 For a better look here! xboxrulz
  14. I read from the Boeing site, they were going to release a new luxury jet, that may counter the Airbus A380 but to me it seems they are on different markets. One is for luxury, the other one is for commercial and economy styled. I don't think it's going to compete with the Airbus A380 that well...xboxrulz
  15. Open source software or GNU software are always being patched, even you can patch it up for yourself if you want.I love open source software, it feels more like a communityware than corporateware. xboxrulz
  16. Linux is good for servers, office workstations (as in you are not playing games on it, both for home or office work), multimedia station, XBOX consoles, network stations and whatever computer use you can think of except gaming since there's not much support yet.xboxrulz
  17. the reason why medicine from Canada is cheaper is because our government pays parts of it. Plus, in Ontario; we get free health care :Pxboxrulz
  18. ummm... that's stealing. I don't think everyone wants to steal right?Am I right? or am I wrong? Still I always use GNU/GPL software anyways, so usually it's free of charge :PxboxrulzJOIN THE LINUX REVOLUTION!
  19. pretty good specifications! I have a few questions? what's a mobo? If you are getting so much good stuff why not get a 120 GB HDD instead. I also recommend using Maxtor hard drives. You should get ATI because of graphics unless you hate configurating your own graphic card then go for NVIDIA. Please also note that you need Windows XP 64-bit in order to run it on this machine. If not, get Linux. Fedora core has a 64-bit version!I hope this helps :Pxboxrulz
  20. that's practically what I said..... but, pearl scripts actually work outside of the cgi-bin. I used to have scripts outside of cgi-bin that were pearl. Note: LINUX comes with perl because most graphical and function requires pearl.xboxrulz
  21. The new PS2 is just a quick way for Sony to earn a bit more money. It doesn't give any difference in performance. So, there's no need to get the new one unless your old one breaks down. Heck, I don't even have PS2, I have XBOX.xboxrulz
  22. not getting it until real improvements on technology like a more "real" 3D graphic engine capability and etc.XBOX2 isn't really what I'm looking for currently. I'd stick to my original XBOX for now.xboxrulz
  23. cool, photos, but I don't think it is real. It's because it looks like AUTOCAD ! Also, I wonder where they get the sources because the specifications are different from what I read from the Official XBOX Magazine. I believe the magazine than these three photos. Also, there are no official announcements saying that Microsoft is making XBOX 2 yet. If there was, I could have read it already. Everything is a speculation.xboxrulz
  24. XBOX2 (codename XENON) is suppose to be powered by an IBM G5 processor and with ATI graphic card. It features a sixty gigabyte hard disc drive. It also includes the capability for XNA. It is also ready for XBOX Live!'s new version with messenger capability :SSOURCES: Official XBOX MagazineI seriously think that they shouldn't release a new XBOX yet because they're releasing things too fast!xboxrulz
  25. I think 300 characters are a bit too much :S. Maybe, you can try 150 - 200 characters. The system is kinda buggy I guess because I have already posted 5 posts by now.xboxrulz
