This is being pessimistic. With every uphill journey there will be a downward descend. It was not only for Rome but for all great civilizations. The difference is the speed at which the descend took place. I think that the descend is directly related with the technology at hand and how much the technology is dreadful or nice.Take for the example of supersonic planes, they are a boost to the commerce and aviation and has greatly enhanced the mobility, but if utilized as destroyer carrier will bring the end of the world in few minutes after an unmanned nuclear bombing. Though the speed at which the development that can be done is improved by the supersonic planes so is its capability to help destruction. The nuclear bombs also help create electrical energy and are a lifeline to the modern world but if left loose and exposed can wipe out the entire living kingdom on earth. These technology was not there during Roman times so they descended slowly with riots, commotion, corruption and betrayal as the cause in general. The cause that the large territory was difficult to handle and the tax collection was necessity based and poor funding of the conquered territory lead to the downfall. The same thing happens in the case of the current world and there are cases of Russia dividing and countries unable to control states and mis control going on. States unable to generate enough fund for self sustainence and look to the central government to help. Also the ethics and culture of the people in most countries are deteriorating fast.It is unpredictable how fast the civilization of today will descent but it will happen pretty fast of course.

I have not seen a supersonic plane but the stories about these planes being used in military is often shown in the National Geographic channel. These are the technologies that are tested in the defense system and are in the rise. Some such planes are in the commercial lines as well but time will soon make the commercially available for all fliers.

This has happened to me quite a few times now, but the commonest is with my mobile. My laptop was HP/ Compaq nx6120 and I loved that too much as it was my father's gift, first laptop from him. I had a nice time keeping it nice and clean and taking good care that it did not get scratched or dirty. One night I was so dizzy that I decided to get some water for me from the kitchen. I got a glass and filled it full and reached for my table. I kept the glass on the table and it toppled. I kept the glass over my paper weight and it toppled. The spilled water went running through the table and some got into the keyboard of the laptop. It was not much water that went into the laptop so I got my towel and wiped it clean. My laptop did not show any signs of problem and I kept on using it for about an year. Then again it happened and this time my laptop was actually damaged. My cousin sister was in my place and is hell of a problem. She is too busy with herself and will do anything to get what she wants. She got a bad habit of dropping things down from her hand without any reason. And what happened was that she came to my study with a cup of milk and before I could understand poured the full cup of milk on my running laptop. I was stunned and without thoughts shocked for a moment. Immediately realizing what has happened I switched off my laptop and removed the battery, but it was too late. Something that I got to know from the laptop repair guy was that the milk that has seeped in had gone into the DVD drive and the head was spoiled. Also the motherboard is covered with dried up milk and is to be cleaned, later being declares as damaged. It was a great loss for me.The worst happened when I realized that my mobile was missing. After she spilled the milk she grabbed my mobile and dropped the cup on my table and ran. I was too busy with my laptop that I overlooked what she took with her. About fifteen minutes later when I wanted to call my friend Natasha about what can be done with the laptop I realized that the mobile was missing. By that time the thing that happened was unimaginable. My cousin took my mobile phone and went to the loo. In there she probably smashed the mobile a few times in the wall or floor and then it got wet. There was no bucket nor any water stored in he toilet but the mobile later recovered was wet enough, but most worrying was the damaged cover and screen. I kept the phone for drying and after it got dried I switched it on only to find that the display was damaged and was showing thick horizontal lines with unclear text showing.I do not want to recollect those days but I think I am feeling a bit better by venting my anger out in this manner typing it out. I could not hit her with a blow but I was to sad and cried a lot. I however am glad that after so much loss my father gave me a better laptop now and this time I am a bit more careful with it.

This is nothing to be strange about as we already know about sperm banks and baby naval deposits. These are techniques followed by ancestors to store remains of the dead or living fossilized in snow. These fossilized remains would last for generations and act as a memento to the tribes. Now with the advent of science and civilization advancing so fast, it is a common practice to keep the dead in the chilled morgue to prevent decay. There are instances in the history where the solders are mummified and kept on the museums for display. You have a choice to see the monkey brain but indeed there are human dead brains that are kept for medical studies for decades to see the effect of cold freezing ice. Medical science also tries to analyze the evolution process being affected by climate including icy cold.

Do You Believe In Online Dating Sites?
buxgoddess replied to asomormridul's topic in Dating And Relationships
There are sayings of much ado about nothing. Online dating sites are nothing but a collection of pseudo-ominous people depressed with deprivation looking for a flirtation escapade. No wonder 90% of the user are fictious and fake. You chat with a boy and in reality is a girl worst a unisex.I have no intentions for registering into such sites nor visit such sites. -
I'm Finally Here! Where else would I wind up?
buxgoddess replied to ghost of delete key's topic in Introductions
It all depends how you entered the phone number. In most cases you might have mistyped your phone number. Or ther is a hyphen missing somewhere. In one of the sites about market survey the hyphen position was wrong and I had a great deal of trouble to deal with before I could prove my genuinity. There is no other way but to get in touch with the admin and resolve the matter.Mods, you may close the topic after the problem gets solved after giving a glimpse of what the solution was. -
No, it is hard for me to believe that I am still alive and living. Running video in a paper print/ magazine, never imagined that I will see that in my lifetime.Technology is going wacky with now and then developments that we hear in the fairytale stories of our grandmother or in science fictions. Are there a world where you do nothing but just imagine and the same happens in reality. "I am GOD" is what the result that can be. But I have no regrets for the people who will miss such an invention nor for those who missed these ones as they will see it for real in Heaven where you get all that you want. And as for the technology of motion pictures in the magazine, it is a great concept that will be practical now. Another material that will soon be available is reuse of the same paper for daily news. The newspaper say consists of 40 pages divided into various sections and page ranges. All this technology will do is feed the news as if in real paper into the technology paper exactly per page of that day. You just open the corresponding page and the news of that day in that paper is available. The technology will save millions of rolls of newsprint daily and save the environment as well. And hail Rowling for the concept.

Referal Competition should we have one or not??
buxgoddess replied to mobileunlocking's topic in General Discussion
A stupid idea , as far the PTC site performance is concerned, you will end up losing the focus.Have quality post and keep earning. Once you earn just choose a package and pay. No nonsense at all. With referral system you get referrals and then therse referrals die out and join as a separate id making too many inactive users and too bad for the site Xisto. -
There is another site atrochatro.com that does the same for sms in India. However there are some limit to that as well.

Please quote the specifications. This is a open chice as I think that you may have choice as what your budget and what your requirements are. If you can afford then you can buy a fance set else you settle for a cheap deal. No doubt here in India Nokia is the best followed by Samsung.

This is a war as far as the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is concerned brought to the telecom operators. The service providers are now running post to pillar to get a plan that fits the subscriber pocket and at the same time does not hurt the business. Come to SMS and TATA DOCOMO has come up with plans that will make you pay for first 2 sms daily and all the rest sms are free. And believe it or not the first 2 sms will cost you just Rs 1.20. The normal sms rates were Rs 1.00 for outside circle and Rs 0.40 for local sms. So it is just 3 sms cost daily and the rest is just free. You save unlimited as far as that day is concerned.Things are getting worse withe the fact that you spend Rs 0.01 per second and it takes just 5 seconds to tell where you are or how long it will teke you to reach as compared to atleast Rs 0.90 per call earlier. And with the introduction of more than six operators per circle things look to bad for the operators. If things go this way then a time will come when rivals will end up creating unhealthy environment. But the bottom-line as of now is that now even the rag pickers can afford to carry a working mobile number as long as he gets access to a mobile set.

Can you throw some light on the status of countries like India and China. When these countries are not qualified for the final event what do they do. Is there some sort of tournaments among themselves to improve the quality of game in their own standard.I once remember in my childhood that Germany visited India and quashed India 11-0 loss. A pathetic site where the Indians looked like domestic cats who fear water as compared to panthers of Germany.

There seems to be more of a nuisance going on with the 9/11 incident. With reports coming that Bin Laden is still alive in the Pesawar district of Pakistan and is still making plans, it seems a bit ridiculous to believe that a mastermind like Laden will take a decade to plan another attack. I definitely doubt the intelligence system of any country for that matter to be intelligent enough to figure out what the terrorists are planning behind closed doors. The stories that the intelligence was able to trace the plan and get to action by avoiding the damage or attack is a bull *BLEEP*. I can guarantee that out of 100 plans such made not even two gets to the intelligence branch. If you compare the number of attacks hat have been occurring in countries like Iraq after the Gulf war, Pakistan after the Afgan war and India with the ongoing war with Pakistani ISI military, you will bet and agree that the intelligence system is a farce and is just wasting the national resource and money. Whenever a terror attack fails the credit goes to the intelligence bureau bur 90 percent of attacks go undetected until the damage is done. The 9/11 was an intelligence failure no doubt about that but then there are reports and evidence that the attack was not only by air but also on the ground where adequate measures were taken months before to amplify the attack. The presence of excess people on the twin tower that day also indicates that there were plans made to bring in more people into the towers

If humans are animals then I do have a few deadly animals who live in my backyards. One of them is a housewife and mother of two, whose husband ditched her of her bad character. A deadly quarrelsome for no reasons on earth. The worst that was seen was a few months ago she tore off her top clothes in front of her family members and strangers to show how mush she was hurt when the motorbike hit her a few minutes back. The resultant that she attacked the biker so badly with half naked body was a sign of plight for many. Such an animal instinct with no shame of the self and family. You can't even declare her mad as mad people are much better and predictable. Even if you talk well to her she ends up creating a fuss.

GTA: Vice City -- I'm Stuck In Mission "ShakeDown" help me
buxgoddess replied to DjLuki's topic in Computer Gaming
Same place you have got to be stuck. Either you are using the ripped version or the 2 cd version with crack. I too got stuck in that and had to spend about 6 days and played the stage over a hundred time until I decided that it is impossible and rested for two days and after that, Bingo! I crossed the race as a pro.Once this level was OK everything was just fine and I finished the game in a go.Then was the time for ripped San Andreas.A few months ago while going through my CD collection I found that my second CD had some damage on surface coating and hence I am no longer able to load the game. Actually I am not too keen to play it all over again. It is that SA is exciting and great. GTA IV is however not my cup of tea as my RIG does not come up to the requirements and is not running at all. This is the biggest disappointment for me from the GTA series. The level you are talking about is won not by racing but by chance. This is what I have understood from the game. And of-course your wanted level goes high just as you go high seeing your school teacher. -
I have seen and used phpBB3 myself and feel that it is the best. SMF is good for novice and for the ones who are happy with the bare minimum, but for the pro its always compared ahead for phpBB3.Since both are free they have their limitations ofcourse. But with the paid ones you get more than what you expect and is a hell of a difference.

I think there might be the problem of synchronization in Xp. Also I have posted here to subscribe to the thread for any future replies that may come on its way. I think I had a problem similar to this and was using dual boot of Windows XP and Mandrake 10. But I reinstalled both OS immediately. The CMOS battery needs to be checked for its functionality. Is there a software that detects the life or charge in the CMOS battery?

Excellent Computer Related Practical Jokes....
buxgoddess replied to KansukeKojima's topic in General Discussion
I had this prank done when the desktop got inverted and my friend had no clue as to what to do. All I did was to create a macro to run the command as scheduled times, preferable when he would be busy doing his project work.First of all get a macro creator program and record the steps to invert the screen (or any other prank). schedule the prank in any suitable time and wait for the fun to begin. -
Thanks, as this is a nicely compiled post. Almost all your queries get solved in the readme and forum rules. For getting into hosting site just go on posting some quality posts and register with the same email id in xistro billing as mentioned earlier. Bingo you start earning myCents and dollars which you can use to buy domain and server space as per plan.Xisto is great as far as the servers are concerned and the features they provide, so no more looking back and get a domain for yourself, very cheap and nice.

Which Bulletin Board System Is Best For You? e.g..,IPB,phpBB,punbb
buxgoddess replied to badinfluence's topic in Software
IPB is by far the best and I have been using it for quite some time now. And as said the paid version is really the one you should go for. There are some tweaking that you may need and the support that you get from the paid service is excellent. The thing about IPB that I noticed first was while I used it as dummy using a nulled copy. Though the nulled copy was full fledged but with absolutely no support it was a bit difficult to intrgreate with the portal. Others likr phpBB3 are good but then are a bit slow. I now use a paid version of IPB and get regular updates aswell. -
Hosting Issue My domain name is kinda messed up
buxgoddess replied to .:Piper_2051:.'s topic in Web Hosting Support
As for what I know if your domain is already registered then you own it for one year and Xisto payed on your behalf to register the domain. Now if you want a new domain other than this which is given then go ahead and collect some myCents and apply again. If however there was some mistake from the Xisto team and you did not make any typo mistake then you may post a support ticket and also contact the forum moderators for the change and or suggestion I think it will be fair to collect myCents and the reapply a fresh one without going into a debate or arguments. The reason is simple because you are not spending a single penny for the site anyway except that you are sending some time and sharing some valuable information to the whole of the world. So start posting some really good posts and move afresh.
