Can Someone Suggest Me A Good Wordpress Theme?
buxgoddess replied to The Simpleton's topic in General Discussion
try wp-max and its a good one. Hope you can tweek it for your purpose. I have my temporary blog workinhg in this theme at mdnath.com/press and is absolutely fantastic. There are some issues hoever that you will have to check your site every now and then to see any post that is out of sync. It is tedipoius at times. -
I heard of reincarnation and sort. But for someone to come and say re-introduction is unusual. This pulled my attension because I have seen people posting new threads that they wish to monitor themselves or start something like a chat. Now I see someone who wants to play safe and start a new topic. This was a good ploy in the other forum Xisto until many users started to get warning for unnecessary new posts.I have a peculiar feeling that just to float their names people make absurd posts that they are really not interested in to at all. Only after a few replies the posts get no response and dies.I was warned to reply to a post that was dated 2004 about 4 years old, when I replied to one of my friends query in this forum. What a fate - got warned for posting in a too old post.

This is pretty nice one . I think you may add a few sparkling stars somewhere more to attractiveness of the picture. Afterall its your talent showcase and there is no limit to the imagination and choice that you can create. Nevertheless you must concentrate on your originality, which I think you are lacking as the picture resemble me to a common thin in our culture here and I think it is a borrowed idea, so go ahead with the idea but maintain your originality.

I have seen a lot of sites come up the other day and vanish in the thin air a few days later, most oof the times the site being banned or suspended for non payment. Imagine a site which pops up and vanishes because it is not able to pay the web site fees - a few dollars, how will it pay a wooping amount of dues that it accumulates from the registered users? Nope, it will never be able to pay.So stay clear about these sites and be motivated that it will never work as a legitimate paying model.

Norton Antivirus Vs Nod 32 Software
buxgoddess replied to dino-m's topic in Security issues & Exploits
I used to be a die hard fan of Norton Antivirus after my first pc crash in during my college days. I was having a P II machine then with a new 540 MB hard disk and my pc got infected with a virus I still don't know what, but it was a virus for sure, which left me high and dry with almost one month's project work lost. Norton did protect me in the rest of the days of my project and then upto more than six years later. In 2006 I started using other antivirus programs, most of which were pirated or coppied ones, untill I settled for Nod32 about a year and a half age. After which it is Nod32 and nothing else. The reason was for the new OS Vista Nod32 came as an early entrant and was wonderfully lite on the machine that I own today. Now with Wndows 7 I am still using Nod32 coz it is lite and is awfully fast and as for Norton it has turned out to be a big resource hogger. The same thing is happening with Nero, a vastly popular and handy C/DVD burning software is turning out to be too heavy on machines, and now much better and elaborate techniques with better performane is available many free of cost, better than Nero a few times in performance.I think Nod32 is much better than Norton Antivirus. Not to leave far behind is Kaspersky being a good virus derector and cleaner. -
This is strange for me to answer as I know that the real hell is not in Siberia but in our own minds ad the place that we live in. Every day we do things that we should not have done and find our-self doing the wrong again. The story of 8 feet long worms that lived and died near fire, metaphorically equivalent to the ocean vents are real.

Thunderstorm are formed when moist unstable air is lifted up into the atmosphere causing condensation and release of latent heat. The process of lifting up moist air is caused by either unequal warming of surface of the Earth or topographic obstruction of air flow or through dynamic lifting because of the presence of a frontal zone. When the air lifts up, the rising air begins to cool and reaches the dew point resulting in condensation and the formation of cumulus cloud. The whole process takes place in an unstable atmosphere. At the height of about 20 km above the Earth's surface the severe weather associated with some of these clouds includes hail, strong winds, thunder, lightning, intense rain and tornados. There are two type of common types of thunderstorms. Air mass thunderstorms which occur in the mid-latitudes in summer and an equator all year long and thunderstorms associated with the mid-latitude cyclone cold fronts and dry lines. The second one has most severe weather assisted with it. However the most common type of thunderstorms is the air mass storm.

In addition to that the USB now can be used as a RAM in addition to actual RAM. Starting from Vista and in Windows 7 External USB drives or so called pen drives are now capable of being used as additional RAM. The total disk size will become a RAM substitute. Now with the large size uSB available you can have large ammount of RAM much easily withpout much problem. The use of USB as external drive is an old concept now and is being used as an installation drive as well. Installation of Small Linux and Windows Live is esily done as a secondary booting system and as a separate operating system.

If you get stuck with CMOS password not working, then you may get the password reseted by removing the CMOS battery and swithing ON your PC after 10 minutes. There are two ways to force the CMOS to be reset to its default values. Firstly, mechanically by removing all power to the CMOS thereby forcing it to reset itself to its stored defaults, which include password or the default password employed by the Bios manufacturer, and secondly, using a program to either locate and identify the password and reveal it to you or erasing the password entirely. These are referred to as password by-pass utilities or cracks. To mechanically remove the password we need to follow these steps. Most motherboards manufactured use a battery to sustain the dynamic CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. These dynamic settings are those manually set by either the computers manufacturer or us, the user. There are two ways to erase these dynamic settings, by either resetting a jumper on the motherboard itself, referred to as a clear CMOS jumper, or by physically remove the power from the computer, disconnecting the power plug and then removing a battery, used to maintain power to the PROM chip that contains the CMOS information from the motherboard. Some motherboard manufacturers provide a set of three jumpers on their motherboards that provide us with the ability to clear the CMOS settings, thereby allowing them to be reset. For the most part this is used when the CMOS data becomes scrambled and we need to clear the CMOS in order to return the computer to a functional state. This same procedure, however, can be used to clear passwords from the CMOS setup. Typically a jumper will be found across pins 1 and 2 as the default position, and by shutting the computer down, unplugging the power cord and then moving the jumper so that it is across pins 2 and 3 will clear the CMOS settings. I hope these steps are going to be very helpful to everyone.

Wat Is Advangage Of Vbulletin Over Free Scripts
buxgoddess replied to ashutosh_malguri's topic in General Discussion
First of all please do not shout with such huge fonts. We are not blind nor are we moron like your case. Now coming to vBulletin. It is the best forum script that is available. A few years back it was available to the common , now it is not, because it has grown enough market popularity and is s strong robust forum script. As far as phpbb3 is cocerned it is a good one but not as much as vBulletin is. The use of vB will greatly enhance the forum features, but the choice of skin is a big issue that needs to be addressed to. The support for vB is also great and the time taken to customize is also considerably much less. -
Open Question To Disbelievers Of Evolution
buxgoddess replied to kobra500's topic in Health & Fitness
I think that the matter is a thing that humans will always ponder on. Simply because if after so many years we are not yet sure if we evolved from apes and if wolves are from other species, not related to humans. And yes, humans are ignorant and will always be. Thanks to the evolution. -
Could You Forget Your First Love? can you forget
buxgoddess replied to m107's topic in General Discussion
There is a novel My First Love, read that. I remember the first time I fell in loveTo the man that possessed my heartEvery each moment was full of laughter’sEmbedded with good memories.First love indeed never diesThough its gone but the love is still aliveNo matter what happens it keeps coming backMaybe it was called first and true love.Wherever you are now my loveI know you are in the right handPeace and happiness is in heavenI’ll see you when the right time comes.By buxgoddess -
My openion is that it is not God who will destroy the world but the humans who in their blinded lives will destroy the world. Look at the way industrialization is destroying the environment, the climate change, destruction of natural resources and above all loss of culture and hatered among mankind. There will be a time when men will kill morons. But before that men will start to become morons. The time is coming soon.

Open Question To Disbelievers Of Evolution
buxgoddess replied to kobra500's topic in Health & Fitness
Darwin was right in his theory and so was Jesus. Why did I say was Jesus is because Jesus is as true as the faity tale stories are. And as far as evolution is concerned, just ask your father to proove that his great grand father was a man. He will not be able to prove that except that he will show you an old picture of an old man and claim to be his great grandfather. Thats all. You never know who your ancestors wre or where from you evolved because neither any mortal human will ever see it nor will he be able to frrove it, only debate and justify assumptions. Thats all.So where is the question at all? Better not ask such questions which we know for ourselves. And yes, if we are so confused as to what we believe in then good luck that there are these people to confuse you further.Darwin said men evolved from apes and by asking questions like this we are showing how close we are to apes.NB: Please do not take this personally as I hate the concept of evolution, as no one ever evolved better shunning bad habits. -
I was watching a movie yesterday and just remembered the dialogue - I'll tear off your Black Hole. If that was true and it meant for a girl, then the Black Hole is a part of the feminine side of the universe. Black Hole is a subject that has been an enigma to the scientists and they are yet to identify what actually causes it. There were a couple of programs in National Geographic which enlightened on Black Holes. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

What Country To Do You Live In, And Rate It.
buxgoddess replied to Fu Still Better's topic in General Discussion
It did not surprise me to find that a few people ou t here actually gave their nation a 0/10. It is obvious that this is likely to hapen given the fact that the saying goes - grass on the other side of the river is always greener.Lets assume that the condition in the country is pethatic, be it culturally, politically, civil amnities, etc, etc. Now, how many of them actually came out of their stupid boxes to practically go and find a solution to these problems. It is not always money or people that is needed to get the feel good factor increase. Its the inner motivation and the involvement to do sometthing good for the society, that is most missing item resulting in 0/10. This could otherwise be 10/10. One of the person from Pakustan said 8/10 for the country he belongs and 10/10 for USA. Reason - he is a muslim and believes that the mayor and the police in his country are Terro rists. Very strange. -
The last thing that I was watching today on TV was the programming on local News telecast that there's a big bandh (strike) being called by the opposition party because of the attacks on the MLAs who went to distribute relief material in the Malda district. The incident took place somewhere in the morning when the villagers attacked the MLA's visiting there. Two other political leaders were injured and five other journalists received blows. Three of those journalists are seriously injured. All of the seven are in the hospital. Though the information of the visit of the MLAs were given to the police much in advance, no policemen where there on duty to protect from any unwanted circumstances. It is being said that the ruling party cadre were involved in this incident. The news spread like fire and in the evening there were massive rallies in the streets of the city. The strike was also supported by the student Federation resulting in total transport deadlock. All traffic throughout the city was blocked and the keys from the vehicles removed so that buses cannot move/ ply. Although in the incident no one was killed, the amount of uproar that is seen in the streets is tremendous. A few buses were burnt down and many other rampaged after the passengers were forced to evacuate the buses. The police seems to be helpless and are standing like bystanders. So far no arrests are being done fearing further uproar and disruption of law and order. The demand has now gone up and resignation from the Chief Minister is being sought with heavy demonstration. Although no one has taken the responsibility of the incident the opposition believes that this is a mastermind plan of the ruling left party.Tomorrow possibly there is growing to be a total bus strike followed by various demonstrations. The news coverage is what I was looking now before coming to my desk.

I have used Vista during the beta stages and now with service pack 2. There has been very little change that is visible with service pack 1 or 2. The same memory hogging operating system remains the same for me. Also the ammount of programs that runs in Vista did not increase as much to my liking. The fact that windows xp now has service pack 3 and is much more improved in terms of usability for a normal pc. Vista is a system for visually distorted people, because the only thing that apeals for me in Vista is its looks. But now that can be acheived, at least 60 to 70 % in xp using various third party addons and themes. However there are these security vulnerability, that vista is yet to solve. No matter how much vista promisses there are these problems where you need to feed a lot to get any output from vista.

Increase - Virtual Ram - To Make Your System Faster!
buxgoddess replied to Ash-Bash's topic in General Discussion
There is an interesting point raised in this particular thread and that being the use of USB drive as ram in Windows Vista. this is a special feature that you have in Windows Vista that you can use external USB drives or pen drive as Virtual RAM. I used to have an 8 GB pen drive and used it as external RAM. This is a great way to enhance your computer's RAM. this however needs that your pen drive must be completely free and there should be no external data. The first post which deals about increasing your virtual RAM from within your computer hard disk is not bad either. However it may not be as fast as your USB RAM. If you're using Windows XP you cannot use a USB RAM and therefore extending your virtual RAM from your hard disk is a good option. Most of the time it helps because you have more dedicated space to upload running programme though it may not be as fast as actual ram. However one very important thing that is to be noted is that your hard disk must be defragmented. If you do not have a contagious block of memory that you want to use as your virtual RAM in your hard disk you may not get any benefit at all and even might slow down your programs drastically. You also need enough hard disc space free so that every time your virtual RAM is loaded is not split into multiple parts and/or fragmented. -
I used to be a great fan of torrents and would regularly upload and download using torrents. But gradually I shifted down to rapid share. Initially I was not very happy with download sites like rapid share because it was very difficult to download multi-part files. You need to keep track of every file and wait for a certain period of time before you can download the next. For example you download a 50 MB file and to download the next part of it you need to wait for more than 15 minutes. And that too the speed would never increase beyond 30 kbps. It would really be tedious if you wanted to download multiple part files. The maximum file size that can be uploaded and downloaded was 200 MB, but it was reduced to 100 MB later on. Life became more difficult. So I shifted to torrents and downward most of my files from sites like Mininova. But there was always a problem, when there are no seeds and lechers you were just hung and you cannot download. To add to the worries if the seeds and the lechers were slow, it would take years to complete a file download. Then came this download programmes that kept track of the files downloaded from sites like rapid share and megaupload. Soon the whole scenario changed and I just kept on adding into that special programme all my links that I wanted to download and any amount of delay I did not bother to restart because it does it automatically. Some of these download programmes were so good that they would check the files before it downloaded them. After downloading they would even check using anti-virus program if the files are correct and free from any viruses. You need not even monitor where the files are being downloaded because they would automatically be downloaded according to the type of the file. The rules however you can be set on your own. These days only if the files are too large I choose torrents. If the files are smaller I would go for rapid share. Most of my downloads ofcourse these days are using rapidshare. But at the end of the day all it matters is whether the file is available or not be it torrents or Rapidshare.

200 Mongooses Released To Solve Snake Problem Will it work?
buxgoddess replied to velma's topic in General Discussion
There are pest control problems throughout the world. In our part of the country, rats are a big problem. The government has taken initiative many times to prevent losses in the harvest. But every year out of nowhere these rodents would come out and devastate the crops. There are the pest control measures that are being taken throughout multiple sessions but most of them have failed. The first to implement was to give poisoned food to the rodents, it brought to the sales of the grains down because people fear poisoning of the food. The next was introduction of scavenger birds. It failed miserably became the birds flew off to new areas in no time. And with just a few birds left in the whole area the problem never solved. Finally now a particular drive is being introduced in this area where the people are asked and trained how to catch and destroy rodent areas. To some extent this has been fruitful but getting the right area where these rodents are digging in is still a survey to be done. -
Staring Problem Do you do it? how to stop it.
buxgoddess replied to sonesay's topic in General Discussion
I remember in school we used to play the 'Stare Game'. All that was needed was to keep staring without blinking the eyes. It all needed three people to the minimum. Two of us would stare and one would be a judge. I almost lost every time. I get easily distracted by maybe the ear ring, or the bindi, and blink my eyes. One incident which is very memorable for me was when we were playing and our science teacher came in. I was determined not to lose and so I kept on looking straight in the eyes of Natasha. I only realised after some time that my science teacher was also staring at me. The very next moment I took off the eyes and looked at him he asked me to come over to his table. I was sure I will be punished but he had other plans. He asked me to pull in a chair and sit in front of him. Immediately he challenged me for the game. However he said, not more than five minutes in case no one wins. I lost in less than one minute's time. The next thing was, we got to treat from Sir in the canteen for his win. I think it was very daring for me to take up the challenge in the first place. I still not know what his thoughts were about me but I liked him. Not only as a teacher but also as a person. The stare game still continues between our friends and that perticular incident will always be a memorable one for me. Natasha once in a while would tease me and ask what I saw in his eyes that I pulled off so early. I never replied. -
Being a girl it was very difficult for me to participate in sports, more the reason because my parents expected me to do excellent in studies. I am beautiful and therefore it was hard for me to go for sports. It's a normal practice that girls don't play games which require physical exercise. I however played games like Khuckoo. for me it's a hot sport.
