For me too. Really opera's punch line "The worlds fastest browser" applies here too. A very nicebrowser for mobiles. And fastest....The default browser in my Nokia 3230 is worst and very slow.Even though we can't download attachments with this browser, browsing is really excellent in Opera Mini.I can surf internet very fast now. Opera Mini renders the page and displays it as per our mobiles capacity.And its shortcuts are very handy. I agree with you all. Piracy is a great threat, not just for game developers but for all software developers.And these private servers and warez sites are increasing this piracy. It is very difficult to take actionagainst these servers as most of them are hosted in countries where IT law is very weak. This is really bad, but what is really worst is their advertising. Of course, the reason for the popularity of these private servers is the cost of the software and games I think.E.g, People usually want to play many games, but as these games and softwares are costly they are going to these servers to download them. High costs may be reasonable, because developers spend years of time, labour and money to develop these games and softwares. But they are losing their money, due to their costs.Reducing the selling price of these games will get more sales to them and more money in the long run I think.Whatever, Piracy is a great threat to all and Everybody should condemn it.

Grey-Hat Hacker: There are many arguments about these Grey-Hat hackers. To define simply, they have good intentions, but they do some damage. For example hackers who others hacks websites to notify the webmasters that, it has some vulnerabilities. Even though their intention is good, they do some damage to the website. Ethical hackers are security experts, Black-hat hacker is the dangerous one. But whomever the hacker may be, definitely he has some great knowledge.

If the system processes like CSRSS.EXE or some SVCHOST.EXE processes terminated, the system will displays the timer and shutdowns. May be some system critical processes are terminating without your knowledge, it may be due to some virus or something else. First look at your running processes....you'll get some idea. Hmmm.....I don't know about this error. But I googled your error and found that lot of people using xampp have the same problem. And most solutions say you have to use empty password for mysql (Not a good solution, I think) to disablepopping up the above error. To do so open my.ini file and remove your password there and save the file. But may not be the best solution. Google your problem and find solutions.....Or.... Well, Can you switch to WAMP server(Windows Apache MySql PHP) ? I have been using it and had no problems with WAMP. Easy to setup and configure. Download WAMP server and follow default installation. After installing it, change your root password for MySql and Follow the procedure above to setup phpMyAdmin.......

Have you set the correct password here? I mean the password you are using now toaccess MySql database? For example, can you access the database using the following command at command prompt... C:\>mysql -u root -pyourpassword Is it working?

In my opinion also, Open Office is definitely better than Microsoft Office. If the same features(may be more also) coming free of cost, why should we pay? And also, a great communitysupport for open office. And it is improving verywell by every new version.And another thing is it uses very less space(harddisk space) compared to MS Office. Andrecently I had downloaded the Portable open office and using it without problems.About compating issues, some latest MSOffice files are not compatible with its own MSOfficeprevious versions. Then why should we bother about compatibility?

I too like portable softwares very much. I am using many portable softwares. No installation overhead, no need to worry about our system performance, and mostly they work everywhere. And many more advantages with portable softwares.And great thing with these is, I crossed a Minimum System Requirements barrier for a particular software with portable edition of that software(same version). Actually whenI tried to install that software, it says my system had't met the minimum requirementsand stopped installation. Tried many times, but same result. I got a portable edition ofthe same version of software somewhere else, and hurray...........it works very well....And I am using VMWare Thinstall application to create my own portable applications now.

usually , the default password is empty. Have you changed the password in mysql? I mean if change your root password with command like SET PASSWORD=... etc.. then you need to change some file in phpmyadmin. Ok. Follow these steps. 1. First goto this location LOCALHOST/phpmyadmin/scripts Make sure, you are running the XAMPP server. 2. There you will see setup.php file. Click on it. You will see a page phpMyAdmin setup. (or you can directly go to setup page with the link LOCALHOST/phpmyadmin/scripts/setup.php ) 3. Leave it there, and go to phpmyadmin folder in your desktop.(installation directory) 4. Create a folder with name config in your phpMyAdmin directory. 5. Now goto your phpMyAdmin setup page and click on Add button located at servers. Now you see the configuration. 6. You will see columns like Server hostname, server port etc...... Leave everthing as it is, and go to the column Password for config auth. 7. Now give your password there (the password for mysql) and click on Add button. Now a page will open, with a message New Server added. Many buttons are located in that page. 8. And you see a Confuration column located below in that page. It has a SAVE button. click on it. Now a page will appear with "File Saved" message and "Configuration saved to config/config.inc.php file. 9. OK. Now goto your config folder in phpMyAdmin directory and copy the config.inc.php file and paste it in phpMyAdmin directory. (parent directory of config) . And delete the config directory. (if it asks for replace, replace it) Everything done........ Now open your phpMyAdmin page through your browser.(LOCALHOST/phpmyadmin/) Hope everthing works fine. Let me know whether it is working or not.

Which Mobile you are using? If it is Nokia, and within warranty period you can goto localNokia service center, they will upgrade it for free. If the warranty expired they will charge yousome money. If you want to install it yourself, Its not that much easy. Not all phones supportit. Some latest mobiles support installing firmware through PC Suite. You can get that informationon Nokia website. Installing firmware in those mobiles is easy and less risky. For other modelsits somewhat risky and you'll need to buy some tools. And last my small suggestion, If you aren't sure what you are doing, stop doing it.

My answer is yes. Xisto is one of the best free servers available.I have tried many other free hosting services but most of them were annoying,and some are weird. Eventhough there may be little drawbacks, still this is thebest free server. In some aspects it is better than many paid hostings. Well,the main advantage for having any paid hosting is, with paid hosting as we are paying we have the right to ask them if we were unsatisfied with their service.

Well, try this...it may work.Try uninstall and reinstall the dvd drivers.To do this, 1. Right click on MyComputer and select properties.2. Select Hardware tab and click on device manager.3. Now Expand DVD/CD-Rom Drives and right click on DVD drive detected there.4. Now select Uninstall and continue.5. Reboot your system now. Now windows will detects a new dvd drive and install its drivers again and it will work.If not, remove your dvd drive from motherboard and start the system and then install it again.Hope it will work now. If not let me know, and let's try a different solution.

When desinging a page I usually concentrate on code rather than the browser. I am usingXHTML. I don't use much graphics and avoid cutting edge features like flash, dynamic html etc..They are some of the reasons for browser incompatibity problesm. I like to avoid them. So, my page will work same on almost all browsers as no overhead of these graphics problem. Also I want my webpage very small in size, sothat it will load very fast in client machine, and uses less bandwidth also.Coming to this browser war...I don't agree that IExplorer has lost. Most of the IE success is because it is inbuilt in windows. Most people doesn't know much about computers and even how to installa software etc..They are just end users....Not developers... And even if they know how to install(Bcoz installation in windows is very easy) they may be too busy or too lazy to install a third party software. If they want to use Internet in windows they open IE and start browsing. Thats all.They won't care whether it is best browser or not. This is the reason for Internet Explorer success.So as long as Windows(or Microsoft) dominates the Operating System market Internet Explorer definitelydominates all browsers. And Microsoft's plans to develop latest versions of its browser definitely keepits share in browser market.

I am using the WAMP server, one of the best servers to run php.No need to install Apache, MySQL and PHP separately.I am testing all my php scripts locally on my WAMP server. Congfigurationand running our servers in WAMP is very easy, I think. And I am usingPHPDesigner IDE for my PHP development. This is also nice software. After testing them all successfully on my local server, i upload themto remote server.
