yeah a weekend or something that could be of any use for her hobby (tell me it's not shopping )something like a playground...can be anything..or if you have kids or you heard her complaining about something buy her something for house use like dishwashing maschine(not too sentimental but can be of good use) take the guitarhero or rockband or weekend at seaside..

If you don't have competition in the area or you're better than the competitors, I surely start my own web design business cause people need sites really not just sites you could sell anything online so it's a good idea, also joining a webdesign team is a good idea, you could learn lot of things from the colleagues

the bad part is that there is no ONLINE school for free :|an online class with grades..wow what a dream and every tip to be free...no I must be dreaming too much

a week is maximum for me even if from the 4th day means torture ;)but I could give it up for long or forever if there will be nobody to use it

zippy77 posted site was relly really really annoying, really but I could do something even more annoying the problem is that the annying part stoped..I would have used a php or javascript scipt that loops ad infinitum with a list of spoken thing..just to make the guest believe it will stop, sometime..and it will at a restart of the browser/pc or when the guest gets really annoyed and plugs it off or brakes it and smashes it hahah:lol:

I surley do all this but: 1- I agree;2- the nearest park is somewhere 1 mile from my house..3- agree but takes too much time a calendar is ok too and a pc version of journal is better for me 4- not having too much money keeps me from enjoying so much loved foods in big amounts :)5-no food after 9pm ? I go to bed after 1am next day... first of all you need to know: HTML (at least basic level) and also CSS.after that you have to know photoshop, guess more than basic level or at least the tips for creating what you need.you also need to find a HOST !!! that's the part where you need to put all you stuff... you could use localhost but I don't really think you would keep your computer pluged in for so long...for a good website I like web 2.0 ..everything that goes with it...a simple fresh clean website where the content is easily read by any guest.. this is the secret for an Impressive website...the style..but not only if you don't have something to offer there's nothing that will keep a guest on your site or for a later come back.The PHP, AJAX, Javascript,Flash an so on for dynamic stuff is alway a plus ...and never add more than is needed or less .

I found what CMS is during this year at school, the teacher proposed a contest for the school website and told us to use an free open source content management system and also told us a few name to check out.I think the best of them are: Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal. wordpress is also the best blog platform I know.As for me I only used Joomla and I'll start using wordpress too, drupal is good but I don't really like it...for no sure reason, I just don't like it :fart:

looks clean to me ;)some advice:the content gone crazy from it's box.. repair this firstand also get rid of the excessive glossy buttons... You might as well put something else as background..and minimize the size (kb) of the button images, they're loading too slow..good luck Notice from rvalkass: Merged double post.

wow thanks about that I never heard about MODx till today it seems a great tool, I'll try it as soon as possible and seems to bee what I need as long as I want to have a cms builded site and a friend is dealing with smf for a while..I'll let him know about this too.I love open source things ;)good luck with the project

good idea I thought about something like this too, and I also seen this kind of idea on some sites/web directories..It's a little buggy...and not so easy to understand all the function can offer at a first look, can be improved it's a good start I guess(don't know from how long you're a programmer)
