I remeber hearing about the frog thing ..its a great idea..but i used to get a lot of spam and would kinda do that bounce an opt out request at them for days also a good trick for getting a spamming company angry is to trace the ips back..hopefully you can resolve a company name..do a bit of googling for that company...look for any email contacts on thier pages ..and heres a good tip 99% of companies have generic email addys such as sales@ or info@ and recption@ etc...add them to the "blacklist" also...also if anyones names are mentioned on the site..address it to them in the subject header too...generally firms give up after you hit 20 email accounts of theres with spam for a few weeks..then contact you to get you to stop Then its a trade off...Ill delete you if you delete me situation )But these days I dont get much spam...I noticed that gmail is very good for cutting the spam out!!Marky;)

Hiyah!Ive used a prog at work many times to solve things like this..I cant seem to find it atm tho;(Maybe try googling Microsoft Outlook inbox repair tool i think it was called...please backup your pst first to antoher drive...then run the tool...let me know if it works for u ?CheersMarky;)

I have to agree with the other poster..pretty good of them to come clean during the install..instead you could have had a nightmare..been totally unprotected by both progs till you found the answer to why they wont work together...but then it could also be as the other poster said for their own gain in getting you to invest in ZA Anti Virus..if thats the case then fair play to them l;) cos anything that deterrs the use of Mcaffee anti virus is a positive gain in my experience Ive mentioned my favourite story about Macafee one this forum before I think...long story short Im an AVID AVG Free Edition user...one time while contracting an IT manager tried to make me install his Mcafee I refused to work unless I could use my own virus software..I then pointed out im insured for 5 million Euros if I make a mistake while working (its a standard IT policy to have this as a contractor..) so they let me carry on...after locatign the folders on the server that I would be workign with I tried to copy them to my laptop to take home and get an angle on the work involved..but HEY WTF AVG kicks in and tells me its found 19 different visus on the "FULLY" protected Mcaafee environment they had there.....lol what a joke!!! I have a few other stories like this...soo many times AVG FREE beats the corperate/enterprise or home versions of this sorry product Mcafee offers.... Yordan do yourself a favour...and the CPU and memory of your machine (yes Mcaffee is bloated to hell!!) And go here and get Proper AV protection and run Zone Alarm instead of MCAfee internet firewall or whatever they call it these days... AVG FREE FOR WINDOWS AND LINUX Oh and YES you did read it right....same product is FREE for Linux also....Beat that anyone?? Cheers! Mark;)

Mine is called ANTI SPAM!! fighting spammers on forums..It goes like this..you refresh your forum to find endless crappy posts about nothing but one sentance like " OMG I love driving games!!" then you sit back and make a cup of Tea then trace the rest of this "users" posts and rate in your mind how stupid the person is making the crap posts.Heres where a bit of handywork comes in...you need some sticky Star labels to stick on your monitor!! and write things like "loser" or "timewaster" on them or my favourite "NOT A CHANCE IN HELL IN GETTING HOSTED!!" Then you go to each thread and post something really witty (just to gain shamless credits!!) then sit back and wait for the "user" to PM you to beg for credits!!.Thats when I have a REALLY good laugh at myself!! cos I am gaining credits and the "user" is probably getting suspended or banned from the forum for Spamming!!Would you like to join in my game?Just become a member here and wait for the Spammers to hit the forum :POh and YES I am taking the P*** Marky;)

Hi guys,Ok we got FIFA07 yesterday and its GREAT!!! but we have probs witht he controls...our old joystick just doesnt have enough buttons on it..SO I started looking around for a gamepad-we want one like the PS2 or Xbox ones with dual analogue sticks and possibly vibration on.Apart from the Logitec range which I have heard bad things about (losing calibration of the sticks all the time forcing you to pull it out and recal during gameplay) can anyone recommend a good gamepad for the PC?Me and my son will be very happy!!! cos we need two to be able to play together ) Aston Villa V Ajax everyday @ my house sounds like fun ))

Hey man I really feel for you must be hell at the moment ;(I am in my 30's and I guess I used to suffer from ADHD also when I was younger, only problem was back in the 70's-80's when I was at school the symptoms were never diagnosed or understood.;(Also add to that the fact that my parents split up and went thro a nasty divorce case and battles to take custody of me I guess I was pretty F**** up when I was growing up..At School I was always bored cos im pretty intelligent and learn fast so I would get distracted which led to me disrupting classes and then have to sit with the troublemakers and the slow learning class ;(So It was like a viscous circle..the normal classes were not enough for me so ofc the slow learning classes just held me back even more ;(((The teachers just said I was naughty-the doctors said "well he misses his dad" and nothing more was ever said about it...It really wasnt till a few years ago when I met a specialist teacher socially that she diagnosed what was going with me..I looked further into it read some books read some blogs...yes I have ADHD ;((So after reading your post I think its a lot better these days now that people are aware of ADHD and your accepting the fact that you have it and your seeking help.I wish you the best and from experience all I can say its tough...but you will! come through it and really you will grow out of it and it eventually withers away inside you and you can be a lot different and a lot calmer...The only thing that I still have problems with is sleeping ;( Im like a colied spring waiting to go off when I go to bed...takes me ages to goto sleep and then im woken by the slightest noises, living where I live in the busy city center this maybe is not a good idea ;( Ive tried sleeping pilss etc...but they make me into a zombie ;(( IVe kinda accepted now that I am going to be this way my whole life..cos I will never rely on drugs every day to try to correct the problem.Its a minor thing and its not to difficult to live on 4-5 hours sleep a day...for some ppl its totally normal :PSo GOOD LUCK!! with yourself...were behind you )

Hi I installed it tonight..so far no problems..even migrated a site i am working on locally over to it..I really like the new icons and layout of the admin panels..I will add more in a few hours when Ive really played around with it..

choose any port you like...as long as it can go thro a firewall..a tip: most ISP block the default port form Azereus...I choose 6666 as my port...try it and see

Also if you use Azereus you have the option to Encrypt ALL of your traffic jsut look in the security tab inside the options menu...makes it EVEN harder for someone to mess with you

HI,Without seeing the full statement I would suggest that this is probably a hardware error of some sort..haev you installed something new recently? updated a driver recently?Or it could be a dreaded memory problem;(Paste the full msg your getting into here and I will track down what the problem is.. I have played a little with Drupal...but to be honest I found it very fustrating and awkward to get going with it!!So like many people on this forum..I uninstalled it and installed Joomla instead...theres SOO much more documentation out there to get you started..loads more mods components etc for Joomla than Drupal and soo much easier to use than Drupal..Give it a go you got nothing to loose )

hi,, first of all this is in the Google section ? unless Google have bought Yahoo today i think its in the wrong section...Have you tried to use the uninstall feature? or use the windows add remove programs then take out yahoo msngr? also try to take out any references to yahoo in the registry..you can do this by using REGEDIT...best way to start it is from the cmd box from your start menu...then search the regisrty for YAHOO then look fro any entries for yahoo msngr..then delete them..I would reboot after you do this...then go and download the new version of msngr and install it again...Hopefully this should sort this problem out...good luck!

My Gf has the W800i ..We find it ok...a lot better than the earlier Sony models..We SMS a LOT and here lies a problem with the Sony...my phone is a pocket pc..i got 4 gig of memory..i have saved every sms from the last year ..never have to bother to delete anything..I bought a 1 gig stick for her phone...lots of room now for music without having to re rip mp3s to a lower quality to fit on the phone...but here comes the problem for us...it seems virtually impossible to save more than about 40 sms on her phone and seems to be no way to use the 1 gig stick to store them in...Shes constanlty having to delete a few when one arrives..and the sony wont download new msgs till you delete old ones ;(((This really sucks!!!!!The camera is ok...but if you switch the memory to the phone memory and not the stick inside...it takes ages to save photos cos sony put a really slow flash ram inside the phone ;((Also another anooying thing is the themes abnd photos installed on the phone that cannot be delted by anythign known to man!@!! so shes stuck with a Robbie Williams theme with a large jpeg and mp3 files installed by the phone provider...these take up space and cannot be delted even with third party phone explorer software ;(( It seems the "owner" of these items is the phone provider...so unless u unlock it with a special code..they remain...The ringtones installed are really bad..first thing I had to do was make her a new one cos the sony ones are unusable ;(((After the few days a bit of plastic fell out of the main menu control button..and we cant get it replaced..no shop seems to have it...The headphone socket REALLY sucks..im SICK of phones without a "normal" (normal=3.5 stereo jack) socket...shes gone thro 2 sets of sony headphones...(bad quality ones to be honest..) so she got a rip off brand headphones..that I took apart and soldered a "proper" set of headphones to it...this lasted a few months before the connector broke and would only power the left side ;(((Also its SOO anooying cos its on the bottom on the phone!!! so you have to have it in your pocket upside down all the time..and it seems to come out with the slightest movement of the phone..so you have to stop the mp3///connect it again..then start the mp3 again ;(( Thats all the bad points we can think of..Good points are the battery life...call quality...the camera when in memory stick mode..My girl has to change her contract next month...instead of replacing the phone...shes goign to keep it...cos our provider is offering a Xbox 360 and a really old non colour phone with a new 2 year contract...were going to go with that so that our boy can get a "free" xbox for Xmas and we have a new non complicated phone incase of a breakdown of the other phones we have.I would really compare the sony to other models form Nokia and Samsung..im pretty sure theres better phones out there that do the same things...but please try b4 u buy!! go to a shop and have it in your hand...play with them for 10 mins each before signing a new contract...Good luck with your quest.....Mark+Muriel

I think this is the biggest internet joke for years...A totally inflated price for really not much of a product..I guess goggle are just going to flood the site with thier ads..and then make revenue for that..Also Google wil have to hand out a LOT of money to pay off all the people about to sue for copyright infingement..Lol I looked at the most video of all time on YouTube..wow what a let down!33,804,545 people have watched this american guy dance badly to different tunes..10646 people actually took thier time to place a comment below this video...And 85204 people bookmarked or emailed it on..I want the 2 mins of my life back that I used watching this crap!Next most viewed one was the same thing as Numa but with Pokeman..sorry guy I really dont get the joke?So at the end of the day what they got? a truck load of teeneagers sharing videos of them singing along to Numa and other appaling tunes..Thats going to make them a LOT of money me thinks!! cos teenagers spend SOO much online with thier credit cards and alaways hit adverts on sites...Yes I am being Ironic as usual :PWaste of money..should have spent it on good publicity like 1.6 billion dollars worth of grain for Darfur..helping Tsunami victims etc etc cos youtube will never turn a profit for Google..

To turn off the torrent feature...OK in the addy bar type opera:configgives u a more detailed config page and the torrent section is in there.Have fun with it!

I think i know how to fix u up :PMost soundscards by default mute the line in and the mic controls.Double Click on the speaker icon in the task bar by the clock and then in the new window that opens choose properties...this opens a new tab and in there at the bottom you can see what mixers are chosen to be displayed..if your mic is not checked..check it then close the windows..Double click again on the speaker and now you should see the levels for the Mic too...my guess its muted, unmute and adjust the volume...My guess its fixed now :PGood Luck!

Thanks for the suggestions..I managed to get things running in the end..The user had tried to install mac osX and it had gone wrong..renderign the display unreadable ;(After messing around with it for a while I got a readable screen..so he had a zip drive so i backed up all the stuff over to the windows pc using this..HE didnt have the Os9 install discs so Im torrenting them in right now..Hopefully tomorrow I can format and rebuild it to a working state again - well as "working" as a Mac can be... ))
