The mice were illegal copies that were discovered by Logitech. They were condemned and checked to see if they were really copies. Since it was confirmed that they were, Logitech has destroyed them publicly, by using a steam roller They have also started a legal suit againt the copies' manufacturers.

I'm not sure if I understood you completely, but the way I see it, there already is something like that. It is not very complex as you imagine it, but is used for playing video games.I'm talking about some gadgets that you put around your wrists and ankles, and then the game uses your hand and feet movement to do something. This tool is connected to PlayStation (afaik) and I have tried it myself. It is quite interesting if you use it for playing Tekken, but it's not very practical, since the whole technology isn't advance enough. It can follow only the simplest moves, and you have to be careful what you do if you want your character to hit the way you want him to.

Hahaha, first I though you were making another PageRank thread and that you spelled it wrong But this is great! This is from the year 2002, what can we expect now from them? Maybe an announcement that they will quit

Microsoft Hates OpenOffice
pyost replied to nightfox1405241487's topic in Websites and Web Designing
M$ hates it? I'm not suprised. It's in the human (or company) nature to hate rivals that stand out more. Microsoft Office is rather normal, but something that is good as M$ Office and free at the same time cannot be hidden. And this is a proof that more expensive doesn't always mean better. -
I don't know what happened, but I don't have it anymore, too. I don't see why they would remove it, but I don't care, I use Awstats anyway

What version did you install? If the problem is what you think it is, and if your version is below the current one (I think it's 1.0.8) try upgrading. That way you will get newer files that you might not have. Also, if you know coding, you could try hiding this, maybe make it show only "Hi!"

100webspace.com Biggest liars in the world.
pyost replied to nightfox1405241487's topic in General Discussion
Yes, I also used this service before I came to Xisto. When I applied, they already had the huge ad at the top, but they were pretty good. They supported PHP, MySQL bases and most other things Xisto does, too. But, there were some disadvantages. \First of all, the PHP mail function was disabled. They said it was because it could be abused, and by paying only a small amount of money you could have it. Nonsense.Next, my web site was down some time, and that really annoyed me. They said it was because they were working on something, but I doubt it. Also, they didn't really host the web site themselves - all the registered web sites would get some of the domains different from 100webspace.com, for example coconia.net and farvista.com.As I already said, they are a good service, but only if you only starting. I guess I won't give it a -10/10, but 5/10 would be fair. -
We GMailers don't have to worry about that. Actually, Google might start charging for some (extra) services, but it won't be necessary for other users, since it's security is almost perfect right now.Besides GMail, there are hundreds of other mail services that are free and good at the same time. Why not switch there? This will be a bad move for AOL and Yahoo!, since they will probably lose lots of their service's users.

I doubt I would like to live in a FPS game or something else violent. I would take use of this opportunity and "move" to.. The Sims There you can lead a peaceful life, without any dangers etc. Also, if you needed more money, you could always type in the money cheat :)But Tomb Raider is also tempting.. And so is Lula 3D

I have another issue, not realted to space, but to BW. Since I (re)activated my account, my spent BW was 380MB, but the stats show only 15 MB. Also, those 380MB were spent in about an hour. Is this also a bug or something else, and has onyone had this problem before?

Ouch.. My MP3 player's volume is always maximum No way of hearing any conversations Yes, people near me can hear the music (which usually makes the suffer ) Well, I don't shout. I know why people usually do, so when I'm listening to something I try to speak quiter than usual. And it helps! I really don't think those things can make you deaf easily, because if they could, we would all be deaf! The noise from the streets and other sources shouldn't be forgotten. I suppose nobody listens to music 24/7. I listen to it maybe 1 hour per day at high volume - when I'm going to school. I doubt that can hurt you a lot.

I am not sure of the commands, because I've only just started programming in C#, but I can give you something you could use.Let's say your number is x=12.5742165 and you want it to be x=12.57. Here's a formula to use:x=trunc(x*100)/100Don't know if trunc is the right command, but you need one that removes the part after the '.'This way, you get x=1257/100 and that is 12.57

First Blu-ray Titles In Store, May 23rd 2006! blu ray has arrived
pyost replied to shiv's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Well, I've heard before that the Blu-ray disks would have those capacities, but somebody hear said that these were 9GB. Now, if we're talking about those capacities, it's completly different. You buy a few of those and you never have to buy a bigger hard drive again! Just burn your files to a blu-ray disk when you get to 25GB -

pyost replied to shiv's topic in Websites and Web Designing
9GB?? Lame.. All those talks about 40GB Blu-Ray disks and now this! Give me a break.. You can have an 18GB (normal) DVD if you want to. Dual Layer plus two sides and voila. Even without those two sides you have 9GB with Dual Layer, and most DVD players support this. -
Really great job. I've been thinking of making my own template for Joomla, but first I have to learn CSS. Then I was thinking of making my own cms that only I would use. But then I'd had to learn PHP from scratch Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait. Anyway, great template - simplicity and organisation..

A Free Graphic Design Program That Could Equal Photoshop?
pyost replied to evion's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
When you talk about graphics programmes, the best of the best are Photoshop, PaintShop Pro and GIMP. Since GIMP is the only one free here, it is the best solution. I haven't tried it myself, but I can assure that it is good, since it is the only Photoshop equivalent in Linux. I believe that it will be good enough for you. Or at least I hope so -
Well, it's pretty much the same, but better than the last one. I've noticed that there are no menus on the top anymore, which I like, since they were a bit hard to notice. Next, the side menus are also better, because you aren't using the onmouseover function, so it's more clear.BTW, which CMS is that? And I guess you made your own template, right?

Yes, this one can be a bit of problem. They should really change it. However, for Xisto, https://support.xisto.com/ should be used.

Logo Designs I Created For My 2 New Websites rate the logos
pyost replied to shiv's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Same thing here. The first one is much better and more simple. The colours in the second one are to bright and it isn't easy to read it. Also, even though the shadows gives the image a 3D look, here it is better to have a 2D one. -
3=2 ! Ramanujam's Proof!.... Can U Find Any Flaws?
pyost replied to shiv's topic in Websites and Web Designing
If you have this: (3-5/2)^2=(2-5/2)^2 it doesn't mean that the square roots of those two are equal. Here's an example: (-2)^2=(2)^2 but this one is not true -2=2 However, if you have a=b, then a^2 is equal to b^2. It is a simple mathematical rule: sqrt((x)^2) = b b >= 0 This one has to solutions: x=b x=-b On the other hand, if b is negative, the equasion has no solution, because a square root cannot give a negative number. sqrt((3-5/2)^2) = sqrt((2-5/2)^2) = -1/2 After all, I am going to a mathematical school ~edit~ The approach was a bit wrong, here's a better one. N.B. |x| = -x if x<0 or |x|=x if x>=0 Here's the solution to the equasion: sqrt(x^2)=sqrt(y^2) |x|=|y| <-- this is always so, that's how you do it. Now when we replace those, we get: |3-5/2|=|2-5/2| |1/2|=|-1/2| And that get's us to 1/2=1/2 Simple as that, just had to find a glitch (not in the matrix, lol) -

Here's another photomanipulation. I used it to show my friend the basics of photomanipulationg. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ -
But if you used the music they would have to load it anyway. Embeding the audio file into the animation would be the simplest solution. I'm not sure, but I think an mp3 in a swf file takes less space than when it's not in it.
