This is the Photoshop forum, Brooks. You know, for posting stuff made in Photoshop. I gave you a little leeway on the Terragen stuff, but MS Paint is no where close to Photoshop...so thread closed.

    Good sigs though.

    166787

The terragen stuff was post-processed in Photoshop, so step, yo.

And MSPaint is nowhere close to "3d MaX Studio, Maya and other Advanced Stuff" or "Macromedia Flash & Fireworks", so step twice, yo. :D

  2. [1] "You people"? You being racist? :D

[2] ! I should have stated that because I read the debate between you and whoever.

    [3] Yeah okay whatever

    [4] Word up.

[5] Oh snap diggity! It is! Nice job on the flipping thing there, fuse!

[6] It looks like it's coming from Busty's hands, but it's the same render apparently....

    [1] Yes.

    [2] Yeah okay whatever.

    [3] Yeah okay whatever.

    [4] Yeah okay whatever.

    [5] Yeah okay whatever.

    [7] Yeah okay whatever.

  3. All right. Two very good sigs, but [1] I'm gonna vote for Kubi NOT because I got yelled at for speaking my mind but [2] because truefusion broke a rule--never put text on a render.

    Kubi:

        * Excellent background

        * Excellent render choice

        * Blending is barely noticeable, but I'll run with it.

        * Text is way too transparent

        * [3] There are blank spots

    Truefusion:

        * [4] I can't tell if the background is good or not. It looks good, but it seems to be covered up by 3 renders.

        * [5] Good blending on two of the renders. Why isn't the busty one on the right blended?

        * [6] What is that black stuff by the skull's eyes?

        * [7] Don't ever show any where below the chest of a render. I don't know why, but close-up turns me on.

    1:0 Kubi up

[1] You people are too hostile.

[2] There's not really rules in sigs. There's guidelines. You can do whatever you want. The guidelines just show you the way to what most people would call a nice sig.

[3] Blank spots are good, as long as there's not too much.

    [4] That's what I'm saying, yo. :D

    [5] It's the same render. O.o

    [6] I think it's an arrow going through...not sure.

[7] Who're you to tell him what to do? :(

And one last thing, KuBi, I forgot to mention in my first post, but it looks like you got the topic title and description mixed up...1v1 any doesn't make a very good battle topic, and kubi vs. truefusion doesn't make a very good description. :D

What do you think? My best sigs yet?

Yes, those are REAL. I'm demonic, and spam-attractive.

*Created in Firefox (DeviantART.com), Outlook Express, and MS Paint.

    DEFAULTS. :(

(Btw, you new guys, defaults is when you use only the program's default stuff...no downloaded/custom made brushes or actions or whatever. It's usually without a render too. When you use just defaults that's supposed to mean you have more skill or whatever...I could care less though, as long as the sig looks good. :D )

  5. [1] Imageshack does not have bandwidth limits. The size limit is 1 MB, but I don't think that you've ever made something larger than that at Xisto.

    [2] Yeah sure whatever.

I also like penultimate image. Never got grass when I played around with Terragen.

    166755

UNO! -- Oh, alrighty, sounds good. I'll upload them in a bit then. (I think some of my C4D renders are over a meg, but none of my fractals or terras.

    DOS! -- :(

TRES! -- Penultimate. That's a word you don't hear/see often. I've gotta use that more. And grass is pretty simple...if you want, I guess I could tell you. If you're nice. :D

  6. [1] Okay fine then, but would it kill you to make thumbnails? Hosting them all on imageshack would reduce the bandwidth load and you'll get pretty thumbnails.

[2] By the way, I really like that 3rd image. Never got a picture of a pool/canyon/hole when I played around with Terragen.

    166712

[1] I suppose I could. But doesn't imageshack have bandwidth and size limits?

[2] Thanks. I tried to make it look like it was the viewpoint of someone looking over a cliff...not sure how well I did that.

  7. Yours -- The sig itself isn't that bad, but the bg could use more depth, and the inside shadow on the text doesn't really look good. 6.5/10.His -- Not bad, overall, but the text is too big, and needs to be blended. Not sure if I like the gradient either. The render could be a bit bigger too... he's too small for that size sig, if you get what I'm saying. And of course, the border thing. :D 6.5/10.

  8. [1] You'll notice that next to the "eye" on the layers, is another box on the right of it, an empty box, when you click on it displays a "chain-link". When you're using the move tool with a linked layer, you can move both layers (the selected layer and the linked one) at the same time, or align it based on the position of the selected layer and how much space the selected layer is taking up.

[2] Strong is another word for bold. If you look back into HTML, you'll notice that the way people made bold letters, in older versions of HTML, were through the strong tag.

    166515

[1] DARN! I forgot to add that part...I wanted credit for it. :(

[2] Yes, I know that...I know quite a bit of HTML. I was just pointing out how it physically looks. :D

  9. [1] Geez, out of everybody, I thought you would know. What is this world coming to when Brooks doesn't know the difference between Crisp and Strong. *sigh*

    [2] Thank you.

[2.25] What does AA stand for? I don't remember having an Alcoholic on it....

[2.5] Too bad. I love it. I heart it.

[2.75]  :D Look at the dude's elbow. Then look at his specs. :(

    [3] Whadayamean?

    166504

[1] Crisp is crisp, Strong is fat-like. :D

    [2] You're very welcome.

[2.25] Anti-Aliasing. And it's not just me...it's common designer lingo or whatnot.

[2.5] Yes, that's right, it IS too bad.

[2.75] Look at what I said. I said too much of one color...not ALL one color. :(

[3] Meaning don't brush over the entire sig...leave some black parts here and there...so it doesn't look like just a box, you know?

[1] Sometimes, the abbreviations get a little out-of-hand, Brooks. All this time, I was thinking Alcoholics Anonymous

[2] And how exactly do you link it with the background? I'm still a Photoshop newbie. Wanna know how I center stuff? I use a ruler. No lie.

    166511

  10. Instead of None, I chose Crisp. I have no idea what each one means...maybe Brooks could do a tutorial on it.

    166490

I dunno what exactly they do or how they work, I just know what the result will be.

Anyway, nice sig, and it looks much better with the AA on the text, but I don't really like that font, and the sig has too much of one color, I think.

Oh, another handy tip from Johnny -- Don't brush the whole sig. I mean, you can, but it has a much better effect when you don't. :D

That's one I just learned a couple weeks ago.
