  1. Works for me.EDIT: Mike has a point though, about the lack of interest.
  2. Psvertjuh is right...his sig does have his forum name on it, slightly transparent in the upper right. I've taken the liberty of readding him to the list, and I'll throw him two votes for the mixup.
  3. Thanks for the input, all. I appreciate it. <3
  4. Ugh, it's Link, not Zelda. Come on mikey.
  5. You're quick to use the phrases "God forsaken" and "God darn" and "for the love of God". I think that falls under the "taking His name in vain" category. Also, throwing insults and such isn't really going to convince them to change their ways.I think it's a personal issue. Some people are more likely to preach than others...not a general persona [Christian or Aetheist]...Personally, I go to church every Sunday...I don't necessarily always believe what my church believes, but I consider myself a Christian. I personally would never preach [formally or otherwise] my beliefs [or any, for that matter] to anyone else, because they're mine and they're unique to me. Other people might feel the need to make others believe what they do. It's up to the person, I s'pose. But if anyone's in the Orange County area [specifically near Costa Mesa [by Huntington Beach]] around Easter Sunday, feel free to come to the Pacific Ampitheatre at the OC Fairgrounds...it's not going to be some huge Christian preach-off, but it's a nice event that anyone can enjoy. Food, music [not just Christian], games, that kinda thing. I'll be there, so who knows, you might bump into me. <3
  6. Hm...my own blog has just as many [if not more] plugins installed and running for my wordpress...this leads me to believe that it's not actually the number of plugins running that affects it, but an error with one of the plugins itself. Are you sure these plugins [their specific versions] are compatible with your version of wordpress, and were there any errors or weird things when you installed them? If so, it may have been an installation issue, which might cause you to reinstall the plugins or [worst case scenario] wordpress itself. I wouldn't do any of this without knowing for sure though.
  7. Contribute, discipline, organize, manage, support, and advertise are the basic requirements for a moderator. They should get new people to come to the forum [provided the person would be interested...no use having people there that don't want to.], do their own to contribute by posting, manage and organize forums by removing bad things, adding new things, rearranging things for clarity, etc., and most importantly HELP out with any forum members that might need it. An administrator is basically the same thing, but as far as forums are concerned, they do a lot more of the backend management by controlling and changing what goes on with the forum system itself, and less with the content of the forums. Hope that makes sense.
  8. Kate Beckinsale has my vote. Those eyes and that voice and that body, wow. Me and my girlfriend joke that I'd leave her for Kate and she'd leave me for...oh wait, I forgot. Ah well, I've got him beat, whoever he is.Too Hot's got something with Kristin Kreuk though. She's kind of a waste of a character in Smallville, but she's definitely a hottie.
  9. My thoughts exactly. Personally, I'm not a fan of tech borders at all, but if you really want to do them, Saint Mike is the person to ask...he's more into them. <3 Nice work though.
  10. My vote goes to Migue2k7. The whole thing generally flows together smoothly, including the text and background. Nice job Migue.
  11. If you're in between middle school - college, music is definitely a good way to start conversation with a girl. Well, not start conversation, but keep it going. You can't really walk up to a girl and be like, hey, what kind of music do you like? That's just awkward. But if you find yourself in a conversation with her, that's a way to keep it going.Computers probably isn't a good one, I'm not sure why. Girls just don't seem to like them as much as we do, I guess. There's a few exceptions, of course, which are usually the kind of girl I'd like, but that's another story. The easiest way to get her to go on a date for movies would be to ask her if she's seen any good movies lately, which ones she wants to see, then if she wants to see one, ask if she wants to see it with you. Of course, if you don't have a car yet, that'll be awkward too, but whatever. If you're trying to get her to do coffee or lunch [much more serious/close than movies, but harder to do], just kind of find out if she's doing anything at a certain time, and if not, go for it. Probably best to find out if she likes coffee first though.Breakfast usually isn't a date thing, dinner is more of a relationship thing. Parties are really good if you go with a girl you like, but I'm not sure if you're going to parties yet. I didn't until my senior year of high school.About the popular thing, don't worry about it. Popular girls will react to you about the same as an unpopular girl would. They just have more friends around.
  12. For the past week or so I've been doing nothing but downloading and burning games for my dreamcast [don't tell Sega, please.]. It really puts some life back into a system that died way before it's time. I think I have about a hundred different games for it now...80 or so burned. The DC had a ton of really great games, and not a lot of bad ones. The ones I've been playing most are: Shenmue II [i bought the first one when I got my DC, it's fun coming back to the same story after so long] Soul Calibur Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and if I have friends over, I usually bust out Power Stone 2 or Worms World Party. It's a really great system if you're looking for multiplayer action. None of the new systems can do that nowadays, it seems. If only I had more VMUs...I've got two of them currently, but with a hundred games to choose from, which take anywhere from 1-80 or so blocks out of the 200 on the vmu for saves, it gets to the point where you're deleting old ones to make room for new ones all the time. BUT I found this really great tool called the VMU backup disk...basically it's a cd with a ton of gamesaves on it from different places on the web, and you can transfer them over to your VMU whenever you want...it's really useful if you want to say, unlock all the characters in MvC2 before your friends come over. I just wish I had gotten a PS2 or Xbox instead of a Gamecube, or at least one of those GC's with a bigger cd tray...I'd love to be able to burn games for a system from that gen.
  13. I used to play Runescape several years ago in middle school...then I got bored...then for fun I started playing again a year or so ago...I found out I had some items that were no longer in the game [disk of something, they don't even do anything anymore], sold those for a huge amount of money...then I got bored and quit again. My character's still loaded, but no, you can't have any. :lol:And yes, you CAN download runescape, but you don't have to. The downloaded version is basically a mini internet explorer window with the homepage being the runescape site.
  14. You teach me how to play video and DOOM on my ipod shuffle [without taping a mini tv to it] and I'll give you a million dollars.
  15. I'm not a fan of contest work, frankly, but I hope you get some good entries. I've been thinking about designing my own t-shirts...it's much cheaper than buying designer clothes, and I can put my own work and ideas into it. All you need is special paint for the fabric. <3
  16. I also agree on the light colors, but it really is a nice looking template. Very professional looking, it's a fitting theme, and nicely put together. Nice work.
  17. I don't think he's talking about space OR bandwidth, but actual server memory [the ram on the hosting server]...I wasn't aware of a limit on that, I didn't think websites took much memory at all to run...What kind of plugin are you trying to use?
  18. Grams are used pretty much everywhere but America, Mike. You can probably get measuring tools that have both too.Interesting recipe, but I'm not really a fan of walnuts. =/
  19. My computer's processor [Pentium 2, ~350mhz] is just too slow for me to run any more applications than I need, so currently I don't use any antivirus/spyware/spam software. If you take the time to learn, you can find out how to clean your computer of just about any sort of negative software pretty easily, there's just the odd chance that one of them might bring your computer to it's knees before you have a chance to respond. Most of them, though, don't do a whole lot towards your computer itself, they just like to be annoying.
  20. Alright then, I'll keep failing, hopefully something cool will come out. :PThanks vamp, I appreciate it. ♥
  21. Failed experiment. Feel free to be critical.
  22. Ditto. 300's a great movie, by the way. Definitely the best I've seen in a long time, if not forever.
  23. I was thinking maybe I shouldn't have made the white glow...make it a plain color like the pink...would that be better?
  24. I'm at a friend's house right now, but I wanted to see if I could do a sig with minimal resources... You guys think this is any good?
  25. Like the others have said, I CAN do it, I just don't want to. :PSure, if we all did it, we'd probably save the Earth trillions of dollars in a single day, but eh, it passes the time, ya know?
