  1. I can't even afford to upgrade my 350MhZ CPU, I don't need to be buying video cards with a GPU twice as fast. T.T BUT, these do look like they'd be nice for the people that can afford them. Here's a link with some info: http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/article/1848/nvidia-8600gts-and-8600gt/
  2. No offense, but you guys are still just schoolkids. I wouldn't really too much about a relationship. They're nice, but until high school's over they don't really mean much.If you like her, just try and be good friends with her. You'll definitely have the impulse to want to date her, but I wouldn't push that.If you become good/best friends with her now, a relationship later will be tons better. And even if you guys aren't dating later, it's still nice to have her close by.Hope that helps a little.
  3. We should probably be cloning and mass producing this stuff then. Am I the only one who thinks it would end up being the greatest condiment of all time?
  4. A friend of mine bought CH hosting recently....he says the mysql databases have been going down? Or something?
  5. Depends. I think once you hit the physical level, it's hard/weird to stop that. I think that applies to all forms of physical affection, from hugs to sex.But obviously you can have a relationship without being physical, it's just not as much fun, in my opinion. o_O
  6. One of the reasons I don't like yahoo or msn are the portal pages. Too cluttered and cramped, there's so much going on in one page, and most of it I don't and won't need. BUT if you want google as a portal, just use google homepage. You can add/remove/move/change a bunch of different module type things...it's almost like a google CMS.
  7. I'm gonna say no. Requests should really only be for people who don't have a sig already, and don't know how to make their own. Also, you joined only a little over a week ago...Try and wait a little while before requesting too much. Any good graphic designer can be making at least 10 bucks for a single sig...getting them for free is a privilege.
  8. Even if the topic starter is legitimate, this just has too much potential for other scammers and spammers that might wander over here. Topic locked.
  9. Google is the end all be all for search engines for me. It's much too powerful to ever go away [unless the entire internet were to crash or something] and it's just very reliable and versatile. There are SOOOO many hidden features and tools for google, and they have all those neat side applications [Gmail, Maps, Images, IG].Funny thing is though, I use firefox, and I have google homepage set as...my homepage... but I never actually search from there. I always use the search bar built into FF.I think at some point down the line Google will be a hub for pretty much anything you might want on the internet. And then they'll have just as much money as Gates. <3
  10. Yes, it's definitely an April Fool's joke. I wish it weren't though, there are some sweet things in my mailbox that I would love on paper. And that image thing would be perfect. o_OThey should release a real version of this, and maybe make it a paid service or something. I wouldn't mind 5-10 bucks a month or something like that for Gmail Paper...even if there's a limit on how much you can get per month or something.
  11. Smart idea. If you gained say, one credit a day [not likely, just an example], if you went and applied as soon as you had 30 credits, you'd still have the same amount [well, less, actually, from the initial credits taken out for hosting] after a month, whereas if you wait an extra month before applying, you'll have 30 more credits than before, in the same amount of time. I never thought about it that way...that's smart. Now I wish I could do that. =/ About the Spam Patrol - Just find spam posts, copied material from other websites, offensive posts, etc etc, and use the report button to report it to all staff members. If we notice you're really good at finding and reporting spam, we'll consider you for SP. Or in some cases, moderatorship. <3
  12. Currently checking my phone for bugs and my bathroom for cameras...
  13. I have a feeling dreamweaver cs3 will be a nice program to add to any web designer's collection. Yay for assimilation!
  14. trap17.com - Obviously. I've been spending more and more time here lately because I have tons of free time at work and all I do is work on a computer...plus hopefully I can reach 280 credits and get my domain transferred [1&1 is a horrible horrible domain company...don't ever go with them. They're cheap, but they like to lock your account even after you've paid for your domain for a year. T.T] myspace.com - https://myspace.com/browser, it's how I get in touch with literally all of my friends...I keep deleting them though...I'm a jerk like that. gmail.com - Obvious here too...guy's gotta check his email, ya know? And I like randomly emailing people when I'm bored at work. <3 craigslist.org - Most of my job requirements involves posting ads on craigslist [yes, I'm paid to spam craigslist. I get 10 bucks an hour for 48 hours a week, so I'm willing to look the other way on our shady internet advertising. Sue me.] Find 1Stop Mattress in the furniture sections. I also like to check CL every now and then just to see what kind of deals there are... lately I've been looking for a camera [digital photography], car [i want a cheap but stable one], computer [also cheap but good quality], a new ipod [shuffle blows]...that kinda thing. mininova.org - Yes, I'm also a movie/tv/music/game pirate. Sorry, but I don't have money, and I'd die without entertainment. Mostly I download TV shows...lately I've been watching 24...I love that show. bndclan.net - My CS clan's site...it's kinda worthless as far as actual content, but eh...gotta keep up with clan news and such.
  15. Another [failed experiment] quick sig I did at work...it's an actual "sig" sig. Probably won't look good on this forum theme, but I'm not a huge fan of it anyway.
  16. The spam patrol thing might cause conflict with actual moderators though, because we'd have to figure out if moderators get the same benefits, if they don't then members would rather be spam patrol than an actual moderator, and if they do it would have to be clear when and how the benefits are applied and so on and so forth.I dunno...I can't think straight right now...8 hours at this computer has completely fried my brain.
  17. Ugh, don't even talk to me about college. I failed one class in high school, didn't get my diploma on time, couldn't go to the college I want, now I've been out of school for a year because I just feel miserable about the whole thing.Right now I'm working so I can get things all settled out...it'll be a while though.
  18. I'll be paying for hosting soon, [gonna switch to Xisto - Web Hosting], but I definitely know what you mean. Some days it's just impossible to think of something to post, and other days you just can't post more than a one or two-liner. It sucks, you just have to work with it I guess.Try to find something you're interested in, and either find or start topics about it [starting is better, you can talk about exactly what you want, and I think you get a bonus as far as credits go.]
  19. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. No offense, but the graphics crew currently isn't doing anything whatsoever. Most of them don't even post sigs anymore.Maybe spam patrol, but I'm not sure. But you're right as far as the second part goes, this would be a good incentive for people to get to work. Normal members would be inspired to do graphics, or do more to stop spam, if they knew it would benefit them as well.Shoot, I know I'd be doing a lot more sigs if it got me ANY credits, let alone more than normal posting.I'd like to see what BH or Opa think of this.
  20. @TF - Yeah, it's similar to what I was doing before.@CR - Plain because I did it at work...text is supposed to be hidden, because it would just look weird on those.BUT, I do agree, they could be better. Thanks for the input. Welcome to Xisto, btw. <3
  21. As long as you're seeing each other on weekends, it should be okay. That's how often I see my girlfriend, since we both work and she has school [which is 20-30 minutes away, she lives in a dorm].Any more than two weeks at a time is where you start to get problems, I think.
  22. That's the mindset that got me past my most recent [a week ago] suicidal thoughts. It came close this time too...I was off looking up ways to do it without much pain/effort... It's a nasty thing once it consumes your mind.
  23. I think it depends on the girl. Some look better with makeup on, some don't. Personally I think my girlfriend looks better without it, but she doesn't look half bad [or bad at all] with it on either.I'd say the majority of girls would look better without makeup. Some isn't very healthy either, I've heard.
  24. Just a quick sig I did at work...I get really bored over here. =/ Two versions, five minutes, six layers.
  25. I'm at work right now, which has a much much better computer, but my own computer at home has these: Someone send me a better computer. I'll pay for shipping and love you forever. I'll even give you moderation immunity and all my hosting credits. I'm serious.
