  1. I've been wondering for a while now, since the amount of days is hardly piece to achieve. Are the days we get for our account fewer when applying for the hosting package 2,comparing applying to the hosting package 1.Theoritical it would make sense, because it requires 20 more credits for the package 2.If we posting a post in the forum do we achieve more days for that post if we having package 1? If thats the case, are there any opportunity for downgrading to a package 1 account?
  2. My sisters dog, Luna, which are a golden retirever, got sick when eating pineapples, she got fever and was down for a week.Worried she called to vets and they confirmed that its common for lots of dogs, getting sick when eating pineapples. So thats my first question, what in the pineapples making the dog sick?A new drill I found out by my dog breeder, that Xylitol is toxic for a dog. After an half hour after eating it, the dog starts puking and becoming dull. Even get cramp and becoming unconscious. Have anyone read anything about dogs and artificial, non-saccharide sweetener.Btw, Nice topic!
  3. Nope, I like playing on my console, and to add so everybody understands, I got a almost 1 month old daughter that takes upp a little time, but still I get a little amount of time to play on my console. So I don't think it is a waste of time.Okey, It don't make you a better person, or even get's you anything.. or maybe it does, if your frustrated, play a fighting-game and get that agression out of your system, or some other game if you don't like fighting-games like me.. hmm, I'm into RPG.Either that or grab a gun and kill someone on the street.. which is better?? I'll say play the game and kill something there.. and not IRL.So in the end, playing games may not be so much waste of your time after all.Ps. I don't play that much games.. just when I feel like it and have a game that is interesting. ds
  4. Hmm, I like Robert Jordans books about rand and his adventures.I also like Terry Brooks and David Eddings. They really know how to make you read on, and on, and finaly don't sleep just do keep reading...*lol*I'll also want to add that the outspoken riddle about Harry Potter is kinda lame. There's many like me that really think that the author Rowlings world of Harry Potteradds alot to the fantasy flick. Rowlings way to describe harry potters world of magic is captivating and entertaining from the first page to the last and adds usual common problemfor a teenager and makes it easy to take the story and harrys struggeling close to the heartbecause its easy to relate as human beeing.
  5. The easiest, and best way to create an fully configured instance of Jooma! is using Jumpbox för joomla! Take a look - http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ In this clip you get a tutorial, how you setting up a jooma instance which are made first with the short jumpbox way and a long wamp stack way.
  6. I have read about the game, but only played the xbox360 demo, which is with multiplayer. When i first saw this game demo, I thought if I ever buy a xbox360I want to purchase this game, because;- The graphics, are really good, details, enviroments are very nice.- The open world, many possibillities, no boundaries. Choosing routes, rules and prizes. But I have also read, that the game have lacks of reality when it comes to driving. The demo, has only three cars(correct me if its wrong) and one motorbike, and drivingthe motorbike were the worst handling experience I ever encounter.Still want it!
  7. I have to go back when windows 95 was the current Operative System. My friend and I geeked Transport tycoon Deluxe(and even Transport Tycoon)We sat weeks and months playing and trying to make the best transport company.I can even today recall all the fun we had with this game, which were and are not in the same range of graphic as doom or Half-life. But a hell of a fun game. You maybe ask; How in the **** could you guys enjoy and had patience watching the other making a *BLEEP* and boring transport route?I dont really have a good answer, but when we sat there with our cups of coffee's 1996, confounding and irritating one another with ideas and tip how you could do that route better, we had whole alot of laughs and fun.Not that kind of fun as slicing and killing monsters, gaining experience with a character, whom you a week later sell at ebay to a guy with less experience.More of a fun between two good friends, that enjoyed that enoying sid mayer game.
  8. Wii is like many of you replying in this thread, not a system unit revolution! It is a control revolution, by making games more interactive and fun! My cousine Tuomas (who are detailfreak and owns a xbox 360) first look at my new invested Wii, didnt impressed him at all. He didnt liked what he saw nor wanted to test wii sports, to find out for himself. He only said it looked poor and childish, maybe more enjoyible for the youngsters! In comparison for me who was overwhelmed by the features. I bought a Xbox, 2004, and my best friend had a PS2, and i thought that next console i purchase must be something new. It doesnt mattered if the graphic didnt took me by suprise, or if the manufacturer were some other than the big companies like Sony or Microsoft. Today when i look back to that day in the store, where i bought my Wii console, I havent regret one single day that I choosed Wii console as my next gen console choice. It is worth buying, and its a perfect party console to kill time with your friends or family.
  9. The books are great, they open up for the magic, that exist in everyone of us.Encourage us to achieve our dreams, strive against the purpose of our lifes.Even if the struggle may cost you everything you hold dear, you'll be rewarded in the end.And for the topic, which I seems for the most part, making offtopics, I'll say thatOrder of the Phoenix is the book I like most.
  10. Thanks alot for your tips, it seems like there are many getafree-sites that comes with alot of requirements, like residents restrictions, a-must-to-referal and a time consuming hard work. And top of that theres even sites that scamm you. But this one QuickGreen seems to have trusted GPT's as a standard. I will try some of them on the site, thanks alot! Btw, one GPT that i have tested and which I've recieved reward(in candys) is http://sweetcollect.se/ or http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. It's an website where you can earn free sweets just for clicking on their adverts!
  11. Wow, that's cool news! 4 TB, thats a little of a overkill, for a normal user, if you dont plan hosting. I bought an 160 GB harddrive, four years ago. It took me three days filling it up. As someone already said, games will require more and more harddrive space. And for putting an HD DVD 1080p DDPlus 5.1 movie on your harddrive will allocate 26 GB. So filling a nice four TB harddrive about two years wouldn't be a unsuccessfully mission.
  12. I'm a FIFA fan and the 2007 edition are a great addition indeed! The graphics(player moves, tricks and arena enviroment), the gameplay(control is everything, improved AI) andsound(soundtracks, crowd) are alot better than FIFA06.It's manager filled with upgrades and tasks to accomplish from both sponsors and the board. Fun making a ownplayer include him on a own made mediocre team, begining from the bottom, and start climbing to the top. After a two year winning the premier leage on pro level, with having transfered the worlds best players on your team, will cut off the competition and the level of fun.(It's rather obvious)A nice feature, I almost forgot mentioning , is the goal saving function in XBOX, that wasnt included in the earlier years editions. It is a great game, and offers alot fun, and are still todaya party game, which myself and my brother stil enjoy playing togheter.
  13. Nice tutorial, bradley908, simple and clean! Before you reformate your dear and precious harddrive, you can install a neat little treasure to backup all your drivers in a single executeble. DriverGenius, makes it easy and simple, and you dont need to go digging drivers on net after just installing your system(even if it is good updating drivers for your hardware from time to time to keep it up to date). I use Drivergenius, for my customers and it really ease up my work.
  14. An corporation OS like Windows and Mac OS, has frames and limits, comparison to an Open source GPL OS, there frames and limits are only set for how far the computer development have come. The step to an Idiot, day-by-day user-friendly version of linux tagged Winows XP OS are not far ahead. Today I'm running both Vista and XP and there are benefits using an OS which support all kind of software and computer equipments.Almost every computer on sale, comes with Windows, and have a recovery DVD or Partition with the OS. So why bother install an other OS that I dont know much about, when i got a simple and User-friendly one that I've already purchased?
  15. A classic book, that makes me feel warm, is the wonderful novel written by Michelle Magorian, Goodnight Mister Tom.Its a masterpiece about loneliness, friendship, loss and love. It's a book for all ages, and my favourite one.My second choice would be The Shadow of the Wind writtenby Carlos Ruiz Zaf?n. It's also a masterpiece, and skillfully written novel. I read the first chapter or two and was completly swallowed up by the story, and I couldn't stopreading before I reached the last page.
  16. I don't know if I agree with you or not, but I do think the little bsd is very annoying when he/she screams and make my day a living hell. BUT when the little jolly thing smiles, just doing funny stuff or beeing nice I can't do anything but love the little one. But that's me. "If you can't hate, you can't love either"
  17. I read Paolinis Eragon before i got to see it on movie theatre, and I was disapointed with how little storyline material around Eragon that was included in the movie. But my little brother saw it without reading it, and loved the film. He was disapointed that the movie gained so little attention, got so low score on IMDB as 5.1, and that there will not be an sequel to Eragon!I have learned from my misstake, there will not be any reading before I go see the golden Compass in december.
  18. I am a nine hour sleeper, more than nine makes my brain go in slowmo. A popular belief is that you do need eight hours of sleep to function properly during the day. Sometimes does a four hours sleep, me more effective, and i feel more rested and more alert than a eight hour sleep.
  19. I too have to go with Naruto, Bleach is also a really great anime series that is worth watching. .Hack is kind of hard to get, and not that good. Have seen it and didn't like it that much. Naruto is good because I really like the extreme things they can do it that series, It is kind too much sometimes, but cool anyway.
  20. Tricky one. Linux has by the years as GPL, developed software similair to windows, so the talk about choosing Windows instead Linux because the major benifits by using windows, is not a fair reason. Linux is sweet using it as a webserver, and because it's a GPL OS there's alot of updates and stuff for it. But the hard part is if you are new to computers and don't know mush about how to install programs in Linux, it could be a very hard OS to grasp. And as Windows is "put-in-CD/DVD" and install-os, Linux is not. It demands some degree of skill to get programs to work properly. So If you want to install linux, get as much info on how to do things before you start installing it. Because alot of things can go wrong if you don't do it right.
  21. By my defenition, the best Media player is VLC ( VLC media player). The good thing about VLC is that you don't have to install any kind of Codec, Vlc already got Codex built in. So when you just have to reinstall you comp, you don't have to reinstall every little codec to get you movies working again. Only one Program that does it all.And as for a music player, I really love the one you get with vista or Xp, but I really don't have a choice in the matter. My Little Sansan mp3 player don't like either Winamp or other cool music players. So I'm stuck with the Windows Media player. Can't say it suck, it really is a good player, have all I need to play the music in my comp, and that's what really matters.
  22. As many have stated google is the *BLEEP*! Is simple and relieble, but digging and hunting can be long and hard to find specific information, and google isn't always the right tool. I like the theme logo that google, have spiced up from time to time like Olympic Games, holidays. But it would be nice having Css styled themes choosing from user to user.
  23. Have anyone successfully made a site applications with fabrik component for Joomla? - http://www.fabrikar.com/index.php The reason why I downloaded fabrik in first place was to make a computer service status for my website (localhost) But when I'm running the application, fully inplenting the options for service tags, i get the error message: Notice: Undefined variable: _VERSION in C:\wamp\www\components\com_fabrik\fabrik.html.php on line 26 Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in C:\wamp\www\components\com_fabrik\fabrik.html.php on line 26 Notice: Undefined variable: mosConfig_absolute_path in C:\wamp\www\components\com_fabrik\fabrik_elements.class.php on line 436 Well i have done my homework and google for the reason why it keep yelling, but all i can find is that I have to buy a subscription for getting the manual and support. Well, I like to contribute, but I find it hard to buy a subscription to support a group when I dont see if its gonna help me in the end.
  24. You know what you are talking about. Thanks for sharing your knowledge how to make a website successfully. You give alot of tools, hints and tips and I will use some them when making my own homepage successful.
  25. I have played PES 6, and it's a good soccer game, but I can't agree that it's better than FIFA.I know that PES have its points, but it doesnt have the same level of fun and gameplay as FIFA.
