  1. Well I'll contribute with my petlist Current: I have a dog, an wonderful cocker girl, name Wilma I love dogs, they have their own personality and are so much more social and devoted, and give so much back as affection. Past: A crossbreed cat, named Tyson. Another one crossbreed cat, named Titus. Remembering when Wilma was a puppy, and Titus a little kitty. Even if Titus knew he would end up flat as a pancake underneath Wilma, he struggled crawling under the fence into the kitchen, where Wilma was limited to be in the beginning, and awaited Wilma who never resisted an opportunity to show who was the packleader at least amongs the animals in the house. Ehhm, back to the list. A crossbreed dog named Bobby. He was the most obedient dog I've ever seen or experience, a wonderful dog and a good friend. I still miss him even if it were about 10 years ago as we seperated.
  2. I'm just playing with the thought, if you got a heartdisease. If a dream are intensive, you're moving, your heart rate increases.its not so way out if your heart collapse.
  3. There have been a couple Similar topics to this one, the new sidetrack is PSP.Its easier and more fair comparing similar consoles like XBOX360 and PS3, and PSP and Nintendo DS.My devoted vote goes to XBOX360, because of the huge variety of games and big online experience.
  4. How do you discover new music and similar artists to the bands you're listening at. When I'm bored to death listening to the bands I like, I use of course google.com phrase searching for example "Similar Artists system of a down". I also use last.fm, which are superb listing, similars. But back to my question: How do you discover new music?
  5. I own a SonyEricsson W950i, and I can tell the difference between my old Nokia 6280 phones and my new one. I have always been fond of Nokia and their phones, but having experience three of Nokias phone and two SE phone, in comparison it's like the difference between night and day, I've got more problem with the Nokia phones that I think as a customer should have with a phone. Thats one of the main reasons why I turned down the new Nokia N95 when i recently needed a new phone. When you buy a phone, you need it to be reliable for filling your needs. When a phone starts dropping calls and import data as contacts and saved sms disapears from the phone, yes you go to your phone shop and asks whats wrong with your phone. For an exemple my dear Nokia 6280 I had for about three years, was away for firmware upgrades and repair three times the first year. I am aware of, When Nokia 6280 were street released it was famous for having alot child diseases. But it felt for the fifth time in repair that the phone had more problems that I as a paying customer should accept. When I complained in the store, they offered me a Nokia N95, but I had to pay 200 euro in upfront to keep paying the same subscription as I had. They ensured me that this phone should give me no more phonetrouble headache. Instead of paying the upfront, plus the monthly subscription, I choosed to cancel subscription and bought me a W950i without subscription for 200 euro.I'm having zero problem with my new phone and its working like a charm.
  6. Thanks for your help and your good tutorial. The reflection, by following your guide, looks both nice and just as I wanted it. In order to gain the whole effect, without looking cropped, I have to decrease the font size. By doing that, I wonder if it's going to be better than the logo I have now, without reflection. Once again, thanks for all your help, Saint Michael!
  7. Can anyone here tell me how I could make this logo reflection image in PhotoShop? Thanks for all your time and help
  8. How old is your router? Have you updated your WRT54GS Routers firmware? I 've been looking for information about your router at Xbox.com, and found out that you need firmware Version 2.02.7 in order to make Xbox Live to work properly with your router. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ In order to download and update your firmware you have to check the version number of your WRT54GS router - http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ By the way, ensure you have a wired connection when updating your routers firmware, if you are connected wirelessly or the PC you are performing the firmware upgrade from is connected wirelessly you are also running a risk. Any drop in the wireless signal during the firmware upgrade could corrupt the process. Hope this could solve your Xbox Live connection problem.
  9. Thats was awesome, thanks for sharing! They looks really nice, I'm off making glossy buttons
  10. Yes, thats right. That little box is set by your xbox360 static IP (192.168.1.100), as well as if you portforward a game on your computer it will be (192.168.1.20). Follow the guide by adding the port range Xbox Live 360 requires (port 88 and 3074) to be forwarded in your linksys router (WRT54GS) and your xbox static ip (192.168.1.100). Good luck!
  11. Linksys, is one of the best routers out there. I got one D-link gaming, which have giving me some hard times, but I've also successfully configured programs and games running smoothly by using portforward.com's guides. I've found a guide how to config your WRT54GS to work with xbox360 live: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Hope this would solve your problems!
  12. Yup, you´re defenitely not the only one Like many others, my last read book is the last book of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows(ehh, suprise). It's kind of cool, there are so many paying attention and has an eager to complete reading all the Harry Potter books, which includes readers from a wide age range, not just applying to our youngsters. The swedish translation had recently premiere, and many of my friends(which some thought, Judging by the first book, a book for children) buying the last book on the release day. What! Seriously? Are you taking speed reading courses?
  13. Thats right, this 8MB partition stores partition information on the harddrive, but whats odd is that 8 MB "partition" ended up as "C:\", when it shall be hidden and not associated with any drive letter. Simply backup all necessary data, like your documents, pictures, game saves, program data. Download Driver Genius or Driver Magician and backup all your hardware drivers, so you after the Windows XP installation, can install the rest of the hardware that XP installation didnt installed for you. In the first step of the XP installation you may delete all of your partitions. When I'm helping people with system recovery, I use to advise my customers, making two partitions (if you only have one harddrive) one for Windows XP and Programs, and the other one a backup partition for your necessary data. By doing that you are easy off to go if somethings happens with your Windows XP partition drive. In your case I suggest (now depending of how many programs or how big they are, that you are using) 80 GB for your C:\(Windows and Programs) Partition and 160 GB for your D:\(necessary data), like documents, pictures, music movies... When you have made your partitions on your harddrive you will see a spare partition about 8MB big, which you cannot delete or merge, It have to be there. Do not put a driver letter to it. Hope I could be to your help, good luck!
  14. I love movies, and picking out a few of them, is hard. But these are the films I enjoy most seeing; Lord of the rings: Triology (Fellowship of the ring, The Two Towers, Return of the King) Harry Potter: Movies(Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) The Mighty Crash The Shawshank Redemption Gladiator American History X The Fifth Element The list could be so much bigger, but since this is all about mine fave film, I already past the limit when I continued with movie number two.Fellowship of the ring shall be mine one and only!
  15. My friend has an D-Link DI-604 - Router.Yesterday he told me that his router isnt connectable. He ran a couple of tests on his own, but still no connection.Without knowing what were the problem, he got in touchwith a geek guy, that tested his router and found outthat the routers WAN port was burned, and he couldn't use his router more than a simply switch without firewall. So here's my question; how could a routers WAN port be"burned" and still be possible to use the router as a switch? What went wrong with the router when there were Lightning and overvoltage protection attached?
  16. I have been using NOD32 for monitoring files from threats, trojans and virus. NOD32 monitors files, documents and emails. I find it to be one of the most lightweighted antivirus program out there. As my own experience, I've recommend this program to customers and friends, because of the programs reliability. I havent got any threats in my system for almost three years time while using NOD32. I know several computer companies in my neighbourhood, providing their customers computers with grisoft's AVG free edition. After running a NOD32 In-depth analysis on their AVG free protected system I'm soon to find a couple of threats that AVG free had missed out. It's now you starting wondering about how safe your computer is. I think it's horrible not knowing theres a threat executing your system when you think that you are protected and safe.
  17. Thanks for all information regarding Plasma vs LCD monitors. As many stated here, LCD provides better picture and longer lifetime. They had a outsale for monitors and my brother bought a Viewsonic 22", for 200 Euro, he was satisfied, he could put up the monitor on the wall if he likes to. I got a plasma 19" and its soon two years old, and the monitor works just fine. After playing games on mybrothers viewsonic, I realise I want a bigger monitor. The seller we bought the LCD monitor from told me that viewsonic is world leading when it comes to monitors, is it? Are there other brands thats better? What am I looking for specific to determine whats a good LCD monitor?
  18. Nice topic, I've runned the completly same question about a month ago, when I reech the limit of what i could take on notepad's one single undo function. Textpad are available from http://textpad.com/products/textpad/index.html on a try before you buy basis. But if it's ok buying an application in the end why not go and buy a license on dreamweaver, for an exemple? Btw, when you install Dreamweaver you get the option to choose how you want your workspace. Either a visual layout interface or a streamlined coding environment or a combination of them both. After done my research after a notepad like program, I ran into metapad. I can heartly recommend this replacement for notepad if it is what you're looking for. I use it for notes, writing stuff and also for edit htm/php/sql files with ease. Go grab your copy @ http://liquidninja.com/metapad/
  19. I think saying "Meat is murder" is a hypocritical because we're not the only ones that kills brutally, animals do it to, just the other day I heard a girl swearing about not killing that poor lilttle thing, well, the snake that killed that little fury rabbit(poor little thing she didn't want dead) is a meat-eater and can't eat carrots. So it's in his nature to kill for living. Some may say that humans aren't dependent on meat to live, but I know we are, we need the thing thats in the meat, something a true vegetrarien knows. I know this because my X is a vegetarien, I'm not.I don't like the way we treat animals. but what should I do, Some things can't be stoped..like thing happen that I don't se, or can't do anything about. And one thing is YOU can't change the way people think, and I have seen stuff I really didn't like. I treat animals nice. I Love cats and dogs. But I can't do much about how other people treat theirs. I could try to stop them from hiting the animal.. but who hits a dog in public, unless your in a country that don't care at all about any animal.
  20. A good question, but do you despite a good livelyhood, if your heart tell you to do that?I rather go hungry, than making something that isnt me. Thats are a good sum up, MB. Even if you aren't at the place or work in your life and career, where your dreams are, you can still achieve what your heart desire for. MB, points out well about cooking. But a tricky one that I've been reflecting over is if you are working with something you love, will it still be your passion? I've been helping peoples out with there computers for almost 10-15 years time. And I love helping people with their computers. It have been in a small scale, maybe 2-4 works per months overall. But sometimes I've been away helping people whole days, and back home, I almost puked at my own computers. Now I'm planning to take the next step to a small company level. Will I still gonna enjoy my work and feel happiness about who i am and where i am at a company level?
  21. Thanks alot jlhaslip! I got 9.4 days, which means 9.4 credits, which means 280 credits is a really hard and tuff challenge for getting a topdomain, when I whining about that the amount of days is hardly piece to achieve. How many have achieve that little goodie?
  22. On the forum startpage, when I've logged in are only showing me HOSTING CREDITS in DAYS. What I meant was as you first stated. 23. When I were younger I were a big fan of TinTin, Modesty Blaise and Asterix comic books.Nowadays I'd still enjoy a TinTin from time to time, but one comic thatI really love is a big portion of Donald Duck. What can get you in good mood, when your life feels miserable? Yes, someone that encounter the miserable circumstances all the time. Thats a bright spot, peoples!
  24. Wonderful, now i know better. But, when do I know I have achieved credits worthy a topdomain? Thanks for your explanation, time and help.
  25. PS3 is the console that have more power, more tech to bend. When are we going to see a game uses the maximum power of the seven-cells processor? One cool feature is that you can put a linux yellowdog in the machine if you like.By putting a linux yellowdog in PS3 is like putting a blender in your car. There arn't so many titles for the PS3 console, but more to come.Sony have a big leap to catch up to the market leading microsoft, now speaking about how long time the console have been on market, gametitles and features. But PS3 are expanding and catching up, and have made awesome achievements soon becoming one years old. One cool PS3 title are The eye of judgement, comes with a cam, board and a starter deck with 30 cards. The cam scans the board when putting cards thatappear on the screen as monsters, armies and fortress. I want to see microsoft competewith a similair game to that as sony competes for facemapping feature in vegas.Choose your console with your heart not for brand or tech is my advice.
