German google default Ie And Firefox Layout Differences When I enter google search it changes the domain automatically to .De (German domains) and shows German version of that website. wow virus World Of Warcraft Spyware Something was messed up with my computer and so my mom took it to the IT manager in her office to check it out. He said that wow had given my computer a virus and that was why the computer wasnt working. He said something from one of the patches was a virus but it was really strange because the "virus" somehow made it so that sound and some wifi networks do not work. This is really weird. Is this even possible. Pc Shuts Down After A Few Seconds Pc Shuts Down After A Few Seconds Not to hijack the thread, but I'm having a very similar problem. My pc shuts down at different times, more frequently now, a few days later, then it did in the beginning. The first day this occured (sunday), it would shut down after windows started, while loading startup programs or a few minutes later while browsing the web. It would power up then shut back down moments later a few times before I could use it again without problems. It then worked fine for the rest of the evening. Happened a handfull of times for the next two days or so, but not regularly. I had a busy week, so I decided to wait and see if it worked itself out, and if not, I would look into the problem over the weekend. It worked only once in safe mode, only once from the last working configuration, and most regularly in normal mode. Last night (thursday) it crashed 3 times with bluescreens, then ran chkdsk. It got about half way through, and the computer shut off. Then it started again, got all the way through chkdsk, and the computer restarted normally. Howevever, despite my network connection being 'connected', there was no internet, and no icon activity. Resetting the router did nothing, and when I tried to repair the connection, it said something about not being able to. Now it shuts down before windows even loads, either before bios or right before / during the login screen, at completely different times. Every once in a while (after 10-20 tries) I'm be able to get it to the desktop, but it shuts down right after. Sometimes, the lights will go on and the system will start up, but nothing will happen the monitors will stay off and it will sort of 'freeze.' no shut down, but no noticeable activity. Sometimes the mobo screen comes up, then nothing. Just sits there without shutting down. I should mention that there's no error beeps, and the shutdown is sudden, always at different times. I'm going to try clearing everything of dust, checking all the connections, rotating my ram sticks, and alternating my power source. I tried booting from my windows disk to run a repair / recovery, but unfortunately all I have is an old XP CD without SP2, so it doesn't recognize my raid. Unfortunately, I can't find the slipstream CD I burned with SP2 integrated. Does anyone have any insight / possible fix?
