It is quite interesting to me how negatively we as a western culture feel about death. It is an inevitable part of life, a part which every single person (may vary depending on your religious/philosophical belief system) must at one time or another go through. So why is it that we pretend that it is not there? We as a society attempt to not believe in death. We are constantly trying to find new ways to extend our lives and live longer than the average person. It is incredible to me that we see death as such a shock. Now, I am not saying that it is easy. Death can be one of the most painful things that an individual related to the deceased has to go through. It can be heartbreaking and painful, sometimes unbearable. But it is a natural part of life. I have lost my share of friends/family to this concept of death. I am not a heartless monster saying that all we need to do is buck up and not show any emotions when someone close to us passes away. All I am saying is that we (in retrospect) embrace death as a natural part of life. As for the whole death clock thing... Completely pointless. All that they really are are surveys reflecting your life expectancy according to your current life styles. People who actually take these things seriously...Well, I feel sorry for you. In my opinion... In the time that it takes to fill out a "death clock" on the INTERNET, you could spend time talking to your children, or helping someone else who is in need. All thought you may not know how long you have to live according to some teenager's survey, you will not care. "Death makes life worth living." -reply by Jedd

problem with logonWindows Xp Freezes At Welcome ScreenI have basically the same problem. I have a passworded account (admin), and a non passworded account. My computer will freeze at the login screen, however if I can quick with my password I can sometimes make it to my desktop. I have found that by opening task manager and hitting end process on SYSTEM it doesn't kill SYSTEM, and stops the freezing (I know this sounds weird and I have no idea why I thought of doing it). However, you have to do this every time you log on, and it also has a major negative effect, my sound went away. The sound device is still working "Properly" and all that other stuff. And I have reinstalled the driver to get it to work again, and I have gotten the sound back, only to find that I am still freezing and need to go ahead and kill SYSTEM again, and lose my sound until I reinstall the driver for the pleasure of hearing only the login music and then losing it again due to my obscure prevention of the freeze. I have also tried going on the non-passworded account. This one had sound when the other had lost it, but it quickly froze, and I am again stuck. I don't suggest killing SYSTEM, I'm just saying its what I do just to use my computer. Also I found that if you can get your password in, moving the mouse around erratically during the load somehow increases your chances of completing the login. I'm gonna try some of these solutions and see if any help -reply by sameprob

Wow, you have that backwards. All PS3 consoles come with a hard-drive, which not all Xbox consoles do, and Xbox has a 4 player limit, PS3 has 7. The PS3 has wireless rechargable controllers too, not battery packs.The game on the 360 are decent, but PS3 games are way better in terms of quality and content.The 360 is more expensive in the end, with extra add ons and annual fees. -reply by Varkeil

Intermittent connection to FTP serverCan't Login To Ftp [resolved]I am registered to use the free Geocities web space offered. Using several FTP clients does not affect the problem... Sometimes I am allowed to login, sometimes I am not. Authentication correct on all occasions. So I wait a day or so and am then able to upload again.Seems odd that no-one publishes the rules. I can live with them or move as the case may be. Pretending to offer a service is the worst of all worlds. Games are a waste of time but not really. Video Games Are A Complete Waste Of Time, Face It!Games are becoming a waste of time for me. I grew up in the gaming generation. The nintendo was my first gaming system. When I was a kid, I didn't want to do anything else but go home and play super mario 3 all day long. 21 years later, I still game! Having a xbox360, ps3, wii, psp and ds helps my cause alot more. From being addicted and not going to school and now playing in moderation for 1 hour a daym I realize gaming is a double edged sword. It can be a time killer or a fantasy world. The gaming generation is becoming more immersed so that you must live in the game through online rpgs or play 20+ hours to complete it offline. Booting in yahooYahoo! Protocol: Part 11 - Booters IntroductionAs I have been in yahoo chat rooms for many years it has gotten worse with the punks using booters to remove people from the rooms. I don't know why Yahoo don't fix this. I have been going to a place called Digital Space Traveler where you absolutely cannot boot because they use a completly different kinda set up. Why don't Yahoo contact the owners of this site and see what they are using to where maybe they can use the same thing to weed out all the booters and bots. Oh I forgot to mention...There are "NO" bots up there either. I write to Yahoo abuse all the time and I always get that reply telling you how you can put them on ignore and all this garbage and it don't work. There are programs out there that by-pass yahoo's ignore button. And the ignore button don't stop booters!, I know this as a fact! Yaho has the worst anti-abuse program on the inter net, unless they are threatend by the law or courts. The worst place to get hit by booters is the Kentucky and Tennessee chat rooms. The rednecks in there think they own Yahoo chat and boot you out if you don't think, talk, be nasty and rude like them. I use to build booters and a average computer savy person can build these. Yahoo needs to change thier system to where booters are useless. There are ways! Like I said before, Digital Space Traveler is a "MUCH better place to talk then Yahoo. No bots, No booting progran will work on there...Its been tried with all booters made to date and nothing works. The owners are the only ones that can remove you because there are actual real people in there 1/2 the time to help, solve problems, and to get rid of people that harrass others. Its 99% voice chat in Digital Space Traveler with a moving avatar, but you can send what they call a text message (instant message) and talk that way. Body Worlds WAS AWESOME INSIGHT TO OUR BODIES!!!!body worldsMy husband and I took our two daughters to see Body Worlds yesterday. That was quite the experience I never thought I'd get the chance to see. During my Massage Therapy schooling, we were required to have a certain amount of anatomy labs. I didn't mind the labs as long as the body parts were intacked. But when they took a 2 inch cross section of the thoracic (Upper Torso), it had pieces of the heart, liver, lungs, esophagus, etc that ran through that section. It was interesting to see the cross section, but then the lab instructor decided to start poking and pushing it around, and I nearly lost my stomach. Not to mention the smell of the formaldaihide to preserve the bodies, is the most disgusting smell. Don't ever eat lunch and then go to anatomy labs! However, to see the bodies on display through plastination at BodyWorlds was perfect. You really got to examine the insides and see what they really look like without the overlying skin. They are still every bit human and a person with or without their skin. Also to see the difference between a normal and smokers lungs and hearts. The smokers leg was the grossest part. For my career field, it really helps put a larger light on the subject and gives a much larger perspective. GO SEE IT IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE. I only wish we could have had more time. If this is so, and this is normal process of things, would not at one time the planets have been closer together? TS ONLINE RULES!!In my country, it has ended since early 2008 because of the suckness of the game management. I really love this game. Its fun and addicting.
