I upload all phpbb2 files to my webspace with dreamweaver. And then run install/install.php but the install page not show up. Only disordered coding Is it because I didnt upload with ftp software?

I heard phpbb2 has some security flaws.Is it crucial?Well, since phpbb is popular and free, I think I would choose it.Thanks for you guys!

Yes, I know vBB and IPB are both very powerful forums.But, both of them are costly for me. I dont mean their not worth it.Can't offer the money to get both forums to compare. Just kidding. Sure you can test their demo online for 24 hrs. But I think for most people free forums like phpbb are just enough.

thanks for help! Well, I am not a totally windows dummy. I know basic tips or tricks about XP. 1. sometime windows preview would make some video files or graphic files cannot be deleted but what about an empty folder which all files removes or deleted. What process would still there for an empty folder. Maybe winXp just stupid about that? 2. I always show all hidden and system files, so there are no hidden files left. 3. No suspicious process found. Ofcause I can delete it in safe mode. I just wonder is this a flaw of WinXP? Do you mean the DELETE DOCTOR? Is this program delete files by scheduling them for deletion upon system restart? There is no much infomation about it on their website. Hmm, if there are better ways, I prefer not use unknown or immature programs.

It happened to me several times. When a folder is already empty, but still can't delete it.Which says something about other user is using it. Yet I am the only user on my PC.Anyone knows why is it? And how to deal with it?

My choice would be mySQL. Simply because it is simple to learn, to use. Less is More. Simple is better.

Yet vbulletin is faster and more reliable)So I need some opinion about which one s better?about pros and consOr, is there any other better free forum you guys recommend? No wonder google so successful.I heard from lots of people that google's adsense is good.So I applied to their adsense program 3 days ago,yet I still did not get any reponse from them.Anyone knows about how long it takes?Well, I am new about net advertising. Dont know much about it.
