  10. Windows vs LinuxArmy Computers Being Infected By The Conflicker WormI was a programmer/analyst in a Windows platform for 14 years (from DOS 3.2 through Windows NT, BASIC to .Net). The company I was at during my last programming gig used Linux Fedora for one of it's file servers (because it was so secure [this was an aerospace firm with international military contracts]). Long story short... Learning Linux was no more difficult than learning the first version of Windows. I switched to Ubuntu Linux about 3 years ago and never looked back. I'm now doing website design with this FREE/SECURE operating system and excellent tools. I'm really being negative toward Microsoft or Bill Gates, but DOS (and everything it spawned) was built off an original kernel that was not DESIGNED to run in a network environment (thus all the "service packs". Linux, OTOH, WAS! Bill G. Should do everyone a favor and redesign the Windows kernel from the ground up to INCLUDE NETWORK SECURITY from the GET GO! -reply by rationalokie
  11. If you are going to write something in regards to grammar, academic writing, and the English language in general, you should probably make sure your writing is better. You have run-on sentences, misspelled words, bad grammar, and poor punctuation throughout this post. Perhaps we should blame ourselves before we blame text messaging.

  13. i think you canLoving Someone On The Internet?I think it might be possible to fall in love online. It just depends on the people and how long you talk to them online. for instance, I met alex online about 6 years ago. I was 14 and he was 15. We talked about simple things here and there and we both had webcams and mics so we talked constantly. he became one of my closest of friends. it was when I was about 17 and had too many failed relationships that I started thinking as to why I wasn't feeling too deep for my boyfriends...And the one thing that popped into my head was maybe that I was already in love.. when I talked to alex he admitted that, he too, had several failed relationships and believed that he was already in love... and alas, our relationship started... I'm now going on 20 and he's going on 21, he lives over 4,000 miles away from me and he's coming to visit me next year! <3 and for some reason I will never know why, I already know that I love him. -reply by Tibi
  14. Just the words I needed...Keeping Faith In Times Of Trouble? This quote is really inspiring. I think that if alot of people were to read this article, they'd be better off in certain situations and circumstances... I also wrote down the scriptures so that I can go back and read them so that I can have more and better understanding. Also I was wondering if you had any articles on youth often getting (werry) don't know if I spelled that right... I know alot of young people often face troubles of growing up alone, relationship problems, and of course as you mentioned, financial problems, I myself am facing some of these challenges.. I'm constantly angry, I hardly ever smile, and my finances are just getting the best of me right now. My sisters often say don't stress about it cause God will no more on me than I can bear and that he's also testing my faith. They also said that he has a Blessing In store for me BIGGER than I can imagine.. Sometimes I often feel like giving up but I know that's not the thing to do or the way to go because I know that God is with me at all times.. But once again, this quote was really inspiring.. -reply by Samara

  17. Hi, my way on my noob account (where I havent got any good skills so I do this, the only requirement is being a member) Just go to the tree gnome stronghold, if u don't know where it is look on the world map. When you get there head north til u get to the grand tree then, head a bit more westerly but still goin north till u get to a small enclosed area where the are two small ponds and swamp toads are all over the floor. Pick up the swamp toads util you have a full inventory then bank them at the ban in the grand tree. Do not use the bank beside the yews/mage tree and farming patch it is further away so takes longer! Keep until you have about 3k, like 2-3 days depending on how long you play for and they sell for 358gp ea, so you will end up with over 1m in 2 days A better, more entertaining way to get your money and stats up is to kill vampires in the haunted woods on the way to port phasmatys and pickup the vampire dust they drop. It will sell for 586gp ea Thnx, I hope I helped someone, free to add me on rs my username is lucy007007. Ask any questions u want about that mini-guide if ya don't get it -reply by TehCool
  18. animal testingA Debate On Animal TestingAlthough animal testing has its negatives it is important to the; doctors, patients, and people because, The use of animals in medical research and safety testing is a vital part of the quest to improve human health?? Without animal testing, there will be no new drugs for new or hard-to-treat diseases. So, I strongly believe that animal testing is a scientific process of testing products and medicine on animals. However, a lot of people have negative feelings about animal testing, because what happens in animal testing is that some of the animals that are being tested on may or may not die in the process of being tested on these commonly known products like; Cover Girl?, Neutrogena?, Suave?, Vicks?, Lysol?, and Clorox?. These products all have been tested on animals so when people use them they won?t be harmed during the use of the products.I want people who think they know ALOT OF about animal testing to read thisWithout animal testing we would have to the Blue Babies Blue...Helping babies with heart defects. Without that discovering who the heck knows were we would be in the medical stages. And that was tested on animals trying to see how giving these poeple knew hearts so that they can have babies without it doing it to there babies. So really Animal testing has made its possible everyone should be thankful. For the medicine they take like VICKS which is an animal testing product or CLOROX,Lysol(wipes, liqid, disenfect)So, if your really against animal testing an u use one of these products your all hypocrites. -reply by trina

  20. Natural TobaccoNatural TobaccoDoes anyone find it odd that most of the OLDEST people on Earth have smoked tobacco most of their lives (usually in excess)? It seems that NATURAL and additive free tobacco is pretty safe as long as you eat decently (avoiding bad foods that also contain crap). It seems most of the oldest people on Earth smoke like chimneys and some even can drink younger folks under the table. There is more to the story than meets the eye. -reply by Censorship Sucks Ball
  21. Selling a new game.Whats it worth?Selling Used Games At EbMy bro wants to sell his PSP game Star Wars Battle Front, it came out like two months ago and he wants to sell it to ebgames but we don't know how much they would give him for it or if an instore credit is worth more than the actual money itself. Also the plastic casing comes apart from the game even though it still works perfectly and can be repaired at home we worry it may lower the retail price. Please reply. -reply by Taylor
  22. chupacabraWhat Is A Chupacabra? On Thursday, March 19th while driving on Hwy. 186 from Port Mansfield, Texas towards Raymondsville, Texas in the late afternoon with my wife, I saw what I first thought was an armadillo crossing the highway. It had a large head with pointed snout and larege ears. As we approached it became apparent it was no armadillo. I then thought it was a ciyote, however like none I had ever seen. The fur was black and its' head was large with big ears and a stocky chest. It weighed about 40 lbs. I estimated. This was the ugliest, mangy ciyote I have ever seen or some kind of hybrid. My wife agreed, saying, " That was no ciyote." Mike Matheny
  23. THIS HAPPENS TO ME TOO!System Does Not Detect Dvd/cdrom DriveI have this exact same problem! You see, my computer was one day acting all faulty, so I restored it to facotry settings, and then suddenly, every so often, my DVD drive would disappear, or think it was strictly a CD drive!! I can still open it, but other than that, the computer won't even show me an icon of the drive when it's not working. It's frequent on and off traits are also really annoying, since every so often when I watch a movie on the laptop, it can suddenly disappear...Another side problem is that my computer, every so often, shuts itself off every few days/hours/. >.< A major pain in the *bottom*, especially when doing something quite important. But, anyhow. Can anyone help me?-question by ConradVeidtOTAKU

  25. Sending attachment optionalForm To Php Mail. AttachmentHello, I'm attempting to cobble together a Formail that sends contact form information (from the form on the site) and an image attachment directly to the email address I've designated, rather than upload the image to my server for me to find and download. I've tried the script above and it works perfectly for the image attachment part, except that it makes sending an image mandatory because there is no "null," if you will, file extension provided for. So when I try to send the form without attaching an image, it errors out. Do you happen to know the code I could add so that it will allow for no file attachment and still process? Thank you.
