I feel for you I'm only 16 but I've been in a long distance relationship for over 2 years. I lovemy boyfriend with all my heart; He says he loves me and sends me BIG messages on myspace of how he loves me and etc etc... I always acuse him of cheating and he flips out and says he is not cheating but how do I know that?EXAMPLE: one time he yelled at me and I got upet and broke up with him and 5 mins later I took him back because he said he only wanted me. Maybe for those who dontVideo Games Are A Complete Waste Of Time, Face It!If you are having fun doing something I don't think it is a waste of time at all. Real life does get a bit boring every now and then and sometimes it's nice to have a means of escape just to take the edge off a little bit. I am a full time college student and I have plenty of friends and a girlfriend, but sometimes it is fun to just chill when you hit a lull in class work and you want to have a little fun to turn on the xbox360 or ps3 and play an hour of Halo 3 or maybe some Metal Gear Solid. If you think video games are a waste of time you have to include watching movies and tv in general as well. Atleast video games are interactive instead of just sitting and observing. Because video games are becoming more and more complex, they require a lot more thinking and better coordination. Video games are just as if not more intellectually stimulating as board games or any kind of puzzles. Take Halo 3 multiplayer for example...The best players are the smartest players. It is completely strategic and figuring out ways to outsmart your opponent is the only way to win. For me and my friends, video games are also a social medium and a fun way to all do something together. 4-18-2009 Anyone who really wants to know how secure the methods are, should take the time to read Peter Gutmann's views---imo, he's still the leading authority, and by reading how it all REALLY works, instead of assuming that every program will always sufficiently do the job at hand, you have a hands on type feeling of what is going on in our hard drives---In fact some drives have programming built into them that may prevent 'erase' programs from being fully implemented and applied correctly... What I walk away with out of his views are, today's modern drives have a much higher density than they used to, so recoverability (especially after re-writes) becomes increasingly difficult even for the most advanced of forensic tools---older drives are incapable themselves of being able to read or write from an EXACT location, so the space in between tracks was much wider (that's why older drives the same physical size couldn't hold as much) so this means that it was possible to recover data after (some reported to be over 100) rewrites... What it boils down to is magnetics, and magnetic ranges being able easy to predict, and through using sort of 'reverse engineering' calculations it be possible to piece data back together---this is of course easier with old drives, and very tough with newer drives as there is virtually no track space in between...Writing your disk with simply 1's, 0's, or even a combination of, isn't going to create the same magnetic resonance as genuine data will, so the method by which the drive itself stores your information (each drive may use a different encoding scheme) has to be targeted and 'typical' encoding streams used... help me fixInternet Connection Sharing ProblemsHi, ok this is my problem I have a motoq9h and I connect my internet through internet sharing to my desktop. Before, this works out fine until 2 days back I decided to connect it through modem connection. I created a new connection for this but was not successfull as I did not know all the settings but I hav setup this modem connection as default connection. And if you go to internet explorer and in connection tab in that small window virtual or dial up connection & where add button etc etc is there. Actually there usually appears two option before like "realtek lan connection" or "connection 2" which is my internet sharing connection but now both have disappeard and I cannot chose "conection 2" anymore as there isn't any and when I click the add button it leads me back again to setup a new dial up connection. Now when I open fresh internet explorer it opens up my homepage but my mobile after a while shutsdown & restarts on its own. Thus terminating the connection. I also want to tell u that I have formatted my hard disk and install a fresh windows just to fix the problem but same problem in the virtual & dial up window there is no option to choose . Bottom line is I want to make my internet sharing connection I.E. Connection 2" in internet explorer. Norton: YouDont Get Norton Internet SecurityI've been a loyal Norton customer ever since my first computer about eighteen years ago but, after spending two days trying to get Norton Internet Security 2009 to install and work correctly, I quit. Or, more accurately, to quote Donald Trump (and this is the only time I'll ever do so), Symantics, you're FIRED. I'll finally just use the free McAfee Suite that Comcast provides. It took about four attempts to get NIS 2009 to install (as it's apparently not compatible with other Norton products) and then that installation evidently wasn't a good one and I had to do it again after using their removal tool to purge all Norton remnants. The next installation seemed to be working fine, and I was able to run an update and complete a quick can and a full scan. Then my computer started acting erratically (BSOD, diverting to safe mode, etc.) Unfortunately, one can't access and delete NIS 2009 in safe mode, so getting rid of it wasn't easy. My final Norton experience was using their removal tool to purge all Nortain remants again, only this time they're going to STAY purged. -reply by James
