youtube and other videos freeze even in small screenOnline Films Freeze In Full Screen ModeI have a brand new HP laptop with Windows 7 and for the first time in several years and several laptops, I can't watch a video for more than 5 seconds without it loading, or buffering and stopping for a long time, the starting, only to repeat over and over! It really does workHard Drive Freezer TrickI just tried the freezer trick and it worked for me. I have a 500GB Seagate Agent Desk external hard drive. I have only had the hard drive for about a month and only put about 1.5GB of music on it. The drive was not detected by my computer. I wrapped the hard drive in a paper towel then put it in a plastic ziploc bag and then placed it in my freezer for 30 minutes. After I plugged it back in it took about 2 or 3 minutes for it to power up. It worked for about 5 minutes which was long enough for me to retrieve and files I had stored on the drive. It is now dead again. Hope this helps anyone in need.

Most times when I get mad, I really get mad and I don't want to just at times I just loose it. I want to keep my self control and at times about the little stuff I can, but I have found that talking to a couple of my friends that I have lately become close to helps me the most. They usually give me some good advice and I try and do it like read a chapter out of my bible and read a chapter and then just watch a movie without any violence or anger type things and then try and relax the rest of the day. This probably won't mean much since I'm only a freshman but I try and I know I have anger problems its just I can only hear it from myself. I play sports and I'm very competitive and most the time I'm a good sport, but I go to a christian school and lots of people there are good people and I'm glad I have that surrounding but just because I'm surrounded by those persons that doesn't help all the time. Sometimes you just have to get away and do something just for you. Or just go for a nice long walk and enjoy the senery. Thats what I do because I can't drive yet. Stay cool -reply by Vanessa

Fixing screwed up windows OS from a live CDFile Manager In Puppy LinuxTo sort out the screwed up windows OS from a live CD I used an INSERT LINUX live (O=or boot) CD. I downloaded & burned the *.Iso file whilst working from "puppy linux" live CD & saving the "puppy personal settings" files to a USB memory stick. The windows system was left untouched for some weeks until I found the recovery option. INSERT has a file recovery program, but it is not clear in instructions for use. That was my view at the time & that was over 18 months ago! I had to get to the "This is the last chance" mindset, and try it. The points I vaugely remember are [1] if your recovery scan lists all partitions in green, they should be accessible via "puppy linux"'s file manager/explorer which copes with ntfs files [2] the sector numbers (or something like that) for partitions should follow a logical sequence. e.G. (partition A:[start - end]) for end to end partitions c:[00 -34] d:[35 - 42] e:[43 - 50] for embedded partitions c:[00 -34] d:[35 - 50] e:[43 - 50], where partition e: is a sub-partition of d: e: would normally be created at the beginning or end of the partition it is in, unless moved by user. My mistake:- I had run a delete *.* command that went beyond my intended target of "temporary internet files" into my windows files & c: directory. The windows RECOVERY option only saw the volume of my whole disk, not my 5 partitions. I think my FileAllocation Table was messsed up because I turned of my pc before all my files were deleted!

Should I really be wearing glasses?Do You Have Glasses?I went for an eye test this weekend and was told I needed glasses. I had noticed that when looking at things in the distance they were blurred and I found it hard to read things like road signs or posters which other people could see, I had found myself squinting quite a lot. When I had them tested I explained all this and she did the test and said the problem was the opposite of what I thought. The lady said I am short sighted and that I'm straining my eyes and that is why things in the distance are blurred. I was told to just wear my glasses for reading on the computer etc and by doing this my longer distance viewing should improve! The thing is I feel I can read fine and work on the computer without the glasses on! It is clearer and everything is bigger with them on, but things in the distance are even more blurred! Am I right to be wearing these? Has anyone else had the same experience? Any feedback will be appreciated! -reply by Cathy

Word Previewer ErrorOffice 2007 Document ProblemsI have the same problem. Actually Word will preview Excel docs, but gives me the error message with Word docs; Excel previews Word docs, but gives me the error message with Excel docs. I suspect it is malware of some sort (perhaps embedded in that text file you opened). If it is malware, I have been unable to detect/remove it. Hopefully I'm wrong and someone out there has an answer/fix. Paul
