Ahhh.......men men men Dealing With A Long Term Relationship Break UpI recently broke up with my bf of 4 yrs , well it was on and off, I did see a guy during our break up last year in aug, but I found out it wasnt anything, we fought alot, over stupid things, we got back together. Bought a house a few months ago, then bam, I got a cell phone for my bday and he flipped out and said we were done. And he has treated me like garbage every since then, and we talked about our relationship ending, and we agreed to stay friends since I pay for the house... Well he hasnt been much of a friend to me in 2 weeks, its all about this new girl in his life... That I found out today he has been talking to for 2 yrs and was going to go on a date with her when him and I were together still. Just sickens me that a man has that much carelessness in the world... And I'm sol of leaving cus I drained my savings to get this house ** it sucks! and its so hard** anyone got any advice

Networking Windows 7 and XP computersConnect Two ComputersI am setting up a home network using 2 WIN7 PCs and a WIN7 wi-fi Laptop. No problem.However, my wife has a XP machine and wants access to some of the files (photos) and my Outlook calender on the WIN7 machines. Can this be done by sharing drive C on WIN7 PCs and and maping those drives on the XP machine? Anyone done this?I've done it with XP machines but not with both WIN 7 and XP machines.-question by Kirk

Windows 7 KillsWindows 7 Freezes (again)I've spent more time slamming Microsoft that Popeye has slamming Spinach over the years. I did NOT jump to Vista at all. I preached loudly to never buy ANY Microsoft product until a minimum of SP1 was out. Through my schooling I have access to much Microsoft software - and when I was offered Windows 7 Professional RTM I took a copy on the spot, but I spent (on and off) about two weeks scouring the web for reviews, tips, you name it, before installing it on my old machine in the x86 version. I fell in love with this OS in about a week, then I started having old hardware issues come up again (thought they were dead - but I had been pushing the system quite a bit). I could not afford to play around with all of it myself as I had certification exams and such coming up quickly, so I broke another rule: I bought a built system from a vendor. A Dell Inspiron AMDX2 @ 2.8, with 6GB ram. It ran flawlessly out of the box, except for one nagging issue with the new Windows Virtual PC that I felt was a Dell issue. I've spent the last several weeks trying to correct that. As of last night, the system will not boot under any circumstances - I tried every possible way to do it, and couldn't get past the "Windows is Starting" screen without an dead-stop-freeze. The rep from Microsoft could get no farther either and he called Dell on a 3-way and told them flatly (as I had figured) it was hardware and they had to deal with it - he's going to call me back tomorrow to see what happened. The Dell guy made me re-do every single step I told him had already done, and I pointed out 2 he hadn't thought of - all to no avail of course. Well duh! After leaving me on hold for 10 minutes, he comes back and says that we need to take all of the ram OUT except for one stick, because...There is TOO MUCH MEMORY and it is making the system freeze up before we can load Windows/Repair/Recovery/Safe Mode/Reinstall - etc. I stalled them off until tomorrow while I try and dig up some other ideas myself first - I'm afraid that more of their clunky poking will truly fudge the system, and I'll lose a BUNCH of not backed up data (especially DOC's and my mailbox). I am now totally convinced that the whole problem lies with Dell and hardware, BUT, even after 6 weeks of screwing around with Dell etc (and talking to a few know-nothings at Microsoft before talking to a few with brains) - I still would not drop Windows 7 for love nor money, and the tenacity alone of a couple Microsoft guys to get this resolved has gained the company some points back with me. -reply by loren sanders

wireless keyboard/mouse hangsMouse And Keyboard Not Responding...Replying to WeaponXI had a MS wireless keyboard and mouse hang up issue running XP Professional. It worked great at first. I then installed a wireless router for my laptop and repositioned my PC from under the desk to the side of it. It wasn't until much later after being frustrated beyond belief that I realized that placing the wireless router on top eof the PC case is not the thing to do. Now that I have moved thewireless router away from the PC the wireless keyboard and mouse areback to working properly. I have subsequently noticed that even puttinga cell phone near the mouse will cause a hang up. Hope this hlps. -reply by Bill

Fearless Fearless books.I've read a couple- what I've been able to obtain. I actually find the book series quite amusing and worth adding to one's light-reading book list. Of course, this book series is mostly a female read- though males should feel free to read it as well- but it's main character is a girl heroine trying to understand her feelings and how she fits into her surroundings. Lets say she's dense when it comes to relationships and girly items, but she's a kick-shin fighter whose abilities are also her greatest weakness. For guys, I suggest basing the reasoning on the great fights, and girls, well we all like adventure and getting to read about someone we can "all relate to" on some level (also, the whole "un-embarrassing" factor prevalent in this book is a good plus- I mean, not being afraid to say something embarrassing is something not many people can do with dignity) -reply by Bluevibes

15 pin VGA cableVGA Monitor Cable ProblemsHello everyone, I have a 15 pin vga cable that is like 4-5 FT long, when my computer was close to my TV I would connect my computer with TV without a problem, now I moved my computer to another room and bought another VGA 15 pin cable that is 16Ft long, when I connect my PC with the TV I get a message "NO SUPPORT". The short cable works the long cable doesn't work (they both have 15 pins and look identical to me) by the way the long cable works on my monitor but not on TV. norton sucks it takes forever for my computer to load and it doesnt find all viruses and trojans. I installed kaspersky 2010 and what a difference. I ran a scan and it found a some viruses and trojans. My computer starts right up not a real long time. I think norton is a memory hog. It is said that watching TV is a waste of time, some say books are a waste of time, some morons even think sport is a waste of time.After almost dying at the age of 15, I've decided that there is no waste of time... Although I must admit I felt stupid that I was playing Halo at the time a fire was burning towards us and would destroy the entire town on Black Saturday, not just where I lived though, but in many other towns such as Marysvillle, Flowerdale and Kinglake.So basically, there's no point in worrying about wasting time, just enjoy your life. Video games are simply another way for people to relax, like everything there are benefits to this but can also be done to excess. There's no point worrying about how everyone acts and behaves, while it is better that things like videogames are played in moderation won't stop people from behaving in a different way.Just because you play video games you don't have to become a fat tub of lard.
