other computer doesnt find printerSharing A Printer Over LANwhat happens if other computer does not find printer? it also doesn't find/show shared folders over the network either. On the host computer with windows xp, I have file sharing enabled. I have printing enabled. I tried renaming, recreating home networks. It still actually feels that I am not able to reach the network with the second computer through wireless network. the printing over the network worked fine, until ISP brought new modem and new router to replace old ones. Now things seem to be messed up. It seems like there must be some setting be changed on the router, but I'm not sure what that would be. host computer is connected directly to printer via usb and second pc is laptop connecting through wireless adapter. Router is netgear and series, don't have model number now. any help would be appreciated Ed

I am not in a mood to add fuel to the fire of argument of whether Microsoft Corporation alias Billy is indirectly helping the Antivirus company to promote their products by desperately putting some bugs in their OS; but then again Linux are also not free from virus either (well, in true sense I have minimal idea on Linux). I know two of my closest friends who have never used any antivirus since the day they have bought PC in their home (at least more than 6/7 years). But they have a habit of formatting their PC every fortnight...! And one of them uses recklessly going to any damn site you can think of. While the other mainly play games (in fact, that' the reason why he bought PC!) and when one game is finished through all the stages, he makes a clean format... And inspite of having a 'bit' oldie machine than mine, the games run awesome in his system! Fun apart; if one likes to use a free AV, my suggestion will be for AVAST over AVIRA and AVG. B'coz AVG consumes more resource (20-27%) than AVAST while on-demand scan is running, while on the other hand you probably don't get on-access protection with AVIRA. Final verdict - if you don't have a live internet connection, you can still update AVAST (well it's true for AVG also - though cumbersome) by downloading the update file from some cybercafe/friends' home/office/etc. And installing it into your system. My life ended july 7 2005Movie IdeasIve gone through some crazy things the last few years and thought, it should be a movie. Well, I graduated highschool. Went to the army boot camp, came back then a few months later I got deployed to Iraq. I was there for a while and went through normal things that a soilder in combat would go through. Towards the end I ended up getting hurt, nothing seriouse, just a brroken shoulder. A month later me and my unit returned , we never lost anyone so we were all happy and excited about the money we all saved up. But before I could I could start getting everything back to normal I was put on medical hold (meaning, they wont release me from my orders until that fixed my shoulder) so I can have a surgery for when I got hurt wile deployed. During this time, I bought my first car and and fixed it up and everything. So far I had been back for about a months I did all my test and was ready to get it done. It was about a 4 days untill the sugery when I decided I needed to go to the store. Long story short. I got hit head on by a drunk driver. My car was smashed , I was smashed. Now instead I just getting my shoulder fixed and getting back to living my life. The accident made my shoulder worse, tore up my leaft arm and my knee and my head. I could even explain in detail about what was going though my head.Soo I eventully ended up having 3 surgeries, permament damage, and was left on medical hold for about 5 years, which means I was unable to do anything, or move on with my life for that matter.That 5th year, I ended up getting medically retired and 90% disabled and unemployable status because of that one person 5 years ago that decided to drive wasted. That was my life from july 2005 up to Jan 2009 I was only 19 when it happened. Its still my life now accept I'm retired. And to top that , the second car that I ever bought got rear ended by a lady on her cell phone, and it was declared totaled once again, in Oct 2009. So far, no happy ending in sight-reply by Scott

Emergency Decision- Long Term Relationship Risking it All?Dealing With A Long Term Relationship Break UpHi I am really confused and I don't know what to do. I have been in a long term relationship with my boyfriend for 8 years, although we have never lived together. I was really in love with him in the beginning, and I would do anything for him. He was my first love, my first everything. Over the years he started being mean to me and wouldnt pay as much attention to me as I wanted. I started seeing other guys looking for what I was missing, but I was always with my boyfriend. In the latest couple of years I have realized that things have switched around and I am the one that is becoming cold towards him, I don't put as much effort anymore because I feel he dosent appreciate it. I might have fallen out of love last year, because I would find myself not wanting to be with him, or preferring being alone. We would still see each other, once or twice a week. Things just kept coming back to me about how he was in the beginning, and how boring our relationship had turned. I was scared of leaving, because I would be losing eight years of my life, my youth. I am 26 now and sometimes I feel I am too old to find someone else, or I am scared to take a risk and leave him and not find anyone better. I know thats selfish, but I stood by him loving the times we were together, but being alone and with my friends alot more. I had been talking to other guys through our relationship, but it was never anything serious. A couple of months ago I found some texts messages to a girl about how they might have met over lunch, and I just didnt confront him. I let it go. Well recentlly I found more texts of another girl, and how he told her he missed her. He had known her for a long time, and they worked together for a while. I was very hurt so I confronted him. He first got mad for checking his phone, and then he never admitted to doing anything wrong. Supposedly they were just friends. Friends don't text each other "I am thinking about you". "Call me" I felt hurt and betrayed that I put up with so much and was willing to give him my life because I thought he was so innocent and perfect, and little did I know he wasnt that innocent. He might have been inattentive in the relationship but he always stayed home and was never a wild person never talked to girls, so I thought he would never. I was very hurt, and I told him I needed time away from him. We are on a break, and I thought I would be more hurt than I am but I am really not. I do think of our past and how hard it is to leave it behind. Its been so many things together, but I also think about how I might have fallen out of love with him, how he might be having a relationship with someone else, how he dosent give me enough attention, and how he hasnt proposed after eight years. I know we don't have as much money as we would wish, but I think that when you really love someone you will do whatever it takes to get married. I always held resentment for that, and then I realized I didnt want to marry him. I was scared. So know I met another guy that I have been talking to for a while as a friend. This new guy seems to be nice, I am just so scared of letting go of the past and taking a chance. I am scared of staying alone, or loosing the best thing that will happen to me with my long term relationship. What if I leave my boyfriend and I stay single and he finds someone else? I am scared, and I don't know if to forgive him for talking to another girll and go back to where we were, or drop it and move on. I havent been happy with my long term relationship for long, I might have been too demanding butI really want true love, love that you can't live without each other, fairytale love. He said thats not true life, that it dosent exsist, and I don't know if it does or not I just want to be a happy. Should I forgive my long term boyfriend knowing that I also talked to guys during out relationship? Or should I give myself an opportunity with my new friend. Please give me advice, I have been a week apart from my long term relationship no call no text no nothing. I told him to give me time, but I expected him to at least try and get in contact with me or told me he missed me anything. He might have wanted a break too, but I honestly feel like he loves me. He said he didnt know what to do without me, that he was sorry and that something like that would never happen again. If he apologized, if because he is guilty. I don't know, I havent been a saint but I don't feel that I cheated emotionally like he did. Pleeeease help me I would reallly appreciate your advice.

Microsoft designers understood in great detail how XP would perform with 4GB of RAM. Many XP systems were using 4GB of RAM the day they went into service. The fact that the average user did not have access to such systems is irrelevant. When Microsoft states that a particular OS supports a specific size of RAM it means that it has been tested with that configuration. Some 64 bit server operating systems support no less than 2TB of RAM. That is over 2 trillion bytes. The system could theoretically handle more but that was the largest that was practical to test. When it becomes practical to test with more RAM the number will be raised. Lack of commercial hardware is not a serious obstacle to testing. Gmail is just brilliant in this case as it sends from the other account server. Now a days we see messenger embedded in the mail interface but only Gmail has the option to save the conversations. But I don't open Gmail just because it eats out my time freezing my system all the time. So its better to use Gmail on fast networks.
