Energy and matter are interconvertible and limitless. They are being constantly converted to one another. There is no actual wastage of energy. But we have to find ways to convert other forms of matter into energy. Otherwise we may use up all our resources before we do that. Anyways green is the way to go. The faster the oil companies realise it and channelise their resources to other better and green sources of energy the better it would be for all of us.

Austrailian Teen Got Youtube To Pull Videos From Their Site
srujanlive replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
Yeah I read that. But removing copyrighted material is not an otion for youtube as it thrives on such material. If it starts doing that, lots of users are going to be diverted away from youtube as it would require prior approval and checking if it is copyrighted video or not. Those videos would anyway end up on other sites. To remove copyrighted videos when notified is a better option. Viacom is just trying to bully youtube. But youtube is no napster -

Nice one though impossible. Yeah it would require limitless energy to make.. But cancelling all the friction???????? That would require something else. -
Is Democracy The Best Way To Govern?
srujanlive replied to amit nigam's topic in Science and Technology
Democracy like it is in Switzerland is probably the best sort. Where they allow all citizens to vote for/against a bill to make it a law. In countries like India there are obvious cost constraints for a such a mechanism. When we reach 100 % literacy, with 100% bandwidth coverage, perhaps such a democracy would be ossible in India. With a much lower cost , that is. -

We can only predict what the future might be but not exactly how it will be. Like we can only say there will be more intelligent computers and home consumer electronics, thinner tv screens more efficient and green electronics and cars. yeah some of them may be flying too. But we can't exactly predict how they will look , or how they work or when they will happen. Yeah also, world would be a much dangerous place to live in.

Well till recently AMD would have been the preferred one. But with Intel core 2 Duo, Intel has one upped AMD. What irks me more is the inability of AMD to bring a better processor fr these many days. I have always liked AMD and i cant wait till the next Barcelona. THis is supposed to be AMD s answer to core2 duo and core 2 duo quad. Considering their on chi controllers and usually lower power consumption hope they make good of their claims.

NOD32 is the most lightweight non intrusive easy to use antivirus there is or ever can be. Updates several times a day as and when neede. Its developers are often the fastest to detect and patch viruses. And it ranks much above mcafee and norton on several antivirus comparision charts. Though Kapersky many be quite as good, I hate its intrusiveness.

Bittorrent Client What is your favorite BT client?
srujanlive replied to snlildude87's topic in Software
I use Bitlord a minimal version of bitcomet.. and it rocks providing me with minimal upload rates and maximum download rates. Considering my bandwith, i couldnt have been happier. -
My antivirus firewall combo is aNOD32 antivirus and comodo ersonal firewall. Both are excellent, not much intrusive. Learn easily and take u much less memory than the McAfee and Norton or even zonealarm. Moreover comodo is free.

As much as it would like to, The US cannot control the world or what is out of it. The world has grown too big to be dominated by the US anymore. The sooner it realises it the better. As for space, it is way too large for the entire earth. So 'keep your hands off space' isn't gonna work.

It is your email that is getting a lot of spam. Gmail doesn't send it. On the other hand it does quite a good job removing all the spam.

Favorite Os? What is your Favorite Operating system
srujanlive replied to Mafian's topic in Operating Systems
I been using Windows XP since long and inspite of all the lots of problems i come across, I find it quite stable and nice to use. Recently tried Ubuntu and was surprised it detected my sound and all other drivers prior to installation. The problem is I am a home user and terminal becomes such a big headache for a non programmer like me. I would love to use the Mac but i dont think i would use it for long since i am a gaming person -
