Future Of Programming... Real Programmers Respond Please
srujanlive replied to sinthetix's topic in Programming
Man they would be expensive as of now. But in the future the prices would come down. Supercomputers are expensive. But connect a few PS3 s and u have a suppercomputer now. -
AMD processors are definitely reliable more than Intel ones upto the pentium processors. About Core 2 Duo I have not used it and i dont know how good it is. But nearly everyone seems to agree that they are better than AMD processors of the same kind. But AMD hopes to reverse it with the launch of Barcelona chip. But Intel has huge resources and money and have promised several multicore processors and more usage of 45nm technology. So only time will tell how this plays out. Another news today is that AMD plans to use on chip DRM. Man that is bad.

World's Biggest Free Email 45gb Worlds Biggest Free Email 45GB
srujanlive replied to intergig's topic in Software
No one needs 45GB of email space. What would you do with that? With gmails pop3 and smtp I can use my computer for storage of all my mails. That is 240 GB of free space ha ha. Not exactly but hope you understand my point. -
Inbox.com Or Gmail? what is the best and why? Is there something better?
srujanlive replied to Zlash's topic in Software
Gmail is definitely better. Anyways why would anyone need 2 gb of mail space these days. With several online webstorage services you dont need to store anything on the mail account. -
As long as Its homepage remains the same, without any cluttering I think Google will continue to be the best search engine. Though magazines rate searches on various aspects Google is so easy to use and provides nearl the best results for me always. Also the different search options and builtin calculator are additional assets. You just type 25 malaysian money in Russian money in google and see the result. can anysite boast of that?

Currently there are very few sites that support it. But Microsoft says it is the future. Our online visiting card. Use it to login onto any website. Supposedly Microsooft is in talks with Mozilla team over its incorporation with firefox 3 that is to be released soon.

Frih.net is another hosting site that can compete with Xisto. They give 250 MB space after just 5 posts on the forum. With unlimited databases and email accounts.

Yeah Boris Yelstin was known more for his freak nature than his presidency. But one thing I always wonder. Does Russia realy have democracy. We have only seen two Preesidents. They rule like dictators. There doesnt seem to be an effective opposition. And they are contemplating amending the constitution to give Putin another term. I ask where is the Democracy.

I had signed up for the service and it was apppproved but soon i received an email saying my site has been generating spam clicks. Well I tried to boost the no. of times ads are clicked by telling my friends to do so. And that was it. My account was suspended and I can no longer use Google Adsense. Is there anyway to reactivate the account?

3G phones supposedly have datarates upto 2Mbps . So they should be a much better option to normal GPRS connection. I have used GPRS based pphone but the connection was unstable and download speeds a maximum of 4 KB/s. It was a horrible experience but it did provide me internet when there was no other option . But it was costly too.

Never Join Any Traffic Generation Program!
srujanlive replied to mayank's topic in Online Advertising
The content should drive traffic and nothing else. That is the only thing that would last. A good site would more often than not be found and dugg or delicious-ed or stumbled upon. That would be more than enough to drive traffic to your site , wouldn't it? Anyways Content and presentation are the only reasons one browses various sites. So that is what you should be providing. Traffic generators anyway don't generate much traffic. So they are of no use. -
That is a quite cool trick. Thanks very much man. Continue providing more such tricks

Religion is apersonal belief and should be left at that. That the pther person is of a different religion should be seen as simply as that person has a different name than yours. IT just doesn't make a difference. The sooner people realise it the better. No religion states that people practising other religions are evil. The holy books are interpreted by vested interests to make it seem that way. As for Muslims and terrorism, the terrorists are only a miniscule portion who have been misguided by individuals to further their own personal agenda. Also there is a problem of conversion. In poor countries Christian missionaries have been know to give money to people wh convert to their religion. Again this is a very small portion of the Christian population. It is high time people realize that religion is a personal choice just as your hairstyle is.

Use webroot spysweeper or ad aware . Use need to use at least 2 or 3 anti spyware programs one by one for effective removal. If on windows xp u may download windows defender too. No one spyware program removesa ll spyware. But a combination is excellent.

Is It Possible To Destroy The Internet?
srujanlive replied to TeeCee06's topic in Science and Technology
Governments surely can do that. Eventually I think they would try to. But Internet would be a much powerful tool then. Also ISPs can do that. Broadband connections work these days because not everone uses Internet to watch movies or download them. But with sites like youtube becoming popular and applications like JOOST promising to change the way we look at internet, the day is not far off when streaming and downloads would be more common. Now the percentage of users using p2p and streaming on a regular basis are hardly 10% but they use more than 90% of the ISPs bandwidth. The ISP is therfore able to manage it. But inagine what would happen if the percentage of users increases which would most definitely occur. All the ISP servers would be down. Bandwidth rates would shoot u much like oil....Doomsday? Not quite... -
Well said. You can't boost your internet connection greater than what the server rovides you. But sometimes some servers do behave mysteriously. Like I downloaded Ubuntu at speeds of 140KB/s on my 256kbps connection.

Winxp, Winvista And Linux Multiboot Is it possible?
srujanlive replied to SamiFX's topic in Operating Systems
There is nothing to worry at all. I did what you are planning to do and no problem whatsoever. The partition manager that comes with Ubuntu is quite good and does its job very well. In fact I created a partition from the free space on the WIndows Vista drive. No problem at all. The only problem I had was grub starts linux preferentially while I use XP. So had to make a lot of changes and change the menu.lst on the linux OS. Otherwise the install went fine and did not affect my other OS.
