Google is on an acquisition spree. Over the last few days, it has acquired Panoromio and feed burner. What does this mean? Well Panoromio mainly was used in Google Earth to show pics anywhere in the world at the location taken while feedburner is aRSS feeds utility. But did Google make the right choice. How long is it gonna continue making such aquisitions? It has gotten into a huge legal turmoil with youtube. And it paid Doubleclick a ridiculously huge amount. Is Google gonna benefit from these takeovers. Share your thoughts.

Yeah thats very much a gmail copy. But it does allow offlines unlike meebo. So now that is a messenger standard i guess.

Saddam was never realy a threat to the US but he was not innocent. Come one , that guy was a dictator who used genocide to consolidate his power. But that was it. He never had WMDs. That was definitely a propaganda. And he surely had no relation to 9/11. That US has not found any WMD for these many years enough to show that there were no wmd in the first place. But US attacking IRAQ never really led to democracy did it. THere is only anarchy there. It would take a lot of time to settle. Democracy to Iraq could have been brought in a peaceful way. But that is not the real topic of discussion here, right? No , Saddam ws no innocent.

Alien or not, these things have captured the imagination of many a film maker and have been the fodder of several science fiction novels. Whether they are real or not , they continue to be fascinating audiences everywhere. It may be ignorant to think that we are alone in this universe but it may also be ignorant to think that an alien race would definitely be more technologically advanced than humans.

Ha Ha Microsoft would like to see Gmail that way. Since before Gmail it only had yahoo to fight and it could get away with a few MB worth of space . But Google has made it look stupid with its much better javascript based email offering a never before heard storage and chat functionality from the email itself. Yeah Gmail ate into Microsoft's userbase and would definitely count as a virus for it.

I had no such problems. What is the error you are getting? Did you set privileges for yor database in cpanel? While upgrading you are supposed to leave wp-config.php without changing or deleting.

Man when I heard Google was starting an email service, I immediately searched google and kept on searching till i found Gmail after several days. But it was only by invitation. So again I waited and waited till at last a friend somehow got an invite and sent me one. Ever since my world has not been the same. I never have to delete my mails again and I don't have to worry about spam . Gmail takes care of it. The ads have never bothered me. And when I discovered the pop3 functionality, it was the end of using my browser to check my mail. Gmail since then has continued to improve and grow in size and continues to be unbeatable. Perhaps the reason why a survey found people who use Gmail are younger , have better sex and are usually cooler.

Microsoft will certainly not do anything like that because the PC s are meant to be upgradable usable as per one's desire. Otherwise people would simpoly buy macs because with their parallelize feature they allow dual booting with Vista. Anyways Microsoft would not have many supporters. Also companies like Dell are already offering desktops preloaded with Linux. So there is definitely a market there. And it can only grow bigger. On the other hand Microsoft continues to make enemies. And few would ever agree to shut Linux out.

Woww I would love to surf. But not any opportunities where I live. So perhaps only when I travel I may have an opportunity to learn surfing. Dying to do that.

The change is athe addition of cool gmail like javascript to the google page. In the results page you get to use your other google services directly like in Gmail.
