Firstly MyCent isn't down since OpaQue made sure the upgrade wouldn't break his script. As for the amount you get, why don't you post 5 replies in the forum? Make them slightly longish like the one in this thread.. Once you get the email confirming the mycent for the day, simply give me a copy so that I can send it to OpaQue for verification Secondly, there is plenty pending since there are a few template errors that need fixing.. And as you know, every time the forum is upgraded, everything from logo to the modules (gallery, widgets, sidebar) need to be reconfigured. So bear with the "View new content" option for a little longer, It is the weekend here so I guess OpaQue would start tweaking first thing Monday morning. If you are a techie, you should register there with the same email address as ks & Xisto - Support billing I prefer two boards instead of one since it reduces the clutter of too many topics/sub forums. The logos are there but like I mentioned earlier, it has to be reconfigured by Opa and I think he will do it with the designer in the morning I personally think he should put up the member logos on KS again like it was earlier. As for the choice of boards, I think it is too late to switch the platform considering how much content is present on this board alone... But IPB is a powerful and very cool software and maybe Opa can answer your question when he comes back to the forums

ALRIGHT! So OpaQue decided to upgrade both the forums (Xisto & Asta Host) to the latest version of IPB. Let's all thank OpaQue for the wonderful upgrade which looks real wow. Currently, he is still tweaking the forum settings removing every kink possible therefore I request members to please not post in other topics regarding errors OpaQue is busy working hard on removing every error but since he is customizing both the forums, it can take a little longer. There was a Labrador pup called "Montgomery" or "Monty" who later had to be registered as "Molly".. I felt so bad for the owners but it was just so funny, they kept trying to argue saying that it was a "boy" but we had the complete support of anatomy to be sure that it was a girl lol. Oh yeah, that kid was amazing in the movie. Puppies are amazingly wiggly little things so I don't doubt you there at all Yeah, I have always been wondering about that too, firstly.. is that you? secondly, why does it seem like you were swallowing or mock swallowing a fish..

I personally own two adopted stray dogs but generally I cannot pick a favorite breed but there are a few that I can't help admire or fawn over... to name a few Tibetan Mastiff :- These guys are MAGNIFICENT!!! So huge, humble yet so royal, they look like roaring lions as adults but so damn cute as puppies. Corgi :- SO CUTE!!!! Nothing can take away cuteness from these guys.. Not to mention the fact that they are energetic yet easy to manage, I plan on getting one in the future. Bernese Mountain Dog :- Another majestic yet humble breed.. Great for families Akita Inu :- The ultimate family dog! Alaskan Malamute:- Needs no description, they are amazing

Fairly obvious question, do you prefer Corel Draw over Illustrator or is it the other way around? A friend swears by Illustrator despite it being trickier than Corel Draw. I must admit though I haven't used Illustrator so can't really comment on it, I have used corel draw to design sign boards and found it usable but not as fun as Photoshop.

Like others have pointed, the comparison is obviously between 2 different types of softwares but it is the question that shall be answered I prefer Photoshop over Corel Draw any day since the interface is much easier than Corel. Along with ease comes the obvious flexibility in colors, textures and effects Photoshop has as compared to Corel Draw but then again Corel is the best for making posters and so on... But I would recommend Photoshop for anything picture/graphics related over Corel Draw.

That is just terrible news Sheepdog, I hope your family recovers It has to be the worst feeling, to lose a pet but to lose one so traumatically can be really devastating to the owner. All kinds of cruel people exist in this world, we had an incident in our country where some moronic people poisoned 20 stray dogs in broad daylight, despite having witnesses, the car plate number and details, the criminals are to be apprehended... That is really pathetic, I hope the idiot(s) responsible for this heinous act is caught and if not put behind bars, he should be lynched. I am usually very wary of my surroundings so I always walk my dogs on open grounds keeping them away from grass and foreign objects, was the puppy poisoned in her own yard? If yes, then that is just plain wrong.. I guess owners right now need to keep their pets indoor and avoid letting them off their leashes. It is amazing how much inconvenience and pain these animals and their owners are going to go through for no fault of theirs. I hope the little pug didn't suffer May she rest in peace and try to get your sister to adopt another puppy, it is going to be hard but they need to do it in order to move on. Let's all hope that idiot responsible for this is caught real soon.

So I just heard that they are releasing a fourth installment to the already famous God of War Series and wanted to know if any GoW fans are around here. They say that the game could probably hit the shelves in September 2012 but I am not too sure since there hasn't been an official statement about the same. Despite having played all of the versions, I love the Hydra level in 1 Anyone else a fan of the game here? If so, what made you play the game and what do you like about it? Never had a chance to own a chinchilla but are they as fast as squirrels? I had a few squirrels. As for the snails, I love them had these when I was a school girl, our school used to have groups of students pick them off the school walls or classrooms so I used to bring back home many(Don't think mum ever approved of them ). Firstly can a moderator have this moved into a correct department/forum? I am not sure where to add this :unsure:So a friend decided to try a b2b software called "phpb2b". During Installation, he came across the write_file_error_and_retry problem. An earlier version got installed without a hitch but its the latest version that is causing a problem. File permissions seem to be correct yet the same error keeps popping up, recreating a sub domain did not work nor did re-adding a database and I am clueless about the software...Has anyone ever come across this error? Any solutions (Due to privacy reasons, my friend doesn't want to reveal the domain)

All you need to do is go to your settings ("My Settings") and then proceed to blogs, over there you'll see options next to the blog you created.. Add categories and new entries from there . I am adding a tutorial soon for this.

After reading the topic here, I decided to check out what other people and websites say about this situation, titles scream ?PETA sues Seaworld for 'Enslaving' Killer Whales? on other websites which was kinda bemusing because the subject itself is so multifaceted that you cannot actually point fingers at either PETA or Sea World. One must first understand that when you have an NGO or any organization started for the sake of a cause, feeling or opinion, it is going to be biased towards its cause and be negligent towards others. You are to expect this and cannot be offended at their action. If NGO 1 supports children, they might not necessary care for the adults and so on. So I believe that PETA originally started out as a true savior for all the animals who needed love, attention and safety but as time went on, like every other opinionated cause, it reached a level of fanaticism where every sense of logic and understanding has clearly left the building.Every action can be justified, Taking SeaWorld as an example, it is true that the killer whale is kept there against his will and the fact that we are the reason for them being in water parks and zoos BUT that is all that I can justify because it isnt like the whale is tied up there or forced to perform for food. Many parks/zoos have handlers that bond with their animals, animals like Tilikum are rare. Many animals also enjoy the interaction with their handlers and people, I also find it to be the best way for people to be educated about exotic animals :)Now coming to the actual topic of PETA wanting ?justice? and ?constitutional rights?, I can understand the place they are coming from but its like sheepdog said, constitutional rights are for people. But if PETA wants to treat them like HUMANS, you can rehabilitate them into working for their food, shelter and health or give them only the core basic necessities... None of the fancy stuff many animals in top notch zoos get. Of course, if I were to say this to a PETA official, I might get ?But they are mindless/helpless animals?.... Personally, I simply think they are attacking the big weights to simply earn some money in order to create more useless calendars and have more wacko volunteers or something.... The original sincerity involved in PETA is gone and you are left with only dumb idiots who have no idea what they are talking about.They could help real animals by focusing on Bangkok's flood situation or other countries where animals truly need help. Taking andresf91's example, I don't expect PETA to help the owners directly and I am not upset at them for not helping but they could enlist the animal into some insurance/health program where they make sure the animal does well in order for it to serve its masters better. Simply targeting Animal cruelty is no longer the way... Sometimes the animal cruelty is because of ignorance or incapability to provide better. If an animal were to be malnourished/ill because its owner was sincerely incapable of helping, instead of seizing the animal and putting it in a dingy scary cage, I would try to help the animal. Working with the family vet took me to different organizations and hospitals, on one of my trips, I went to Parel hospital in Mumbai... It was horrifying, this hospital takes in cases of cruelty, abandonment and is as bad as the owner... The pens are dirty, animals who are sick are around other sick or healthy animals who could get sick. Though I am not sure whether I should blame them since they do run services at really cheap prices which makes them negligent towards patients(paying & non paying) but they do receive hefty donations, have their own vet college and Govt funds... Corruption is the only thing I can think of that makes those poor animals suffer.I am a passionate animal lover but PETA who claims to be a representative for all animal lovers make me feel really ashamed of being one. Its like what Nitin said, they need to fix their priorities and focus better.

Don't panic.. I've seen this happen to a friend's sister's cam. Does the screen show up in different modes? In the case of my friends cam, the screen would show a black screen in a certain mode but actually show you the preview in other modes. I solved the problem by simply using the "reset settings" through setup but there is a button on the camera itself, there is an option to switch on/off the preview mode. I think it is called DISP or something.. I'll update the topic the instant I find something much more specific
