On he subject of removing files from your itunes library. If you dont want to delete the files of your HD you can select all of your songs (usually Ctrl + A, on win machines) and press delete, it will then ask you if you want to remove them from your computer your just your library, select your library and they are gone, but still on your computer.

Your Opinion On Dreamweaver What is it?
jimmy89 replied to SileZigns's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Dreamwever must be one of the easiest and most simple program to use. Even for people that are just starting out creating websites and HTML codes its pretty easy. The ability to use both HTML code as well as WYSIWYG editor makes the program great for people who want to graphically design as well as code a website.Other features like the sites and remote sites are very usefull for webmaster who want to easily, and most importantly quickly upload their websites to servers. The program features many great functions that automatically insert HTML code for you and all you need to do is fill in the balnks. The Flash Buttons are great as they can add simple charm to any basic website. The Snippets couldn't be any easier to use aswell, all you have to do is find the snippet you want to use and throw it in with the rest of the code, EASY! Once again Macromedia has made another great product, shame it still costs a pretty penny. -
Windows Media Player 11 is just another one in the series. I can see nothing wrong with it, but still cant see the difference between 10 and now 11.Its still pretty good, has some good features and so far has not crashed on me! Thats pretty good. Shame it only runs on XP SP2.

The Moon Landing - Real Or Fake
jimmy89 replied to sandeep1405241520's topic in Science and Technology
There has been a documentry that has had quite compelling evidence that it was all a set up and it was all fake. But as people have said, they couldn't have done all of that back then. It might just be one of those debates that will never be solved. -
man thats a pretty good job you did there. Ive been trying the same thing on my old playstation2, didn't work out as great as I had thought but still had some fun while i was doing it!Ive now just ended up moding my computer, still fun but i think that xbox would be better!

You can always rely on Macromedia Fireworks. Even though it is now run by Adobe, they are stiall calling it Macromedia Ifreworks (for now anyway). It is a great program, heaps of tutorials for those who are still a bit underprivlaged in the graphics business.A solid program, doesn't use much memory and has heaps of great features. It is such a shame that it costs so much, i just go to uni and use their copy (i didn't have to pay for that, unless thats where the fees went to :/ )

Internet Access On Airplanes. a good thing or a bad thing?
jimmy89 replied to iGuest's topic in Websites and Web Designing
WiFi is a great idea, I have to agree. But do we really need to have the Internet and computers everywhere with us. I can understand plane trips that are going from one side of the country to the other, but a bus trip? really? its only a couple of minutes that you have to go without the internet. And if you can live, just use your mobile phone, it works just as well! -
Review: Google Sketchup My review of Google SketchUp
jimmy89 replied to szupie's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Google sketup is one of the best 3d programs that I have tried. It is not like the professional CAD programs that cost you an arm and a leg. Free is great, and this program is no different! You can also put your 3d drawings into Google Earth and see them from all over the earth. Its lots of fun! Check out Australia have a look at Sydney, theres a couple of good ones.Still, the progream is very easy to use and after a bit of playing around you can work out all the features and toys to play around with. The textures in the new version are great. You can "paint" walls, floors, roofs etc and texture you want. You can even import textures (.jpg files I think) to use in the program.Lots of fun if you want to have a go at 3d CAD drawing. -
Gmail is great! Its speed and ease of use is great and you can do anything you want in it. It acts just like any desktop email software. I must say though running from a Optical Cable connection makes it open fast, but if your on anything slower, it would be a real pain for you!Overall, its great. the space is massive, 2GB is just unthinkable. Even though most of us wouldn't even think about using that much, think about all the photos, music etc that you can send over email and store, its a great idea. I also read somewhere that there is a program that can use your gmail storage space to store files. Dont quote me on this, but if that was actually the way, there is another great, also FREE online storage service.!!

The easiest way to host your own MMORPG server is to run a HTTP server. Using FTP is just going to be a lot of hard work. Sorry to disappoint you, but thats the way it is. Also, just incase some MMORPG games (like Runescape) arn't allowed to run off private servers. Most of the time, the game creators will try and block your IP.

There is no need to try and get the beta version of Visual Studio 2005 now! Microsoft have brought out their "Express" editions, which are basically free. You get most (i repeat most, not everthing is there, it still runs ok though - you can do what you need to) of the features and everything works fine. Best thing is that you dont have to pay and their is to trial - it never runs out! I have been using the express editions of Visual Studio 2005 for ages now and they work great! give them a try.
