In order to setup google name you need to edit the values in CNAME records. You can access your cname settings by logging in with your username and password on Xisto - Domains.com. Once you logged in to it check your domain name by clicking last 10 registered domains or something lke that link. You'll see your domain name and other respective details. You can edit your domain settings by clicking on edit/modify button(check this). Inside this page there is tab for CNAME records. You need to enter google mails CNAME value to CNAME records. Also you'll be asked to upload a file if you choose to verify your domain. BUt for the redirection purpose you need to enter CNAME records. If you add CNAME records then you'll be able to use "mail.yourdomain.com" redirection.If you're hosted on linux server then you can set your nameservers to : NS.COMPUTINGHOST.COM and NS2.COMPUTINGHOST.COM. So i guess ns1.computinghost.com is not in use. Check these values and try again.It'll take few hours to update and you can check the progress using proxy sites.

Cool i was not aware of Bizzclick have to check that now. By any chance they're open to small publishers ? One more thing is that Bizzclick requires manual approval from admin and they want you to generate atleast 100 clicks. I mean what the hell ? who is going to give them 100 free clicks before getting approved ? and by that how can we ensure that this is legit network ?I'm still bit of skeptical with this service. Not sure if they're here to make business or going to show google and yahoo ads behind their own ads to generate money. their clicks requirement and stuff made me say all this. With new name and other working stuff going on. I don't know opening a twitter account is priority of opaque right now. We do have xisto account on facebook and then linking these two will hardly take few seconds. I think twitter updates for important xisto announcement is better way to start this. They are not supposed to post some interesting things or so but atleast server status and other updates are fine. i don't expect much from the company social media accounts. I've multiple twitter accounts and i'm waiting for getting xisto updats. Oh well have to wait till opaque opens it.

I use friendfeed to keep eye on multiple social networks. It's really hard to keep up with too many social netwoks these days. Friendfeed updates multiple social network and that way i can even use RSS feed updates on multiple social networks. Twitterfeed has setting to do just that. Though many people will hate this concept as adding BOT to update social network is not SOCIAL in reality.I do think we should have Xisto mycents server status update on twitter account along with other xisto server status account. I mean whenever opaque makes changes it should be displayed over there.

Porn industry only showcases us what we do in real life. If not porn, people continue to have incest. There was incest before porn industry and will be there. Same goes with beastiality. Many gays/lesbians (by birth) are into this industry and alive because money that is coming in. So by discarding this industry with religious or personal moral values justifies in any way??? I don't like porn industry(reason it is getting into mainstream business) but i don't prefer to discard their living just because some random religious views or personal views against porn.

why ICANN shut it down ? i mean it becomes easy for others to filter these domain if they're on .xxx or .sex so that is one good thing for filtering software. getting porn business with other business on TLD is more headache and ICANN is not at all thinking about it in multiple views. What will happen if tommorow porn domains start to use social media for their promotion. For example, using "shetoldme.com" they can use similar domains with grammar or other mistakes but using that to point to porn site. "shesaidme.com or even shesaysso.com or many other variation that social media people are using can be abused by porn industry. I think we as internet user and ICANN is ignoring this possibility.

Ask other bloggers and forum members to use it. More they use for their blogging or other needs i'll get popular. Other than just redirection does this script offer stats and wordpress integration ? If yes, then that will help a lot. News says that ICANN killed it. I'm not in support or against it. It's just another business. Moving sexual content over such domains will infact help block such content by software which many places requires badly (commercial and family). there are good and bad sides for filtering this content but having seperate domain avoids their hijacking on other tld. so it is better to get .xxx and .sex domains. if anyone don't want to access those it becomes easy to filter the TLD. but in case of .com,.net and .org it becomes damn difficult to find such sites. Let them have their business with those domains instead of getting them in crowd of other business.

Some stock image sites use watermark(getty images) on displayed images and only person with buying rights can get image without watermark. Not sure how this is done at the same time while making purchase. I'm also curious about profile images rendered on social networks like orkut. You can't right click and save them even if they allow context menu for you to do. You'll end up saving blank image of one dot. I don't know which trick they used. Flash images can also be extracted as there are softwares that lets you do that. Music, images and content can be extracted from flash files. Those who are interested in doing that will know where to find it. But using flash will definitely help files protect from typical noob plagiarists or from people who use files/pics of others without giving credit. A year before i came across website that restricts people from copying website from HTTtracker, restricted context menu and used JS for images and restricted on most typical ways to copy the site and the stuff inside it. Not sure how they did that.

Mycents are down last 4-5 days i think and they're being credited manually so far. I'm sure the mycents we got earlier are not system calculated as they're quite low. in any case wait till admin makes any changes and updates mycent. You'll see update in mycent soon. till then just hang on cause posting on forums will not give you mycents in this downtime.

Anime studio can be used for mangas as well. but little bit of stuff here and there. ANime studio is mostly for the motion animation while manga is obviously still strips. So that difference aside, some tools are common with both these softwares. And both the softwares are paid and you need to pay a little to buy them. if you're into this seriously then buy the software worth every penny. If you want to try free software for manga then use pencil which is free software that can be used for anime and manga as well.

Ah one of my favorite band. I dont listen to commercial pop/rnb style of music anymore. But yeah i used to listen to their song all day. "The call" was my favorite song. Other than that, "backstreets back", "i want it that way", "show me the meaning of being lonely" are my favorite songs. Sad to know they got separated in between then again back with one album but unable to maintain their hype this time. ANother band "5ive" was my favorite, they also separated and are no longer producing. Statcounter have wordpress integration that you can follow for your wordpress blog. As for importing data from old counter. i don't think it's possible or is available with statcoutner. It'll not show much information like SM's hit counter but it's sufficient for your blog. Check that and let me know.

All the subdomains and TLD uses 1GB that is alloted to your acccount. It's not 1gb seperately for each subdomain. so if you use300 MB it will be counted towards monthly 1gb limit. Even your upcoming mail sent to horde and squirelmail is counted towards bandwidth. This is the reason it's better to set mailbox outside hosting account. So in short it is consistent regardless of the amount of subdomains.

These things are need to either done it in batches or one at a time. Like 1 day for making backlinks. One day for video presentation and submission. and then social bookmarking submission then article writing etc. Slowly you'll get a grip on things if you do that way. Else you can either outsource or do it in small batches.

new movie is about whiplash. whiplash is vilian in marvel comics. i'm not sure about whiplash connection with iron man. maybe someone else will show us about that. i'm going to watch movie for scarlett johnson. i think there is going to be multiple vilians into this movie. other than whiplash there will be some more action into this movie. SHIELD organization which was shown in spiderman comics is also added in iron man. so lot of story twisting is done here. can't wait to see the movie.

I heard that this is the problem with the current version. and i don't expect MS to fix this fast. they'll take their time for this. in between use nimbuzz or meebo messnger as they have multiple messenger feature. this will work it out for time being.

So far i tried using Wxpython and i must say under windows development wxpython sucks. I'm not sure why but it has lot of isssues. I found wxwidgets(C++) much better than this python fork. wish it gets it's own open source GUI IDE like visual studio. wxwidgets is one thing you can learn other than if you don't want QT's license and other BS stuff. Oh wxwdigets is cross platform and works with mobile platforms as well. There are some forks of it like wxpython and some commercial language forks. Wxwidgets has it's limits and you'll hit on walls more than QT. QT is having less steep learning curve than wxwidgets. It has GUI designer, help file and lots of tutorials to learn from in comparison to wxwidgets. I'm also interested in GUI development using Python. I figured out working with some 3rd party libs and py2exe is one hell of tool you need to use for making python scripts into executable. Keep this thread alive maybe i'll learn from this as well.

Site looks really nice.I checked with one URL and i found that when it shows short URL that page is without any css/content. You need to show some content when you redirect users to the URL page. This way you can plaster some ads to support your service. Check if your current script allows you to embed URL shortner with wordpress. If so, then code wordpress plugins and offer it to bloggers, this is one more way of getting more users and ofcourse traffic. Just want to ask you if your URL shortner allows you to have small frame at the top while redirecting ? If that is possible for you to add via existing script (maybe you need to code) then you can invite advertisers to show their ad when user uses this short URL service. Also sign up to few blogging related affiliate programs and use those text link ads or image ads to your TinyLX page. This will give you some affiliate earning boost. I'm not aware of any advertiser accepting CPM based model for URL shortner site so you need to accept advertisers manually either by asking on forums or via some other networks (craiglist/glumtree etc).

well as soviet said already in one thread that IPB 3 has some new code so opaque might have to tweak mcyents as well. that is why this will take some time. maybe may end or june will be the release of new forum skin. or even earlier than that.

This is one way to get good traffic. Also no matter which forums you join place link in signature so that members can take a look at your blog.
