MS-SQL server is really good database. And with SQLite administrator things are easy with sqlite. i'm using that small gui for sqlite which is making my work easy with sqlite. Hmm never worked with WPF and MS-SQL server before, have to try that. is it possible to use WPF with other database effectively ?

Agree that PHP is used in most of the production websites and the users are growing rapidly. Also agree with you on useless-ness of JSP and java side. It's really getting over my nerves with java. more code to debug and more errors to correct. i don't know the people who are defending java all these years, how and why. i see asp and php doing many things quickly and efficiently without much to do for testers. but on the other hand there are many things to do for java testers. seriously if anyone is inesting their time on java development it is complete waste.

I don't know how to define weak mind. Some people can't stand mind hunting aka office or corporate politics but they may stand better on other strategic things or maybe better at some other thinking. Now how can we define weak mind anyway ? For me, it's seeking less-complex-deluded and untrue concepts to avoid complexity and truth for the sake of self-bias and comfort is weak mind. Duh, don't know how many of you are actually getting what i'm trying to say here. 2.1 billion adherents are minority ? really ? sorry, it is more like when christian concepts are trashed by science and reasoning then such deluded concepts are under minority rather than religion.And to attack any religion there needs to be no-tolerance from whole religion side, but i don't see that. with time vatican changed and accepted evolution and many Christians even changed their thoughts with time still keeping their faith in Christ. so minority is about those who completely discard evolution, big-bang and inflation theory and those who don't accept science and logical reasoning proof against bible. I see very less people doing that and are in even less percentage for minority (for example, Mormons are minority cause their concepts of creator and some other are easily trashed with logical reasoning).

Well in case of Xisto - Web Hosting softaculous is broken and not upgraded as it reuires lkicense fees. so there is no way to ask Xisto - Web Hosting about it. now talking about this guide some people prefer installing latest fix on their own while some use fantastico or similar script installer. some people have issue installing and breaking things. just take case of 1and1 web hosting company. try and find auto script installer with them and try to install things with their file manager. you'll see that they're way to slow on things for installing and updating. so there is no need for such host and some people pick it for money right ? so that is why they don't get how to install some scripts.

I have to disagree. some of the strong and intelligent minds are in religion. reason is manipulation. think about it with religion you can manipulate more people than you can without help of religion. so it's not about weak mind but more of how lots of multiple manipulating minds are driving certain idea which in turn helps them manipulate each other. Religion is the concept which gives manipulated mind a place to let him try all his techniques to manipulate people. Weak minds a place to relax and avoid complexities of life. Emotional mind to have connection with other emotional people. So in short religion is offering lot of things under one concept. In many cases the very idea of god as universal creator and we're seeking him or her was first part of religion but now it is fading. People are adding more resitriction to their actions and society in the name of that creator. So this is again a manipulation which the prophets and religion creators never thought of. they wanted to make it a place for peace and relaxation, and place to avoid complexity by adding delusion. I know this all sounds confusing but this is how i started to visualize religion and minds of people. So that's the explanation i've for religion and weak minds.

That motherships story sounds like scientology and other RAELian like religion. I have to disagree with creationism going together with evolution. Creationism assumed there is creator and purpose to almost every creation. But evolution doesn't make such assumption but it explains how life is evolving which has nothing to do with universe creation and purpose. Creationism is trying to be religion like answer-to-everything and attatching a faith to it. Faith can't be measured and faith don't give rational answers. Science may sound like nihilism world but that much emptyness is there when we come to know the truth. We're no longer attributing zeus for lightening like people used to do earlier. If we start to measure things this way, faith definitely misguides rational and skeptical view of humans. But then again why people prefer faith is different story. It gives us easy way to answer, and helps us avoid depth and complexity towards our answer. That's faith and creationism for you. Creationism and religion requires pre-programming of mind to believe in supernatural universal creator but evolution doesn't expect any such criteria like that. It's there whether you accept it or not. One thing is for sure from my observation with people and so far with this social discussion is that people prefer easy way out to everything. Religion, faith and creationism provides them easy way out of things. "Pinochio frog is evoloved" or "god sent modified frog" which title looks catchy in church newspaper or even in the minds of any catholic ?

Well gmail is not good with slow internet connection. as it takes some time to understand connection is slow. then tries to load the stripped version of it. this makes it very bad for using it in places where there is slow internet connection. You can try to use it with dialup with most of the time stripped version. It's good for most of the fast connection users but other than that you can also use it for hosting your domain mail. I've setup gmail for most of my needs with domain mail. It gets setup very fast and you'll be able to send and receive mail in few minutes. Verification and setup of hosted mail is fast and easy to use.

Well as mentioned here, FPS creator looks good and there are lots of features which will make game creation easy process. Not sure how production level games can be created. But will take a look for that one. Besides that garage games have good IDE and products for game development. Not affordable for some people but if any serious developer wants to get into gaming then garage games have some builder products that can be used for production level games. other than garage games, there are some 2D frameworks which make it easy to develop games. C# is used heavily in most of these games these days. Almost forgot that there is gamemaker and some game creators like game maker. I'll post about it soon.

At workplace i use mysql and MS-SQL express 2008. Most of the clients are using this limited feature express edition and it is working fine for them. Other than these two i've seen two projects with postgres but now a days it is rare to see projects with postgres. I've personally used SQLite for most of my short apps in java/c#. On point of postgres becoming popular, i can't comment much. But looking at the way java and mysql faling in open source community. I can say that postgres has better future later for sure.

There is definite answer atleast in favor of evolution. Recently many evolving species are found in amphibian and other animal tree list. Pinochio and other frog species are evolved over a time which is clearly a recorded evolution studies. If it has to be creation why it was not there before. And with creationism there is no need for evolving species as creator is assumed to be at top and can replace things which are not adopting. Evolution gives many answers which are easy to validate but creationism is more deluded and it is usually a weapon of those who have faith in universal creator. Thing with evolution is that you can't belive it blindly and you're free to question anytime. But in case of creationism, you've to think of condition that creator exist then rest of the creationism makes sense else it just proves as counter theory for evolution. My point is that what bible or creationism says about artificial intelligence and information manipulation and storage if we're from creator. The point is book of god never guided humanity to evolve in terms of intellect. It asked us to follow certain things to stay in sanity and to avoid war and hatred. That's all but if it's book from our creators there is no guidance written for where to move and how to tackle things which are beyond control of human beings. What's there in universe and why creator created universe and set of diverse species to begin with. Such questions are not at all answered instead it's very limited with it's understanding about universe and earth and species arround. So how can they expect this book to have all the answers ?

There is no mention of supernova in bible, same or big-bang, and many other things about universe. Besides there was no mention of another living species in universe mentioned in bible, so surely it is not word of god cause it is atleast it'll try to address most of the issues any intellect will seek. rather than this book keeps people in loop with information like satan and the behavior of people in faith. Why it fails to address the questions of universal seeker ? it fails very badly and we have to admit that. it is book of faith who wants to believe in creator who created universe without having to go into details of how universe formed with/without creator. for skippers this book and like of it is all we got.

Problem is people want to bend their faith and belief as per science and hence they deny evolution and big bang. So if they want to keep faith on bible only way left is to say that evolution is false or god triggered evolution. earlier i was taunted by few christians "science can't create life" and this month we have heard different news. same is the case with LHC project. So at the end point is truth is something different and people are trying to bend truth as per their religion and sacred text. Very soon there will be point that people will realize that all they explore about universe is not at all in religious text. They can try hard but it's not there.

Sometimes i wonder if people really make such statement after visiting every indian city or not. I mean look at 2-3 streets in mumbai and make general assumption that india is poor. nice. Not being patriotic but have to answer your question about poor country. This poor country managed to find out water in moon few months ago. This poor country developed super computer without help of any semiconductor companies outside. This poor country has many rich people in world richest people list. And the call that you get redirected from your vodafone and some other telescom networks are answered by people in this country. So yes, india is rather poor country compared to UK/US.Besides comparing UK/US with india is one of the naive thing anyone will do because india has more population and other issues than us/uk.So if just middle-class and rich people are shown in the stats with compared to US/UK people then i;m sure even economically your statement is misleading.. anyway back to opaque topic..

Yes, i want mouse away from desk. I have plain surface (drawning board). That surface is enough for the mouse i think. And with mouse pad i can move it without having to worry about any trouoble with it.
