When you are using IPB, you should be able to log in as administrator and use your back up that you have downloaded. If for some reason you can't access your admin control panel. Then use the "Add_on Scripts" in your cpanel and install IPB again, and then upload your backup using your new board.

MySQL on Xisto was experiencing some problems yesterday and today, I believe the problem should be solved by now.

I'm assuming that you want to change your domain either two ways, thru a domain you bought, or thru Xisto.com subdomainif you want to change your current nick.trap17.com, you'll have to make a request on the "Request Name Change" Section, this can be found on the bottom on the forum. (You'll lose 10 hosting credits.)if you registered a domain, and want the domain to be tied with nick.trap17.com ,simply in your Domain DNS congiruation, (this can usually be done by loggin into whoever hosts your domain) and point it to Xisto's 2 nameservers which arens1.trap17.comns2.trap17.comhope this helps,-whyme

If you have lost the password and you are now stuck with the windows login this resource should help you: http://www.lostpassword.com/windows.htm also, next time, make a password recovery disk, by doing it in your "Acoounts" area, so if you lose your password next time, you can reset it using a floppy disc. hope this helps -whyme

Hi Beth, on behalf of the Xisto community we welcome you to the forum.

Some members have also reported this issue. It maybe because of Xisto recent server changes and upgrades, keep is current on this. If it happens over this week, give us another note.

I'm not sure that the admin can "stop" your account, because the hosting credits system is fully automated to suspend accounts every hour. If I were you, I'd just post as many posts until I reached 10 hosting credits, then it would last another 10 days. You'll have to ask the NilsC or OpaQue for more details on this.

If you need to save bandwidth, and have a lot of images, I would recommend that you upload the larger ones to http://imageshack.us/, they will do free image hosting for you and you will definetetly save more bandwidth.
