  5. no problem, as long as it's something that you update,
  6. when you create an FTP account, it should be listed as follows:ftp login url : ftpaccountname.hamtaro.trap17.comftp login name: ftpaccountnameit should login like that, also, you need to "add" a user the ftp account that you're making, or else they can't log in.as for the anoymonus ftp, i think you'll have to make another ftp account, and set the values as "all can access"
  7. Welcome, Ejay, I livn Canada too! Beautiful British Columbia, Burnaby.
  8. glad you like Xisto, and welcome to the community
  9. we all would have wanted to give every member the fullest control on the forum, but because a select few have abused this privilldge, the edit button has to be taken down
  10. ooh, that's gotta suck, well, days like these happen.
  11. program looks nice, but i'm sticking with my windows.
  12. i've changed the URL for you. and as for your calculator, excellent job! i really like the colours used and it works like a charmcongrats on the new app. -whyme
  13. The edit button gets abused like this:1. A member makes a HUGE post consisting a a huge chunk of text that copied from a site.2. The credit system gives him 10 credits for this huge post.3. problem is, this post is completely irrelevant to the topic.4. but with the edit button, the member can then remove the post after he's got his credits. If everyone did this, then Xisto would be dommed.so this is really for the security of trap17and it's members. The moderators and admins know that mistakes fo happen, so we usually don't penalize you for double posting unless it's something that happens all the time.
  14. Lately, Xisto's servers have been upgraded, so that may explain the problem. Otherwise, I have no idea what's really happening.
  15. I've taken a look at the website and the documentation for SmartFox, it appeears that you need full server access in order to install it. Because of this, I don't think you can install it via your web hosting account. Your best try would be to give it a little "test-drive" on your own computer. Otherwise, you'd need to do some serious convincing forOpaQue to install it for you.
  16. As something of an amatuer photographer, I'd just like to ask the Xisto community what they think of my photo's. I know that they're are some really professional photographers on this forum, so please give me some hints and perhaps "mini-lectures" on how I can improve my photography skills. It's pretty small right now, but it should be getting bigger soon. Go to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and click on Gallery. Thanks everyone, whyme
  17. Well, now that we've got everything cleared up, welcome to the Xisto community.
  18. PDA's are getting cheaper and cheaper, yuo should be able to get a generic PDA with mp3, word processing (Documents to Go), and the basic functions for no more than $200. If you're going for higher end ones with a camera like the Zires 72, or 71 it'll cost about $250. PDA's are great little things to have around. and if you happen to get one, i highly recommend you get some freeware programs for your pda at http://www.oalaah.com/sale/index.html
  19. Well, in this case, there's only two possible points, either a) there is no trojan:) this is a really evasive trojan that even Norton can't find.I'm pretty sure it's a)
  20. Well, I'm sorry for causing this big commotion and perhaps misjudging you. But in the view of this being your first post, and the website having some suspicious content, I felt that it was in the best interest of the forum to have this post closed. If you feel that this is truly wrong on my part. You may have my sincere apology.-whyme
  21. Many don't ask for your age, as long as you have a PayPal or some sort of money account, they'll pay you.
