If you want to allocate more resources to an important program you are running do the following:1) press ctrl+alt+delete2) select the "processes" tab3) find the program you are using and right-click on it4) on the drop down bar that appears scroll over "select priority"5) select "high"(CAUTION DO NOT SELECT "REALTIME" AS THIS MAY IMBALANCE YOUR SYSTEM)6) A warning will appear, click yesIf you follow these easy steps you will find that whatever program you have done this to should run faster and more efficiently. However, this is something that must be done each and every time you use that program, as it is not a saved setting. Also note that it is best to only do this with 1 program at a time. this is an especially usefu;ll feature if you are running a resource hungry process' like games.

Well in my opinion, something or someone has to set everything in motion. You cant get something from nothing imo really.

My school blocks a lot of sites and it blocks proxies after being used using some software called st. bernard. The best proxy that hasn't and I heard can't, be blocked is this one: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ A friend said it was XML so it can't be blocked because the site keeps changing its IP address. I don't know if this is correct, but my school servers haven't been able to block it.

Depends on what the kid actually does. If the kid sits and plays on the computer all day, well thats bad obviously. The internet is a great place to gain access to information you may not find in a bookstore/library near you, although relying to heavily on the internet for information is not a good idea imo.

I believe that homework is necessary so that people can go over what we actually learned that day. Its literally what its for. Too much homework though is when it gets useless. In my opinion it would just disinterests people. After being assigned something over and over, it gets pretty boring and no one really cares anymore. To make someone learn and remember, you don't need to pound tons of homework, u just have to go over it every often or try and make it seem like one thing connects to another.I remember reading once that a study showed that countries who gave less homework had higher scores, and those who pound it on students scored less

I currently have an IPB 2.1 forum board on my site. I am wondering: Is it possible to upgrade to a newer version of IPB, like to IPB 2.2 or 2.3?If it is indeed possible, will all data from the old forum be erased? If you can't upgrade, is it possible to move posts, users, etc. on to a 2.2 board if purchased?

I would say to choose what u feel most comfortable in. Some people feel they look better in glasses and vice-versa. I wear glasses as i feel I look better in them, and most people I know are just really use to see me wearing glasses.

I dont think KKK has hung anyone recently, the KKK is alot smaller then it use to be and is not as violent as to start hanging and burning people now. MS-13 is a much more serious threat, as the gang is a lot more violent and secretive. Its also a lot larger and spread out across the country. Thanks to the old policy of just deporting the gang members straight away, the gang has just spread instead into other countries. Actually according to a TIME article I read, many more Mexicans might start coming to America illegally if violence between drug lords increases in Northern Mexico, as the drug lords have even bribed over police forces and there are assassinations of top people almost every day

Gears of War is pretty fun, especially when you chainsaw someone. The game is also coming out for PC as well, and its including new stuff thats only for the PC. So now people who dont have an xbox 360 can play it too. I hope though its not gona be just for Vista though like halo 2 was

I've played that game before and I know a few other people who play it as well. I played it for about a week or two, and it really got boring. You just take attack, get attacked, just rebuild, and the cycle repeats itself.

Wow...really.. wow lol. I don't see the point in "neutering" a statue when its not even real. I mean whats the harm in it? I have only 1 pet currently, a blue beta . Before I had a nice amount of goldfish (years ago)I've recently also had 2 other betas. One was a red one i got 4 years ago and died a year later. Another one was also a red beta and was with the one I have currently that used the same tank with a separator. It died 1-2 years I think of old age according to a friend of mine who owns a fish pet store

Now lets say the person that brutally, tortured and killed your friend, their is hard evidence, confession, witnesses, etc. do you still want to see the guy alive? Don't we pay for prison upkeep with our taxes (not sure on this one)? What if rehabilitation doesn't work and the guy is still even more violent in prison?I personally would not want to and support the death penalty
