1. I'm amused that you mention QMP, as that's my music player of choice. I harass my friends who use Winamp and they harass me about QMP. I've found QMP to take up less resources, have excellent tiny skins, and essentially have everything I'd want to play music, without lots of extra crap. I use the Core media player for playing video.
2. It sounds like what you'd really like to use is an include function, like the one found in PHP. Thankfully, Xisto fully supports php, and the function's very easy to use, so if you look up a few examples you should have it done in no time.
3. I can't honestly see why you wouldn't use a background image (for a div or a table cell) but if you feel the great need to do it another way, you can use the z-index variable in css which allows for the layering of multiple elements.
4. If you have to deal with him again tell him directly that the two of you have a professional relationship and that you expect him to treat it like one. Point out that your business is what pays his sallary, and that if he's rude you might switch to a different company. Emphasize that you will not tollerate being treated differently because you're a minor.Sorry to hear about the rudeness.
5. Just consider blobs to be longer versions of varchars and use them in exactly the same way. In the phpAdmin or the mysqlAdmin (I don't remember which, as I usually do it manuall) you can change the type of field from varchar to blob. Do that, and then treat the rest exactly the same.

You need to change the nameservers (again?) in your GoDaddy preferences. Make sure after you change them that you click accept. If they're reverting for some strange reason, contact GoDaddy for help. Until then, you should be able to access your site directly by the IP given to you when you created your account at https://support.xisto.com/
7. Once again, you're entitled to your own opinion. However, can you provide any evidence of your claim, as once again it seems very unsubstantiated. It's true that it often takes more than one artificial insemination to make a woman pregnant, but there's no higher chance of birth defects or multiple births. Also, what people don't realize is it often takes couples more than one try to have a child, so in reality the fertility rates are just about the same.A portion of our population has innate homophobia -- or at least a derisive view towards homosexuals -- that I think's completely ludicrious.
8. There's really no legitimate reason to use a keylogger. If you need to find out what someone's writing or their passwords and they won't tell you voluntarily, then you need to respect their privacy and not try to steal their information. If you used a key-logger at a company you could be fired (not to mention brought to court), if you did it at school you could get suspended, and if you did it at home your parents or siblings could get really pissed. They may be neat to play with, but don't use them for anything that violates the privacy of others.
9. The 30 day trial applies only to commercial use. After 30 days launching the program usually causes a nagware popup to display from 9am-5pm weekdays, but you just click "ok" to close it. I've been using SmartFTP for over four years now, without ever paying for it -- although I suppose I should send some money their way sometime. They also support fxp (direct server to server transfer) which is really pleasant. Pretty much my only qualm with them is that while they support FTPS they don't support SFTP.
10. Yup. Internet Explorer (for windows) never has and probably never will fully comply with the W3 standard. Use conditional comments, and your life will be much happier -- trust me.
11. First let me say that Windows ME is by far the worst operating system ever put out by Microsoft. Switching to 2000 would be better, but I recommend XP professional edition. Yes linux works with normal PC hardware, there are often equivilant programs to windows in linux, and you can emulate other windows programs (although it's slow). If you're considering switching to linux I suggest dual booting both windows and linux for a while to ease the transition. You'd still be able to play your games on windows, but you'd be able to do pretty much everything else on linux. If you're trying to find which version of Linux you want I'd recommend Ubuntu because it's a small and clean version of Debian, but everyone has their own preference.
12. As far as I know the only way to do what you want properly is to use threads and the fork and wait functions. Implimenting it is non-trivial, but if you really need to be able to do it, do a search for c, threads, and fork on google. You'll need to download an extra library and learn about interrupts. Alternatively, if you're running linux you might be able to get away with system("myprg &");

Audio Editing

Professional sound editing is done almost exclusively with ProTools. However, it's expensive and fairly difficult to learn. As people said above, audacity is a powerful, easy to use, free and opensource alternative. It won't have some of the options you need in for more complex opperations, but by and large it's extremely useful.
14. So lets recap: Google maps allows google to know where you are. Gmail and Google talk allow google to know what you're saying and doing. Google toolbar allows google to know what's on your computer. Google calendar knows when you're planning on doing everything. Next: Google Vote! Vote for your chosen Democracy/Monarchy/Oligarchy from the comfort of your own home. Google Social Security Database! Access birth, death, and marriage records with the blazing speed of Google search. Now handily integrated into your gmail account for easy lookup. Don't get me wrong, I really like a lot of google's software. I have friends working for Google. However, it's turning into more of a monopoly than Microsoft ever was. I'm not the biggest fan of centralized, omnipresent control.
15. I don't think I could disagree with you more. Homosexuals are born with their sexual orientation, just like heterosexuals. Sometimes it takes them longer to realize that they like their own sex, but that's because they have to overcome gender stereotypes and a hostile and biased society. If you were going out with someone and then had a very messy breakup with them, would you be able to "decide" to just start liking your own sex? Neither did they. These women don't steal men's sperm in the middle of the night. If a man donates sperm, it's because he's willing to help a woman reproduce. He directly agrees that he's willing to facilitate conception without being a parent. Are you also against sperm donations for heterosexual couples where the man's infertile? You mention that coception is usually not by coitus; would it somehow be more acceptable if it was? You mention that not having a father figure will cause a male child to grow up gay. Do boys born to single mothers usually turn out gay? Do girls born to single fathers usually turn out to be lesbians? I don't think that there's a single credible study *anywhere* that shows that the sexual orientation of the parents determine the sexual orientation of the child. In fact, there are studies that show that sexual orientation is largely predetermined before birth. This is another ungrounded stereotype. Yes this may happen occationally, but most lesbian couples are strait forward with their children about their conception. You're entitled to have your own beliefs, but please try to scrutinize them more, to see if they hold any substance. I'm friends with a fair number of homosexuals, and all of your objections seem to be founded on stereotypes and misconceptions.
16. Many people (myself included) use "absolute" to refer to the complete path of a file (e.g. http://ww38.yoursite.com/index.html, c:\foobar.txt) and "relative" to refer to any path that is relative to the current file or directory. Hence both /yourfolder/ and ../../yourfolder/ fall under relative paths, because they're both relative to the current path. To be more specific, /yourfolder/ should really be denoted as ./yourfolder/
17. You sound very much like a Buddhavista. If you haven't read any texts on Buddhism, you might want to pick a few up. It still sounds like a very lonely life to me. Regardless of your motivation, what you get out of life is what you feel when you look back at the end of the day.
18. Try a third party client like Miranda IM, GAIM, or trillian, which will allow you to access both AIM and MSN in a single client. If that doesn't fix it, try setting up your clients to connect to different validation servers than they're set to now -- there's ample documentation on that if you search google.
19. The only change is that it has to be encapsulated in javascript. Eolas has a patent out on embeded media content that loads directly with the page. Creating the content with javascript keeps it from being embedded, and therefore sidesteps the patent. Eolas has been nice enough to say that they won't target Firefox or any other opensource and freeware program. Using javascript for flash/quicktime/etc seems like a pretty terrible idea because of all the people who have it disabled or limited. It also means that writing embedded content into webpages is going to be more of a pain in the future -- it makes me thankful for conditional comments.
20. Your problem's probably in the menu code #menu {position: absolute;top: 5;left: 135;z-index: 100;width: 100%;}Many browsers won't use margin: auto correctly unless the width is fixed in pixels. I'm also not sure whether margin: 0px auto (what jlhaslip suggested) is valid css or not -- it could be, I have no clue. I tend to use either all the margins in the margin command, or use them individually. i.e. I'd have margin: 0px auto auto auto;ormargin-top: 0px;margin-right: auto;margin-left: auto;but that might just be a personal preference. Edit: I think you can also get away with using css instead of javascript for your menus, using the :hover attribute.
21. After you spend a long time with someone you start getting very comfortable with them, and you start to take a lot of the things that they do for granted. It's probably not that she's become less attractive, or that your tastes have changed, but that she's become more normal to you, and that the exciting newness of the relationship has worn off. Try thinking back to when you were first going out, to all the amazing things she did that you hadn't expected. Try to remember the things you found most endearing about her, and focus on them when you're together. When you say "I love you", keep it from being a reflex said out of habit. After you pronounce the words, stop a minute, and really think hard on what they mean. Try changing your schedule. If you normally do a specific thing with her, try changing the location, or the activity, or the order in which you do an activity. Go out to eat at different places, go on a picnic, play a game neither of you has touched in years. Try doing random things with her out of the blue. Add variation to your intimate life. If you have good communication in your relationship, it's absolutely best to talk about it. She might feel hurt at first, but you should be able to explain that it's not "her fault", and that you want to work on not taking things you do together for granted. Stress that you really care about her, and that you want to stay together. She might be feeling the same way you do, but be too hesitant to talk about it, and you don't want to let that distance drive you apart. Regardless, hopefully she'll understand and she can help you break out of your feelings of bored complacience.Don't stop spending time with her unless you're fairly sure that you don't want a relationship anymore. Taking breaks from being together rarely works.Best of luck working your feelings and your relationship out. Strong relationships are really hard to maintain, especially when you don't get to see eachother that often, but it is possible.
22. I've recently had a few chances to use the Canon Digital Rebel, which is, in my estimate, an absolutely wonderful camera. It's quick, has completely manual options, and allows for a large number of lenses. It's also much cheaper than a lot of comparable SLRS. It's a bit lower on the megapixel end than many of its competitors, but I haven't really found that to be a problem. However, I'm not really very much of a photographer, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt.
23. Having reverse engineered my fair share of simple C programs I'll tell you right now that it's going to be a lot more work than it's worth. The source code's not going to be in the file pretty much regardless, and if you need to do anything more than find a few string litterals you're going to spend days, if not weeks tracing the code. It's probably much faster just to rewrite the code.
24. Actually, those type of actions are defined as instincts in behavioral biology, and are assumed to be hard-wired from the DNA. As far as I know there isn't any contention over the issue. One of the more interesting/amusing types of instincts are Fixed Action Patterns. A Fixed Action Pattern happens when an animal is provided with a specific stimulis and automatically goes through a preset series of motions. For example, with some types of geese if you place an spherical object near their nest they'll try to roll it back in by sheperding it with their neck. However, if you take the "egg" away from them half the way through, they'll continue rolling empty air until they get to the point where the egg should be back in the nest. Another example is a specific species of bird, which lives in Australia if I remember correctly, where the males have bright red plummage. They have a Fixed Action Pattern to attack other males that enter their territory. Unfortunately, their instinct only checks for the specific color of red, rather than the size of the object. Coincidentally, the mail trucks of that area happened to be that exact color red. These poor birds would fling themselves at the mail trucks until they were completely incompacitated.
25. Pretty much every ISP has either an online "live help" (chatroom) or email. Send them a detailed message over the internet, include the name your account's under, and they'll never question you. You're pointing out a flaw in their service, so they should be fairly eager to accomidate you (they're trained that way). They won't even bother asking for your age.
