personally, i love kids. i think if one can have the patience for children, one can have the patience for life. teaching them is difficult but can be so rewarding. on the flip side, i think it's ignorant when someone can just post about teaching children because a lot of time, if you pay attention, THEY can teach YOU. people are sometimes so self absorbed, they forget to just watch and listen. i think one of the greatest things about kids though is their innocence and their uncanny natural ability to allow adults to be kids in a way and bring us to a place where life isn't so complicated.

this is the third post recently that is against inea and WAY off topic. maybe we should report your posts as well. if you have something to say, say it in one post and get it over with so i don't have to hear you either. since this topic is on the right of free posting, i guess this thread would have been the wisest to reply in even if what you had to say had very little to do with the topic.

what's with that link? is that your website? it's about as unprofessional as your posts. let me give you some trivia about Xisto and the post to host program here. the average user get's about .20 for each post. yes, it fluctuates up and down, but the AVERAGE is 20 cents. now you have 160 posts. it is clearly seen as part of your profile. this means that if you were average, you would have earned about $32 in hosting services credits. MY guess though is that you haven't even earned half that. i will even go further out on a limb and say you have earned about 1/4 of what an average person makes per post. so tell me if i am about right when i say you have earned about $8. you see inea, it's not hard for other people to earn. yea, some people can say it's harder to earn now than before, but the truth is, it's still easy to earn. what makes it hard to earn is when members like you get attracted to the free hosting services, post some really irrelevant information, creat voting polls that nobody votes in, and wonders why you aren't earning more. i have told you two times that it's QUALITY content that counts and you offer NONE. in fact, you only created on thread out of 160 posts that got a whole page of responses. and in that thread you yourself posted about, you found out pretty quick that you are the most annoying user. so instead of continuing to post like you are, maybe it's time to learn about yourself from others because obviously what you are doing isn't getting you where you want to go when you can start a thread like this.i was debating wether to respond to this, but if you are going to try to open peoples eyes about post to hosting being outdated, what you are really saying is Xisto is outdated and i thought i needed to clarify what you have been talking about. you see, it's now Xisto that isn't worth the time or effort or has the problem. it's YOU. you have problems with this place, yet you are still here posting your .05 i-3 liner posts. so for all those out there who get to hear your take on why Xisto is out dated, they will hear my opinion about you.now i may agree with you to a certain extent that there free hosting services out there without ads which may SEEM to be better than any post to host service, but in reality, they are NOT! those free services give you minimal resources, a screwed up control panel, and they rarely give you any options for auntomatically installed software like fantastico. when you post here on the forums and have enough for at least a hosting account, you get a good amount of disk space, bandwidth, a GREAT cpanel, fantastico, etc....all for the just a little of your time to post something usefull. deadmad is wrong. people still post in here because they need to pay for their hosting and domain names. but maybe people like me or saint michael and a couple other members don't need the mycents anymore because we have enough to last 5-10 years now without posting a single post.now i have noticed that SOME of your posts have become a little better. i just hope most ALL your posts reach that level one day. i hope that one day you can hit the average of .20 a post. it seems you are so desperate to post to get mycents, that you aren't seeing how it degrades this forum and makes it worth less in the eyes of new members. if people like me consider you annoying, and other long term members like RGP who is debating whether to log in anymore because i can't stand to see your posts anymore, what do you think new users will think? they aren't even going to waste their time here. they will just read the thread you started about solar energy and leave to read a "see spot run" book because that would be more entertaining.so let me help you out here. if you can't start a thread or respond to a topic with 5+ lines, don't post at all. force yourself to post better quality. practice. if you do that, then i will personally promise you that you will earn more mycents, you will be happier, you wont be as annoying to others, and you will enjoy yourself here more and be able to afford hosting serves quicker. that is my personal promise to you if you follow my simple advice.normally, i wouldn't respond so lengthy, but seeing as you have took the time to post 160 posts in a very short amount of time, researched even the OLDEST topics to post in, i know you can be a valuable user here if you just learn how things work around here. and hey, it's ok to be annoying. i am annoying, but i don't post 2-3 line posts. that has to be more annoying than anything i have to say or my opinions about certain topics and people. you may not like my bluntness, but it's for your own good. also, try to stay in the chat room for more than 3 minutes. maybe you need to start getting to know people on a more personal level, relax, and have fun so this place can be more enjoyable to you.i remember you were in the chat room once and you had to leave because you said you just thought of a good topic. i don't know about the others in the chat room, but i thought it was a little rude but thought, "ok. at least we inspired this person to write something". turned out, it was another 2 line topic with a poll. the poll took more time than what you wrote about and it wasn't even that good. i was so anxious to read about your inspiration but once again, let down by your normal posting patterns. what you are eventually telling people by your posting patterns is that we shouldn't expect much from you. i on the other hand think you have more to offer but it will take a little more effort on your part. are you up for that challenge or should we just expect the same kinds of posts from you?

it depends what opaque set the minimum posts to. it used to be 5, so i like to say 6. even if it's 5 or 10, the mycents script has to run before it kicks in so sometimes people don't even see it kick in after 20 posts. i only get my updates about once a week. it's confusing, but that's how opaque and buffalohelp want to make it :)i've seen members post over 20 posts and complain about why they don't see their mycents. the REASON usually is that the script isn't running. but all posts still count and accumulate, so no worries.

welcome to our forum. now that you signed up at xisto with the same email address you used to sign up here, start posting. after 5-6 posts, the mycents system will kick in for you and you're on your way to free hosting and a free domain name

inea, deleting a topic is NOT an option. there are reasons behind it. for instance, the topic starter and anyone who responded to the topic WILL LOSE their mycents. this wouldn't go over to well with people. the only way a mod will delete a topic is if it is considered spam and if the responses gave no true value to the forum or the search engines. i don't ever see a mod deleting a topic solely on the request of a member. so in other words....if you created a topic that you want deleted and people have already responded to it, chances are VERY unlikely it will be deleted. even if you think you have a right to have it deleted since you started the topic. it doesn't work that way. there are other reasons why a topic wont be deleted, but this one i stated was related to your mycents question. so yes.....all mycents earned from that topic will be reversed which may cause a negative mycents balance.

why don't you stop stealing other peoples threads to post what YOU have done. if you really want to share it, create your own thread. and btw- the player doesn't even work....

i agree with rob. there should be rules. i disagree however about anea. that user is 100% wrong. that user is spamming the same images in the image gallery and this user has had nothing beneficial to offer this forum as of yet with 1 line post. and who gets frightened about an orange for gosh sakes? if you ask me, this user freaks me out more than the orange. rob- there is absolutely no substitute for common sense. rules or no rules. i wouldn't go so far as to say that it has to be something someone created themselves, but copyrights should definately apply. i was against having this image gallery at the top of the main forum to begin with. now the forum is looking more unprofessional than it already did thanks to the NEWBIE! i am actually beginning to like bikerman. he may talk a lot of crap, but at least it's not spam. i hope opaque gets his personal affairs in order soon so we can concentrate on this forum more with ideas and suggestions.

yea, i think you did an excellent job. i think the first two things i would change first is the text you put in the square box and also make it fit better. the other thing i would change is the font color where you introduce yourself. it's hard to read, wd.after you can fix those two things, i can maybe give more input. those two things stand out the MOST as things that need to be revised. oh. i am editing this post. i also noticed that that your graphic below "what can i do, isn't blending so well on the page. i can tell it a square graphic. the reason for this is that part of the graphics are cut off. this is hardly noticable, but i did notice it so i would change that for sure too to make it blend better with the backgroundbut hey, good job! i really like what you have done!

it's insteresting you believe what you just wrote and also claim to believe in the big bang theory at the same time. this would be contradictory to the physicists you worship.

hmmm....interesting, bikerman.... you are the only one to give minor facts that relate to the topic here. part of your so called facts though is to presume babies have a natural instinct related to past generations and evolution. i wouldn't call it evidence, but it is certainly something to think about....i have to sober up a little before i give my full opinion here

yea, at the same time, i am in agreement with buffalohelp. i don't think users should be seperated in to groups. i almost have a problem when we seperate gfx team and spam patrol. personally, i don't feel any member is more special than another. just because a user knows photoshop doesn't mean he's more special. just because a user knows how to click the report button doesn't mean he's special. i do like your board though because it only seperates the active from the inactive. i think it can be more objective though to include those who had a significant impact on this forum....even if you have to put the wanted sign up. i also don't think people should have to ask to be on it. you started this WD, so you finish it.....and be fair to those who wont ask to be on it.that is my two cents for now....
