I'm not rich, either and we don't waste money on computers. We have had the same Gateway Windows 98SE for 10 years ( ) and I'm about to re-image it so its gets back to its old speed. My dad bought us a Dell E510 XP Media Center, the past christmas! Now I have wanted a computer since I could remember, that could play games and just work normally, and let me tell you. It was worth the waiting and stuff. But this summer I'm buying a Dell Laptop, but its not fair, to have a some jack*** pirate software, and have me have to purchase it. It does not make and sense at all. Thats still hacking. And thats not the right thing to do earlier. You wanna know why prices are so high and stuff, and companies are going out of business in the software industry? Its because people crack the software, and pirate it and mass send it out. So the company is paying more to stop that then to build there program. So what can I get honestly today?

I hate anime. Thats all the asian people (no I'm not racist!) in my school watch and read on the internet when we are supposed to be doing some classwork. Its pointless, and I really don't know what its about. And whats the big deal about it? There is some convention this summer, and everybody is going to it (AMA). Well you can do something like this: 1) Select the text, image, or shape 2) Open the Task Pane (Ctrl + F1) 3) Click Getting Started and find Custom Animation 4) While in the Custom Animation Menu -Click Add Effect -Scroll to Motion Paths -Scroll over Draw Custom Path 5) Select your option from there. You can use a pre-set or create your own. 6) Your done, clap your hands and good luck on the project. After you add that you can change the settings for your presentation, like display before or after the slide comes up and stuff like that. Good luck.

I agree and stuff. Paul has some sweet templates. I would think I could create some stuff in Joomla and see how that looked. But Paul or Saint Michael would maybe be the best template guys. We do need a new template and stuff. As for the Xisto - Web Hosting, I understand that, but where the ads are placed needs to be thought out more and stuff. Because if you have ads all over the place, the user it like "OK I HAVE SEEN THIS STUPID THING EVERYWHERe...." so maybe in a bottom footer on all pages and 1 once on top at the main page? We should get a committe together, hold a conference and draft some ideas. Figure out what the Xisto ppl want, figure out where to put stuff. Then we need to hold a contest, set the guidlines and see what pours in. Maybe we could get the Top5 forum voted. Then hold a final voting and the winner gets xyz, and we use there template. My school provides me with Elements 3.x or something like that. I hate it, there so cheap and stuff, I want CS2, so I will most likley get a trial and stuff. But one day if I become rich or get money or become successful then I will buy it. Why is it so freaking exenisive? Its like $999.00 or something like $1,000.00 for the bundle or just photoshop? Xisto Home I think that the main template for Xisto hosting it too clutterd and could be better to reflect the hosting that we have to offer. Now that not a bad thing, but beginners way back when, like me. It was kinda hard to find where you get the hosting and stuff. Because the page was: -cluttered -messy -the buttons and formatting does not match up And I was chatting with some friends and I reffered them here and there expressions were: And stupid stuff like that. Now I don't mean to insult us, but unless you plan so SEO the forums so people go here rather than the main page, we need some work done on it. Because its the first thing that someone looks and, and its like a house that needs to be painted. If you don't like it, people will leave, and not come back. Now its not that bad, but I was wondering if I could make around 3 templates and I will post some links here, to see what you think and stuff. Or even better: We could have a contest for- members/everyone can create a template of there own or us a OSWD template and customize it for Xisto, basic stuff on it, and we can vote and if someone wins we can use that template, and they get like extra BW or Space or something like that. You can find some great ones here. If you google what your topic title was you can get a million links. Try to find open source or free good ones, since thats where all the developers and stuff are. Otherwise, you might get crappy junky stuff.

This is some tricky business that you have your self in and stuff. Option 1 You e-mail stating what you want to do, to the people that have the copyright against the image, give you feedback, either YES or a NO. Option 2 You can google some images and stuff, and make your own banner, and leave a notice at the bottom of the page or a legal page and stuff, stating where you got the images and such. Make sure you give credit, where credit is due. Otherwise, you will get your self in some serious legal crap...but I'm not sure, what to tell you really. You should use Option 1, and e-mail the owners and get the image holders permissions!

I will try and have a look at the problem that you are having. I am a student in high school, so don't expect magic or something. Can you PM me the details and I will look at both the shopping cart systems. And see which one will look better. You need to provide me with the templates and information that you want in them. I will do what I can do. But I don't know how it will work. Sumerize: I will do the job, you must provide me with everything that I need to complete the template. I can create some stuff, but don't expect good stuff...anyways. I will take on the task.

I would suggest, that you put it in a zip file and use Gmail, I know that they allow more than 10 MB to send in a e-mail, I have sent lots of files, let me check on that with the Gmail Support Team. I will post a reply here to see what they tell me and stuff.

Ok...its been like 1 week, and I know that the admins are busy and stuff. But when is the report button going to be fix. If you need to install that mod, I can do it, just give me temp access and it will be done in like 5-8 minutes. It took me 6 mins on my site, to get the thing totally config'ed to my settings and manual skin edits and all.Anyways, what else is down for the moment?

For your best bet, since you wanted customization I would try: http://forums.oscommerce.com/ You can install it through Fantistico on your Cpanel here at Xisto. Or you can try Cube Cart or Zen Cart. Sorry, I can't code anything, but seriously give Os Commerce a look, and then have somebody at there site do what you wanted, or you can look for add ons or mods for it. Now about your little listing, I think you could become creative and have it tie in to that program, or use the fields with that program, and see what it does. I have no first hand experience with any of there programs.

Well then why did I make a topic title called a phising attempt. I took just a quick glance and it looks fine to me and stuff. You can suggest that users use the IE Tab Extension in firefox, if its still not look up to par and stuff. But nice template, and it looked fine to me, unless I missed something else.

Well don't think thats a big deal, since 5 people wanting a GFX Forum, started doing that and stuff, and they gave me everything I need to install, and then some extra information. I think it will be good to install other boards as a option. But I am more familiar with IPB then anything else, since you can find PHBB and SMF in the Fantistico. I'm about to start a site about Invision Power Board, than will have people that can install IPB Boards for other people and can install some modifications along with that stuff to. So pretty much we are a free installation and modification install support site.I will be using Joomla to create a main page and stuff, and we will be hosted here @ Xisto. I will have a IPB Forum with a bunch of mods and some discussion areas. I want to know what I can call this site here are some names I have come up with so far:Invision Installers(well ok thats one...) Do you guys have any ideas or any suggestions from what I should add to the site and general feedback on the idea on a scale of 1-10. Thanks.

That happens sometime, if there a lot of folders and stuff. For example when you upload a IPB Forum, you need to upload the zip file through Cpanel, and unzip it there and do someother stuff....but to your topic: Option 1 -Create a zip file of all the uploaded contents -yoursite.trap17.com/cpanel (login with username and password) -Main Page --> File Manager --> WWW or Public_HTML --> Upload Files -Upload that zip file Extra +If you want that zip file unzipped, click the NAME of the zip file and look to your right on the menu and unzip it, otherwise just leave it. +Create a folder for all the uploaded materials and stuff, so that the people can visit the folder and download through that. Option 2 -Host the files on FileFront.com or something like that, where people can externally download them and such. -Hosting large amounts of files on your account, will increase bandwith when they view or download them, be prepared to combat that and stuff! Hopefully some of this helped you out.

Your site seems to be working fine and stuff. Anything that you want avaliable on the web needs to be in the WWW or Public_HTML folders (they are both the same folders). Index.php or Index.html is a file that is the homepage when people will see when they visit portal.trap17.com Otherwise its a folder view of other stuff, but your index page is working fine. Well thats funny, you should enable the spam catcher or box trapper or something like that that requires little settings to change and stuff. You can do this in Cpanel, and set a quota for your other e-mail accounts, and get rid of the un-routed e-mail and set it to a un-default, so make it give errors if somebody types the wrong e-mail.Sorry this is jumbled and stuff.
