Programs used to create cool sigs and animation?
MaineFishing45 replied to brautigam's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Well try being a little bet more descriptive with your topic title and stuff. Yes, if you have Adobe Photoshop CS2, then you should have gotten ImageReady CS2 with it!Its the exact same thing as Photoshop, but you can do all sorts of flash and animations with it. It also has stuff for customizing your web sites too. If you want a really good Photoshop CS2 book then "Classroom in a Book" is your best bet. I bought it off Amazon, and its really nice. Comes with a CD and a great set of lessons with it. -
Yeah that is not a good idea to me, being funny is one thing, acting stupid is another when they sorta catch on to you and stuff. Not the best of ideas. Exactly, people like me for who I am. When I hang around with friends they know me, not someone else I'm trying to be and stuff. Now everynow and then its cool to goof off and stuff, but maily I'm who I want to be, and I don't care what you think of me. I don't win over my friends or "buy" my friends like most people in todays world.... . Anyways nice advice dude, and good luck to anybody thats trying to win a GF over...lol

Trust me OpaQue, its hard, but in the end its a big success. What happens like this, most hosts just give up and shutdown, forgetting what the members have hosted and stuff like that. So really, we are staying strong and can over come anything that hits the path of Xisto! Surely if we have 14,xxx + members someone can help you out! Good job staff team and keep up the good work, and the quality posting yet to come! Long Live Xisto ...

What Is Oswd.org? Open Source Web Design
MaineFishing45 posted a topic in Websites and Web Designing
OSWD.org OSWD is a acromnym for Open Source Web Design. Many people like me are looking for quality templates , but don't really want to spend $60+ bucks on a site thats just for personal fun. Anyways OSWD has currently 1688 Free Web Templates that are for the most part professional. Web Designers and graphic experts design them and test them out, and publish them to the public at OSWD. Now I have not seen any Flash or extremly nice tempates yet. Most of the templates are XHTML and CSS, and mainly composed of images and text. You can also find some with columns and such. So if you need a template just check out OSWD.org. And if your good at web design, please donate a template to them! Personally, if someone never told me about that site, I would never have found it my self! So thats why I wanted to share it with everyone, so when you hear the phrase OSWD, you know what were talking about. -
Usb Flash Drive Something New
MaineFishing45 replied to itsmyard's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Wow thats really neat and stuff, I should try something like that. About how many hours/minutes did it take you to make that? So after you make a credit car and car what next? Buildings and stuff? If your really into stuff like that, you can try making a set of stuff, and posting a preview and maybe sell it for credits or something. -
Why do you want a camera that can shoot in black and white? When you can get a camera that shoots color and its a digital and use Photoshop CS2 or something and fix it up. But as stated below, maybe if your a professional photographer, and someone wants black and white or something with a "old" look in it, then I guess the photo guy should use that.Anyways, when did they first come out, and what was the purpose?
-
Yeah took you long enought right? She does fit the title . Anways onto the topic at hand, pretty much nice background, but you need to use a better font. I would rate this a 8/10. Nice snows effect too.

Personally, I would round it and make the animations shimmer, if you know what I mean. I think someone should create a tutorial on button making, since its a little absent from most of the sig guru tutorials.

For some reason, Opera does not like IPB forums, someone has reported the same with my IPB forum. What you can do is clear all the cache's and cookies, and offline files. After you do that, then you should try, visiting the site again. What do you mean by its cache'd? Like where is it stored? Anyways, if that does not work, you can try the IE Beta 7 or Firefox! You should check out Opera's support team, if someone here can not help you out.

Wow...that made me really crack up. The people near my McDonalds are so stupid they give you extra cups and stuff, where there are only 4 people. We were like...ok? And then exchanged it for fries Thats true, 7-11 is really expensive, for the crap that they give you. And all of them speak indian and they scream and shout at you if you do something wrong. Its kinda funny when you make a indian accent, and they get made, and look at you like "what is that stupid white kid doing?". But anyways...that was kinda mean, but they really need to lighten up or have some good customer service. Call 7-11 HQ, and tell them about that.

Thats what I have come to think it is, there is something config, different about Xisto and other hosts, because its only with Xisto. I don't care about it, just that someone asked me and stuff, and I thought I would find out, since its been like this forever. Its not all the time, just maybe like 3-5 time a week, at the most. Depends ony how long I'm on Xisto or my site. Its definatly something with Ajax or Refresh Rates, and idle processes. (maybe not ajax...but )
-
It happens at the same time. What happens sometimes is, that I get that message in the shoubox, if I'm not active on the page for like 5-10 minutes or something...What happens is, I open two firefox tabs, on for Xisto and one for my Forumize. So if I know there talking a while, that error will come up. I was thinking that its a server load limit, that cuts the connection if there are too many processes running, or someone restarts the server. But I just hit F5 or Refresh and it loads normall again!

Negative Disk Space Available problems with cPanel
MaineFishing45 replied to Juhae's topic in Web Hosting Support
Please make a more descriptive topic title other than HELP ME or PROBLEM. The question is what and how much stuff, do you have in your account, and why is your color black? It should be maroon, to match the hosted group? The second thing is, have you checked how much stuff, is in your account, and what type of files? Otherwise than that, you can wait for a server tech or admin to respond. Try the Xisto Help desk! -
Userbar - Created For A Company...
MaineFishing45 replied to MaineFishing45's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Well your userbars are sorta nice, the shape and size of them. But you need to make them a little darker or more shiny, like a background font to them and stuff. Secondly, you should use a pixel, font for best results. I can do that, just give me till the end of the week, so I can make something good. Now I just have to modify the other userbars and make some adjustments. I will also include the fonts and maybe the .PSD if you want some learning rights or anything. -
No I don't. I'm on a 54 MBPS wireless connection from a desktop computer. And it does not happen just to me. I was talking to other people and they have mentioned it and stuff, especially the new commers. (lawmatchmaker) has mentioned it to me and stuff. And my nieghbor, who uses this site (guess who.... ) has the same problem, its not all the time, just sometimes and its only Xisto, not other hosts. So its setting or load balancing option I guess.

I have noticed that this message has been comming up for a while, and now its bugging me when I try to refresh the shoutbox, or visit a webpage on a Xisto Server. The following comes up in firefox, and a similar "page can not be displayed" in Internext Explorer. Any causes or do we have like a server load limit of 20 or something, that shutsdown after it hits the max?
-
I really like it, but like anything else. There are somethings I don't like. The black takes away from your old professional look. So I would try experminenting with other colors, and maybe add screenshots, so people can vote, and see how you like that idea.I do agree, that the link bar at the top of the page, does indeed make it look more professional. But really its not big deal about the colors. Its really nice and stuff. Keep up the good work, if I ever need a template, I will contact you.

This is my first userbar, and PhotoShop CS2 creation? Not bad I would say and stuff. I just need to make some for Xisto and Forumize now. A guy at another hosting company asked me to make some, since I thought I would try GFX out. I don't think they are that bad, for a first userbar. But comments please...

Leaving so soon? Why don't you give Xisto a second chance? I was busted for spamming, since I knew nothing better, but I changed my ways, and such. You need to keep trying, and if this site does not work out, then I would recomend PuffinHost.com. Good luck along the road of webhosting.

Something Wrong With Loging In Into My Site
MaineFishing45 replied to BOAW's topic in Web Hosting Support
Due to many past experiences with my forums, its a cookie error. So when you login something mess it up, and you are taken back to the main login page, or where ever your comming from. The way I solve this is: Internet Explorer Internet Options -Delete Cookies -Delete Files (and all offline content) -Clear the cache Firefox Clear Private Data -Make sure cookies and cache have a check in them -Clear authinacated sesions -Clear All Private Data That should fix the problem. If it still keeps comming back and such, you should try to get some tech support, or check the install and config files for your software or site. -
I was posting in the Hosted Members area, and I wanted to reply to another support question, that I have an anwser to, and I get a annoying message, saying that you need to wait 25 seconds before making a new topic or reply? Ok, I really think that we should make this 10, I know its here to prevent, double postings, and random spam posts 1 after the other, but if its like 10 seconds, you can read the topic, and reply pretty good. And I don't mean to be picky and stuff, but if you don't like waiting like me...

Well I don't think you can upload your own skins, because your are not a server admin or server tech. But if you create some really nice looking ones, then they might consider using them, because I agree that our cpanel skins, suck. A place where you can purchase them are here. Your should try to check out the previous sites, forums, because you might find some help there. That site mainly is about if you are a web hosting provider, and want to tune up and make us different. But the second thing is its a lot of work, people have told me and requires a ton of images. Now you can wait for a better response, and maybe OpaQue or BuffaloHELP would know, but I googled it, and the only thing that came up was that previous link. Its wierd, very hard to find, even using multiple keywords. They need to up there SEO. (cpanel corporation)
