Do you think Google is a big fake, or the whole "Google is Evil" thing is fake?

I really think that the owner of Google Watch is just trying to tarnish a perfectly legitimate company's reputation through a load of false and deliberatly mis-interpretted information.Google is the perfect un-evil company. Even their motto is "Don't Be Evil". I think they are the exact opposite of Microsuck. For example, Google is one of the best search engines in the world. You can search shops with Froogle, search images quickly and reliably, and laugh at thier yearly April Fools. MSN Search is (in my opinion) rubbish. They promote thier "more precise and poerful" engine through hours of annoying TV ads and web banners, whereas Google is all through word-of-mouth. Thier encyclopedia search is a rip-off of Wikipedia. I find thier search slow, painstaking and many times, nore irrelevant than Google. Thier April Fool's joke produced a fake search results page, mildly tailored to your choice. What use is that when practically nobody uses MSN Search anyway?Wasn't there this similar thread which pointed out the massive privacy issues in AOL?

Have you made sure you've set it up correctly?You need to set it up for each different email address you want to forward (or at least thats what it was like when I used it). Have you tried http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/? You get unlimited email forwarding from them. You could use cjb for your forwarding email and .tk as your URL.

Change your nameservers to ns1.astahost.com and ns2.astahost.comWorked fine for me!

Have you tried checking your computer for spyware? I recommend you use Microsft Antipspyware beta.Also, you could try using one of these programs that scan your registry for probs, I find they work pretty well!

My CD arrived really quickly from Microsoft. Perhaps the acutally care about their customers for once.

That is really scary! I used to use AOL for everything. My old emails could be being used for some publicity stunt in Mexico or something. I really ought to read the small print on things I sign up for... Why is everyone anti-gmail, and going on about Gmail not being private, when AOL does this? There should be a massive anti AOL movement or soemthing!

Personally, I can see nothing wrong with Gmail doing this. Its better to have small, relevant, unobtrusive ads down the side of an email than those gigantic hideous things every page of yahoo and hotmail seem to be plastered in...What everyone seems to forget is that all these other email services scan our emails too. Spam checkers, virus scanning. Its exactly the same as checking the mail to see if it's spam, except instead it being moved to a seperate folder marked SPAM, we get little relevant ads down the side.I can't see anything wrong with it what so ever.

I quite like Limewire, it runs on the Gnuttella network. Its not full of adware or spyware like Kazaa, and it works faster

Have you tried upgrading to Firefox 1.0.2? Its odd, I've never had a problem with Hotmail in Firefox (even though I don't use it much - Gmail is better!)

I thought that 50 posts was a rough estimate as to how many posts you need to get 30 credits. So as not to confuse visitors who don't know about the hosting credits before they join.

My old host (nytka.org) kept going down as well. They said it was from Ddos attacks, but how many sites get attacked twice a day every day?They've been down for ages now, so I abandoned them and came here, and I can't say I was dissapointed.

I don't use MSN much anymore. Even though Gmail doesn't provide an instant messenger service, I still like it enough to abadon hotmail.

Alienware are really cool. What they do to the Windows GUI is so cool!But, like everyone said, if you're willing to go without the flashy casing and strange Windows then you can get a similar PC much cheaper.

To be honest, I've never liked .TK.So many people get websites with them because they're free, it just seems tacky to me when I see a .TK website.$9.99 is a bit of a rip off. It isn't hard to find domains cheaper than that.

Thats really clever! I knew you could do that, but I never thought of using it to get past filters... I always stick the web address into Google and get Google's cache of it, or use archive.org's Internet Wayback machine.

Whilst GDS was in beta, I have to admit it was quite buggy.Now that Google have actually released it I think its great! I was really worried about the fact that it only searched IE history, but now Google have added Firefox intergration too.I love the way its so fast compared to windows' built in search. Because it keeps an up-to-date index, you get the results unbelievably quickly. Also, I think that the integration with the Google homepage is nice feature.

The search pages are really screwed upLook at Google results, the sponsorod ads have are overlapping the search results!I think it is a good idea, but I am worried about copyright infringment. It really doesn't look like he/she got permission to use Google's and Yahoo's logos.

I was thinking of getting PHP nuke (when I get a hosting account).e107 also looks like a good option though...
