I'm Hindu and I don't recall us observing any fasts. Our major holidays center around harvest or the birthdays of our gods and their sacred days. I wouldn't be able to give much up for 40 days. I'm not used to it. Unless it was a material object, in which case it would still depend.

Definitely a Volkswagen Beetle. They're safe, well-made, not too expensive, very cute, and I've always dreamt of having a car to drive around in. And the color would be light pink

People In The South Moving To The Us Should it be more strict.
biscuitrat replied to zachtk8702's topic in The Vent
I agree that people need better lives. We should be able to provide more methods of earning money for these people who escape their countries and bravely come to new places to start life over again. Of course, it always helps to make sure you're not letting murderers into your country, but what are the odds on that? The borders are clogged with people coming in but very few ever leave. I agree that the economy has been hurt but only because it hasn't adapted. Immigrants aren't to blame - my parents came from India so their children could live good lives. Our country has to look at these people's plights. If you can't help them, what can you do for them? -
I love their Magical Trevor. So catchy, so clever. But I was in love from the moment the words, "lots of beans" were mentioned. Beans are my passion Everyone loves Magical Trevor Because the tricks that he does are ever so clever Look at him now, disappearing the cow Where is the cow hidden right now?

I want your crazy luck. You have crazy hosting credits and crazy lottery money. I have about $50 to my name. Mine's 16 because I don't know...being a junior sounds fun, and also, in movies, the princesses get married at 16. Not anything I want to do but it was a nice fantasy when you're 3 and stupid.

My one problem is I don't get e-mail too much. I used to fill up 50 MB like that, but now that I have 250 MB and a lot less junkmail on hotmail, I use that more. I send all my newsletters and random stuff to gmail or big files. It's kind of like my archive. Msn is very slow and clunky :/

EDIT // I found it. I'm a doofus. I think you might have found yourself a convert :DWhat about the handy dandy (the kids I babysit get Blues Clues stuck in my head - it's awkward when stuff like that comes out in a conversation ) thesaurus? We writers would be bent double over our journals without it. And I'm too lazy to be bothered about going and finding a book and thumbing around in it.

Wow...very nice! I think this deserves a raise in reputation, don't you?

I'd probably say PHP - very customizable, most browsers support it, can go from being simple to very modern coding-wise. So many great things you can do with it

Very good move. IE is a horrible scar on my browser history. But Firefox is like the Betty Ford and better future of browsers. Also, what happens if you do have Xisto ads on your site? Do you get a bonus in hosting credits or what? Because I have the tall banner ad along the side of my site.

Haha, thanks. It's a work in progress. That text is about one page out of 50 which I'm constantly editing.

I actually like it a lot more now. It has fantasic brushes and it is compatible with Flash - that's why they're released together. Of course, I prefer Photoshop a great deal more because of all the freedom it gives you, but for the sake of letting loose the little artist in me, I use Fireworks.

I'm strongly against cheating online or in the real world. You're ruining the game for yourself and for others by not playing fair. And what's the fun if you can just breeze through a game? For example, in the Sims, if you constantly get the money cheat, what's the fun of playing when you can afford everything? Isn't the whole game about trying to get the family to succeed in life?

Looking For A ... Some One Good With PHP
biscuitrat replied to EricDrinkard's topic in Web Hosting Support
I found this one and I think it's what you're looking for. You can download it and install it and I'll help if you need it. -
I would edit it and make sure it isn't in such a small column and all of that.

I like it. I think you need to listen to For Good from the musical Wicked:Like a comet pulled from orbit as it passes a sun Like a stream that meets a boulder halfway through the wood Who can say if I've been changed for the better? Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.

Einstein's Quiz Quiz written by Albert Einstein
biscuitrat replied to serendib's topic in Art & Creativity
I'm only 14 too. My Latin teacher handed it out. I finished it in less than 30 minutes. You're right. It wasn't that hard to figure out. So much for Einstein! -
I think all of your songs need three things 1) A key signature and not atonal sporadics - 2) You not twanging away on the guitar and pretending it's music. I tried that with my brother's guitar when I was little and it was crap. Learn how to play before you try again. - the last time I checked, most bands don't play kazoos. Maybe a flute or something that can play notes. Thirdly, you need to learn how to sing. I take vocal lessons and I KNOW a lot of guys who can sing better. The style is mutilating to the senses, but I agree - from an intellectual point of view I guess it made you happy?Your lyrics are also very vulgar...Stuff about eating the hearts of poor dead birds and how they make you feel like a winner...it's crap...So your goal is to brush up on your guitar, your voice, get rid of the kazoo, and make music. Trust me, it's not hard to do any of them. And I'm younger than you :/Hope this didn't offend you. It's constructive criticism with a sharp edge, but I hope it helped.

Very nice. Make sure you have commas every now and then. You might want to take out the "of" in the last line. It is a bit gloomy though

I know I do. I love writing and drawing. My most recent story : Ventura is an example. I'll get everything else uploaded soon

That's kind of disturbing...most of us wouldn't like staring into that when we view your posts.
