i hate people that treat people different because they have a disability, it doesn't make them any less of a person, and they should be treated the same as everyone else. If they are mean they deserve to be told to shut up.

teenagers are going to be mean, you just have to get over it, don't let anything get to you (don't just pretend it doesn't). Also grow bigger then most of the kids in your grade, the crap from other kids will stop.............as for homeschooling, I do agree that it does hamper the social development of people, but so does actually attending school. someone invent neural imprinting already

ahh borghunter, a very good question to askI must say i do enjoy playing Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask the most out of the zelda games i've played (haven't played the ones on GC or the latest gameboy ones). Its not one particular thing about these games its the way everything fits so well together, the graphics, thr gameplay and the storyline all work toghether perfectly. I have enjoyed playing other zelda games, i still play the original NES version occasionally and loved the second game on the NES (because of the experience points) a great series of games really.

oh you can still get dr pepper here, its just expensive because it gets imported from the US. its not always hot in australia, it does depend on where you are located. for example in sydney (where i live) the temperature fluctuates anywhere between 5 and 35 degrees celcius (41 to 95 degrees farenheit) but the hot days are dealt with by going to the beach (or the pool if you're not on the coast) and drinking cold beer in the shade (one of my favourite things to do) so its never unbearable.

i must say i have just had my first "suspension" due to low credits just recently and I must say while it was annoying, it was my own fault that i didn't post. While increasing the amount of hosting credits per post is a nice idea, i don't expect it to happen. One thing that I would like to see is a way that people who make "quality" posts could get some bonus credits from the mods or admins or something similar.

i am an australian (i think we're still in iraq too last time i checked, i know we're still in afghanistan). australia is one of the best countries in the world today, the weather is pretty good all year round, the people are mostly pretty laid back and drinking lots of beer is considered a good idea by most people, of course you need to accompany the beer with a barbecue or a sporting event (cricket or footy is best) the only problem with this country is they stopped producing dr pepper here

do people regularly get cash payouts from these people or is it something that only happens every 12 months? also what amounts do you get paid? and is there a minimum amount before they send you money?

with the massive storage given to gmail accounts and how they can now log your google chat conversations there too I was expecting them to offer storage of things like bookmarks, photos, files etc using peoples existing gmail space. the way I see it if they were going to give you that space for emails why not for other stuff

i went to public school and had quite a few friends from private schools and must say they are definately different people in different environments, i know people say not to stereotype but i have found the private school kids to be quite stuck up and "*BLEEP*ier"

that is a very nice looking mouse, i personally have a logitech normal scroll mouse and keyboard that came with my pc. are the buttons aligned horizontially instead of vertically? does that make it difficult to use?

so you say that you don't believe in evolution, and instead choose to believe in god, well there are many religions out there, who is to say that you aren't following the wrong one? I personally don't believe in a "god" as such, life may have been created by some extra terrestrial life form, we may even be a science experiment for some aliens somewhere. I don't think any god could sit back and let people who follow all his beliefs get shot and tortured and raped and things like that. If that is who god is, I don't want to believe in him........also I must say that your original post seemed to me to focus a lot more on your medical issues than god/religion/science

this is a problem with telemarketing itself, I've worked in call centres like that here in australia and the demands that are placed on the staff aren't realistic and the staff end up leaving or cheating like you seem to have encountered. They expect you to not read any of the fine print and details. Also another thing that contributes to this problem is the fact that most businesses use outsourced call centres to do the work, so the people that make the sales never have to deal with the complaints. where I am now is my 3rd call centre job and I've come to the conclusions that call centres suck and companies don't care about anything except money these days. *BLEEP*s.....

i think everyone seems to agree that geocities should only be used by complete beginners, I used it myself many years ago before it was all amalgamated with yahoo (i think my old url was something like geocities/Area51/411/ who remembers those days) I also used angelfire back around the same time and found their services more to my liking so i stopped using geocities and never intend to return, now i've found Xisto and now i don't need any of these anymore

it is really up to you, I have a forum account on both forums and post where I can, when I can. you could always maintain an account at both places and run two sites, or keep an archive site, like i said, it is really up to you.

I would support an anti-IE campaign, people should speak out against things that don't work properly, don't follow the rules and are so insecure they have to release a bug fix patch every 5 minutes (ok maybe every 10 minutes ). People these days don't speak up when they receive a bad product or service, as a result, companies keep getting rich off sub-standard products

if you're receiving this message and the cables connecting you hard drive to the motherboard are connected properly you have most likely got some issue with the harddrive itself, it could be broken, but most likely when you have re-set the computer before its shutdown properly there has been some corruption of data on the drive itself. if you are of limited tech knowledge try and get a geeky mate to look at it for you, they may even be able to recover the data from the drive itself. otherwise try taking it to your local computer shop and see if they can do anything for you. If the data on it is not important to you at all, you can always look at re-installing windows and see if that fixes your issue (warning sometimes this will cause the harddrive to be formatted which will kill everything you had on there)

i don't understand why all devices aren't "web enabled" straight out of the box, it has become such an intergral part of our lives these days. the small screen size may make it a bit annoying to browse some sites but overall i think it would be a great tool for most of us.

I personally would have wanted a laptop when i was at school, I could never have afforded one when i was at that age tho... They can be incredibly useful tools, but keep in mind that you will want to back-up your notes and any school work that you keep on it because if it gets broken or stolen you could lose everything.rvalkass: if they want you to use their special operating system setup a dual boot scenario on your pc where you can boot into "school mode" to use their network.kevlar557: never assume you will get anything back that is stolen, even if the teachers search things they can't search the entire school from top to bottom and it can't be that hard to get it out of the school very quickly....

ahh girls. are you really that different a species to us guys, we have fights and *BLEEP* about each other and then go get drunk and its all good again. harbouring grudges and things like that take too much effort most of the time. my suggestion is to look for another group of friends that respect you enough that if there was an issue they would discuss it with you rather than "voting" you off the table

don't kill the server, then I can't post things and get hosting time. then my side would die the upgrade is great. the split last topic/last post things are my favourite, i like to get my teeth into the latest posts when i can. now if only you could convince my boss that he should pay me more and give me less responsibility so I can be on here more......
