Well, BuffaloHELP, here is my contribution. Free template downloads. Albeit over 100 web templates instead of one-at-a-time. I have started this thread for people to voluntarily add to. OK, everybody, lets keep this thread alive and updated frequently.

Hey, great idea kylelnsn. Yes, I am all for this idea. I make desktop/wallpapers for my site and would love to be able to use some of them in a competition; wallpaper of the week or month.

I design my own web sites. In fact I have designed some for others. Working on a church site now. I have a military site on GeoCities dedicated to my father, a web set graphics site and my own personal site. All of which I have kept as projects in progress. I use Cute html and CSE HTML Validator. For quick edits I use Notepad. I will admit to getting ideas from other sites. I do, however, modify them with my own adaptations. I won't be redundant by repeating everything above, but I do agree with most of the answers to Zabb. Where would this world be if there were not people with imaginations? The greatest discoveries and inventions of all time have come about because somebody dared to imagine their possiblities. What seems impossible to us today, may seem like common sense in the future. Besides, if you don't like the subject matter, you don't have to waste your time reading about it. Moreso, why would one waste even more of their time commenting on it? Let's all be nice to each other on here.

Well, I am SO GLAD you brought this to people's attention. What I did has worked fine and I don't get any more e-mail here at all now. Since I didn't know the mail boxes were set up automatically, I didn't know they even existed. I can just imagine how much space all that spam would have taken up over time if I had never check out those folders. Thanks to your informative post, the problem was solved and I have recovered some disk space. Thanks for your attention to detail.

Dusty seems to have gotten it worked out. My replacement CD arrived yesterday with a statement of account showing I owe nothing. When I check my account on line, it reads $0.00 due as well. I am enjoying my new CD while I am on the forum. Now maybe I can order my obligatory CD and get my remaining 6 free CDs without further ado. BTW, that phone# I found was not toll-free. But, I did borrow my daughter's cell phone to make the call. The customer service is located in Indianapolis, IN. Their drop shipper is in Greenville, SC. CDs are returned to the Greenville address, so Indianapolis dosen't necessarily know what is going on if Greenville doesn't keep them apprised of the situation. Hmm, I was right. Left hand (Indianapolis) didn't know what the right hand (Greenville) was doing. As to Mr. Absolute, I wasn't trying to make money off of anybody. I just wanted BMG to keep their end of the agreement.

My, such pessimism. Check out the forum "Freebie Stuff". I think you might find free things here from people you don't know. BTW, check out my site. All the graphics are offered for free, no strings attached. However, I will take the FREE advice from you, a person I don't know, about CD offers over the phone.

So I went in my cPanel to Mail, deleted and purged everything that was in the inbox and placed in all the e-mail directives including the default. Now I shouldn't receive anymore e-mail here, right? And I won't have unwanted mail taking up my space?

So, I have never set up an e-mail account here, but are you saying that Trap 17 automatically set them up for me? Anything that I receive in that default box will be taking up space from my alloted 150MB account? I see a folder in my file manager titled Mail and when I click on it there are two sub-folders that are present there that I didn't create and a file titled inbox that is taking up 2168K. Hmm, where can that be from when I have never set up any mail here? The two folders are empty. Can I delete them? When I view the inbox file, it contains spam mail. What happens if I delete the inbox file? What is going on here? How can this be? I am greatly confused? I have never used the E-mail Management Tools. Do I have to use this to accomplish removing the not needed or undesired boxes. I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE MAIL HERE.

Hurray, Hurray. I found a Phone # by internet search. Called it today and a girl named Dusty said she would straighten things out, send me my free CD. As well, she apologized profusely for all the trouble I have had. We will see now if things really are OK.

Well, hallalujah, thanks magiccode9. Did what you suggested and now I can use Adobe Reader in my browser. A trap 17 member to the rescue again. What can I say. Everybody around here is so helpful.

Well, just have to bring you up to date on this one. Here it is 2 months later and I am still battling with BMG. I sent back their CD using their postage paid label, right. Their invoice warned if I didn't pay what was due within 30 days, I would be charged $2.00 late fee. So I sent them the payment at the same time. Now they claim they never received the CD, so they won't give me credit. As far as they are concerned I received the CD and paid my invoice. So I am out the money and have zilch to show for it. I was supposed to receive 7 free CDs (I pay the shipping fees) and now I will only receive 6 and will pay for shipping on all 7, since credit was never issued for the one I returned. I have been corresponding with them all this time. They have never acknowledge my last e-mail. I guess I will have to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. As well, in the interim, I have received in the mail a "We want you back" offer from them. Obviously something is wrong with their whole system. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I just joined and now they want me back. Like, when did I unjoin? My account is still active at their site. As stated earlier, I cannot find a phone # to talk to a person anywhere on their site or in their correspondence. I have searched the internet and found no match to any of their addresses. If anybody happens to know how I can find out a # to call, please let me know.

Well duh, it wasn't even in there. I have corrected it now so the association path is present. However, it still doesn't work in IExplorer. But at least I don't get that annoying message. Now I just get a square with a red x in it in the upper left corner of my screen. Go figure. Well duh again, I didn't know that. Learn something new every day. Thanks a lot Tetraca.

When I click on a pdf file on my puter it pulls up in Acrobat just fine; so I guess the format is registered OK. I just don't know why I get that message sometimes and other times I don't. Went to the USPS http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and clicked on a pdf file to open from their site and got this message in little gray box titled Acrobat plug-in: Could not find Adobe Acrobat. Downloading it is not an option. The plug_ins folder is present in Adobe/Acrobat/Reader. IExplorer version 6.0.2800.1106CO and yes. Read just above. Is IExplorer looking for a copy of Acrobat or some class file or dll in "its" plug-ins folder?

I recently tried to read a pdf file from an internet site and received a message that "Acrobat Reader" program could not be found. My copy is located here: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" Where in the devil else would it be looking for the exe file? Or maybe my privacy settings won't allow access to my puter for the site to fine it? Anyway, does anybody have a clue? Also, what is this exe file? "AdbeRdr60_enu_full.exe"

Yes you spelled it right. And your statement is also right. If this has been going on for 7 days or more, you need to see a doctor. It can be signs of things like mono as well.

You have learned a very important lesson. On the internet, anyone can be anybody they want. Did she really mislead you with a fake picture or maybe a fake description? If she never gave you any clue as to what she looked like, you shouldn't have been expecting anything. Fat doesn't make one ugly. The real person is within. Since she stuck you with the check, my heart goes out to you over the money/cost aspect of the situation. I hope you didn't delete her because she is fat, but for the right reason; she is just not a nice person to have taken advantage of you like that.

Wow, that is unbelievable. I was paying over $500 bi-monthly for insurance just on myself. Since I am now on Medicare, it is costing $99.98 per person per month for the both of us to get a policy that picks up what Medicare doesn't pay. I like your plan better. We are trying to decide where to move from Michigan to get away from all the taxes here. We have never looked at Canada as a possibility, well duh. I would kind of rather move south to get away from the freezing winters, tho.

Hmm. I thought if you could ice skate fast enough that you wouldn't need the stick I'd bet that Bush will defend Texas before any other state anyway. So the northern borders don't seem to have anything to worry about. I don't know, but maybe we ought to just make Mexico the 51st State and be done with it. Is the USA financially sound enough to absorb all the economic troubles of Mexico? What do you think?
