At the moment, it's not legally wrong to grab internet from others via wi-fi in virtually all countries, but you'd probably have to agree that it is morally wrong considering those that paid for a particular speed/download limit wont be getting what they may have paid for.Recently, I just put protection on the connection due to the increase of broadband/wi-fi connections in the neighbourhood lately.. I started without a pass for the wi-fi at first, now protected.

Hitler What really happened to him in the dieing days of WWII
arnz replied to Webber's topic in General Discussion
I'd have to agree with the last poster above. It doesnt matter, even if he's still around rather than killed no one would pay attention to what he says and would likely had been trialled (and most likely immediately sentenced to death anyway). -
If the forum is large with a large amount of posts and users at the same time, then a section dedicated to "Spamming" other forums might be useful. But if its a small forum starting out and so forth, then it probably wont be a good idea because they'd be trying to get more members by needing to promote their "quality" posts and discussions.

Rugby Gamers I know this is rare but any out there?
arnz replied to quiksilver09's topic in Computer Gaming
I've seen EA Rugby around the place, but I hadnt seen any other specific Rugby games. I've played EA Rugby (various versions) before, but I don't really play it as often. -
Gotta have to admire Laxman & Tendulkar.. especially when Tendulkar started young.... although the latter might be winding down late in his career after a couple of injuries. But Ganguly being recalled to the test team recently has made me think that they are in close (if not similar) position to the "dads army" tag that many media outlets have put on the aging CA (Cricket Australian) test batsmen. However, Age isnt really a barrier considering in the early days some players played up to 40, and you got legends like Walsh, Border, etc.

What Is The Weirdest Thing You Eat? regularly or occasionally.

I just noticed the other day that down here they still sell lamb brains.. but while some may say that chicken liver is yuck... I dont find it that bad.. as long as its with something. -
Without reading most of this thread, probably not. As I said before in another thread in the debate forum, very much all religions have their nutters and "vocal" minority. Its how they are judged individually rather than a group as a whole. For example, I've met muslims that are not crazy and/or against the bombers, and so forth, and every catholic i met, many of them are nice and civil ones, and there are the few that are not so civil.

Men Are Just Happier People Men are happier than women

Being a guy, I find it much easier.. wake up for work/uni, grab some brunch, shower, throw on a shirt and shoes, get the keys and im out of here. I find that ladies, although they are good and fun to be around with (and i've been in relationships as well, but lets save the boyfriend/girlfriend relationships for another thread!) takes a fair while to get ready. For example, they take a while in the shower, then another fair bit to do their hair/makeup/etc, and end up leaving on the last minute -
Poll Here:how Long Do You Use The Computer? How long?
arnz replied to lud@m@n's topic in General Discussion
I'd have to say in 5 hours sessions when really bored.. (ie forums, chat, and so forth).. around 2-3hours when it comes to university assignments/research, and filing out accounting reports and the like. When I'm really bored, I just visit the usual forums and chat, like this one (Trap 17 of course ), the colosseum sports forums, skyscrapercity and so forth. Then again, I'm also a mod on a reasonably busy sport forum as well (its run by volunteers rather than a commercial site), it took ages and work to make that place active wit sports discussion, the same like any other busy forum site like here on Xisto. -
Looks good, but personally I would probably wait a while untill the bugs of Vista is ironed out before getting a upgrade. I havent forgetten those days (before Windows XP) when many were getting the infamous Windows 98 Third edition...errr I meant Windows ME.. and many reverting back to Windows 98 Second Edition as a result.

My apologies for dragging religious into this, but according to a few of em... they were speaking the same language before it was changed to different languages to prevent them from building a "great pyramid" of some sort.Ok, out of that, I'd have to say variety is one of the functions that keep the earth functioning.. if its the same language, they may be many benefits from doing so, but would increase boredom out of speaking the same language (Another example is if accents were changed from many to the one and the same, it'll also yield out the same result, boring.. as many different accents can be interesting).

I remember the days when AOL tried to bombard users with the free 60/90 days CDs with their n00bish like browser and connection. Then again, AOL's share has been falling, but as others said being in one of their plans are a pain to cancel.

http://www.flash-game.net/ has over 2000 games in their database atm. It also has the top 10 games listed on their front page.

Something that is not possible yet, yet I'm sitting on the fence on this one. As for God and Heaven, I'll take it into mind, but I'm probably yet to be totally convinced considering the many religions, and its variations, names and so forth.Although somewhere out there in space, if there was a "Hole" that lead elsewhere, I would like to visit another dimension, in which the people may possibly be the same but different outcomes in a few (or many) ways.

I remember when Sega's Virtual racing came out... it was advanced for its time (1994)... but it didnt last long before the likes of Daytona and Sega Rally came out the next year.

Down here, I think there is no law against using other people's wi-fi but I definitely there is a law being drafted up for those that may "steal" other people's wi-fi bandwith. But security-wise, any future connections IMO should really automatically come with a security setting so that a password is needed when setting up a connection.I definitely agree its rude & unfair to steal other people's download bandwith, but I agree there should be some regulations/laws/rules stopping people from getting unauthorized access to wi-fi internet connections.

I dont really tend to believe dreams tell the future, however there has been some deja vu in them. But still, a dream of being re-born your life is interesting so whatever that person did wrong, and if he can make it right.. they have a second chance. But I tend to remember some dream for ages, especially when it comes to later situations.

Might purchase it and see how it is like... 2004 version was pretty good, although i agree 2005 wasnt really as good riddled with error.

Wolfenstein and Doom pretty much started the 3D craze back then. With many similar games, Duke Nukem being one of them. But usually the noted ones make the list. Just a shame that Duke Nukem Forever seemed to be held back and back over time.... The wikipedia entry at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_Nukem_Forever pretty much explains it imo.

Hmmm..would be interesting if they were reported for blantant copyright if they were just copying someone else's work with only minor variations.

Grand Turismo when it comes to any console game, but in regard to the old arcade machines... nothing beats Daytona USA... use to fly through it on the advanced course on those machines.
-
Probably heavy metal and rock before the fight actually starts imo, during the fight.. probably either rock or techno depending on the pace and standard of the fight...Throw on some sound effects if the pace of the fight suddenly slows (ie the Matrix), or speeds up .. (beats go faster).

Do You Think A Woman Would Be A Better President?
arnz replied to JasperIk's topic in General Discussion
It doesn't matter who runs for president and/or whichever gender, or race, or origin manages to win the office of US President. All that many are concerned about is that the person who won office is capable to perform the job and perform to the best of their ability without corruption. If they can handle politics, and handle situations well, as there is always bound to be parties which may disagree with a presidents' decision (for example, IR Laws, unions, etc), by all means they should be able to perform their duties well. -
I heard about those in New Zealand that are able to get their L plates at 15 and a half, their Ps at 16 iirc.. but they are some driving restrictions involved for those on P plates in NZ.. It was something to the affect of carrying passengers at particular times, but being across the Tasman, I would have no idea what exactly the restrictions are there.

I know a bit of French and Tagalog (filipino). Learning Chinese would be an interesting challenge, but I'd definitely would not learn writing the symbols... it'll probably take a while to remember imo!
