If we talk about free antivirus two names come in the mind. Avast and AVG. Both are good antivirus. Updates used to come on daily or alternate day. Both are not resource hogs like Norton. You search the internet and compare both of them according to your needs.

I am using Adsense on my website since last 3 or 4 months. I would like to say that it is a good program. Although I don't have a lot of visitors to my site so my earned money is very less. But I am happy with their money calculating formula. I have read once ( I don't remember where???) that Google calculate the money on the basis of type of ads. For example - computer related ads generate more revenue. The ads qualtity is also good on the site and it is related to the content of the respective page on which ad is displayed. There are a lot of customizable features so that you can cutomize the adsense according to your needs.I will recommed adsense to you.

I have used Microsoft Antispyware and It is a good tool. The most important thing in it is that it has real time scanning which is not available in all other free anti spywares like - Spybot, Ad-aware etc. But I think it takes a lot of memory to run as I have feel. But this may be due to the fact that my computer is Windows XP on 128 MB ram only. ( Don't worry I am soon going to upgrade it to 512 MB)

I will recommend you a very good HTML editor . It is NVU ( http://www.nvu.com/).Originally it was for Linux but now the windows version is also available. It is very easy to use and the html code presented by this is very clean comparing to other editors. If anybody have no money to buy Dreamweaver (which is the best) then NVU is the best option.Go for it.

I am also agreed with the other membres here. Hosting Credits should be put above as they was earlier. There are a lot of flaws in the current skin. I think the adminisistrators has installed the skin for testing here. If it is than it is very bad.This skin is very bad for above 800*600 monitor resolution monitors.

First I was using Norton but it is the worst anti virus I feel because it is a resource hog. So sooner I have migrated to Avast and it is a preey good antivirus and it is free. I am totally agreed with NeverSeen in this regard. Yesterday I have also downloaded AVG just for testing it. I think it is also a good antivirus.The poll options in this poll are not correct. It is true that 1st page 2000 is a good html editor. Its interface is very good. It has three modes for work. I don't remember the name of modes but these are for beginner, medium and professional persons I think. Its help is also very good. And yes the in built pre written scripts are very good for beginners.But these is one serious problem in it. I have also faced it and some other users have faced it . The problem is that when you install it a virus will also install with it. I have tested it many times and I have faced the same thing. I am fortunate that my antivirus has blocked the virus. I don't know who is behind this?????? So it is a good tool to use but never install it without using a antivirus on your computer.Has anybody else faced this problem?????

Although I have never used Linux operating system but I have worked on NVU on windows. This is a pretty good and easy web editor. After Dreamweaver I will vote for NVU on windows. And as Dreamweaver is not available for Linux I think NVU will be a good web design tool for Linux users.

HI Leigh, Oracle is a famous DataBase Management System (DBMS). Now I am sure that question comes in your mind - what is DBMS????? For this you have to learn first what is "Data". In every phone book phone nos are arranged in Alphabetical order ie on first page there will be names starting with A and so on. If their is no such order if will be difficult for you for finding the phone numbers of your friends. This phone book(System) had followed a rule so that your phone no and friend names ( Data) can be arranged (Managed) in such a way so that you can retireve the information very easily. This is very small DBMS . In the corportate filed where big companies and organaisation have to manage their data they need big and powerful DBMS softwares. I don't know that this search engine is the oldest or not but I am 100% sure that this is a very very bad search engine. I have searched words like Microsoft , Yahoo and a lot of results come but not Microsot.com or Yahoo.com. And even worse when I serached Google not a single result come. What type of a search engine it is??????

We can say that it acts like a firewall. I would hightly recommend it to anyone who want their system safe from attacks. Now a days I am using only Microsoft Antispyware because I think it is the best of these all althought AdAware is also good one to use. In the recenlty Download.com shootout Adaware was on top of list. But the reason for me to choose Microsoft AntiSpyware against Adawere is real time scaning which is not available in the later.

I have never worked on MySQL but by reading the post of members it seems that it is really a worth to try it. I have learned Oracle in my Masters in Computers but I feel that Oracle is not much user friendly. Now I am working on MS SQL Server and I like working on it. It is very easy to use and the in built help is very good like any other Microsoft products. I like the StoredProcedures and User Functions in it. These two helps me a lot in solving a lot of difficult queries. So SQL Server is best for me but I will give a try to MySQL soon.

Until now I have Xisto subdomain for my site but now I have registered a paid top level domain name for myself. Now I want to use that for my site so I go to my CPanel and from there to Parked Domain section. When I enter my domain name in the text box and click on the add domain button I receive the error I have alrealy pointed my domain name towards NS1.astahost.com and NS2.astahost.com nameservers in my domain control panel. Why I am gettinig this problem? Can anybody help. Thanks in advance.

I was having Norton at first when I purchased my computer and I have feel that it is really a big resource hog. Then I have make switch to free version of Avast and it is better than that. Now my computer which is AMD Athlon 2.4 is not as slow as it was in the time of Norton. I have also not faced any problem of virus or spyware. ( May be the reason of that I use Firefox instead of IE).

.tk service was very good in starting. There was days when my free domain was .tk but later visitors of my site has complained of the annoying popup ad when they hit my index page. I have tried a lot to disable the popup in the .tk control panel but it was useless. Then I make a switch to .co.nr domain (http://www.freedomain.pro/) and I have this since a very longtime and never faced any problem so far. I would suggest everyone to give a try to that.

I have also make some of these mistakes at first and I feel embarassing when the visitors of my website has told me about them.
