Although Visual Studio.net is a great IDE but it is not compulsory to use it for developing .net applications. ASP.net applications can also be developed in notepad itself. But if anyone want to use any IDE than Webmatrix is also a good tool and it is free.There are a lot IDE's available for C++ and I am sure that VS.net is not the best for this. They would be a lot better and cheap alternatives.Offcourse I am using VS.net because it is given us by our company in my office but I would not buy it personally because alternatives are available.

Anyway there is also a site https://www.google.com/earth/ which shows very good view of different places of earch. There is a lot of information available on the site relating to the world.

It is good that Google had launhed Google Bar for firefox. The industry is giving importance to Firefox. But this toolbar is of no use for me. As Jeigh has said I am pretty satisifed with the Search box infront of the address bar. I did not like any of the toolbars because they takes the space of my broswser. I have only one single toolbar is my firefox. I have hide Navigation and Bookmarks toolbar also. But for the persons who were using Googlebar , the new google toolbar from Google will help.

Today I have heard about Hotbot first time. so just for knowledge i have gone to hotbot.com but I have not found anything bad in this search engine. It used Google and Ask Jeeves for searching. The interface is pretty simple and good.Can you please tell why you don't like Hotbot????????

If you have mistyped Windows Explorer instead of internet explorer than search this forum for post realted to firefox and you will soon find out why everyone should use Firefox. Or if you don't have time to searching the forums go to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ download firefox from there for free and soon you will find out why firefox is better than Internet explorer. And if you don't mistyped the word and you mean by Windows Explorer itself than it is OK . You did not need to search anything on the fourms and you also don't need to download the firefox. Just increase your computer knowledge.

Thanks cassandra for your help. By your post it is clear that I can have both Winxp and 2000 server on my machine. In our office we already have win98 and win2000 server on the same C drive on many machines. Although I know that it is better to install two O/S on difference drives. But by installing them on the same Drive saves a lot of time and space because we don't need two versions of every software. But my one more question is still unanswered. Can I install Win2000 server after winxp that is already installed. I know the order of various O/S installation is Win95 > win98 > winNT > winXp but I am not sure about Win 2000 server and win xp which should be installed first???????

Hi, I have windows xp SP2 installed on my computer. Now I want windows 2000 server also on the same computer. Is it possible???? If yes, than can I install 2000 Server on the existing XP or I have to format my system and than again I have to install first 2000 server and than XP??Thanks in advance.

Hi, Now a days there are two different technology for mobile phones in the world. (1) CDMA -Code Division Multiple Access(2) GSM - Global System for Mobiles based upon TDMA ( Time Division Multiple Access) There are some countries where GSM is the major technology and CDMA has entered recently like India. On the other side there are some countries where CDMA is the main technoloy and GSM has entered recently like USA, Canada as far as I know.What you think about these. I mean which technology you like and why??? And which will win in the race between these two in the future.

Google is definaltey the fastest search engine. And it is most popular also. When I check my websites statistics I always find that almost 95% of redirections to my websites come from Google .MSN,Yahoo and any other search engine share only 5%. But now a days MSN is the fastest in indexing any website. My website first indexed on MSN than on Yahoo and in the last on Google.

After reading this post I have downloaded it , used it for 5 minutes and uninstalled it. Why????Because I have compared the page quality of both Adobe and Foxit . The pdf page quality displayed by foxit was very bad. Sometimes it was unable to read the page.So I am stick with Adobe Reader.

This is the easiest vote I have casted in my life so far. I don't think it is needed to tell to whom I have voted.......Offcourse Firefox.This browser is truly amazing. There were days when I used to get a lot of spywares/viruses through IE but now there is no problem like this. First I have installed Firefox at my home. Now I am forcing my office collegues to use Firefox instead of IE. ( It is really a tough task because some of my collegues have never heard about this because we are partner of Microsoft.)

ForecastFox is also one good extension to check the realtime weather of your city and alsothe coming days forecast.PDF Download is also good because PDF files are not downloaded corrcectly in firefox. This extension helps in that situation.Auto Copy is also helpful when you need a lot of text copying from Firefox. Just select the text and copying over.

I also use Open Office for creating PDF files from .doc files. Just click on a button and PDF file is ready. You don't need any other software for doing so. Open Office is a good replacement for MS Office if you don't want to spend money on purchasing MS Office.

Gmail is the winner without any doubt. Its super speed, simple and easy interface, no banner ads and offcourse 2 GB space are uncomparable to any other mail provider. And it is still in Beta. I think it will improve a lot when the first version will be release in public.So Gmail all the way.

The main thing is not that IE7 will be better than any other browser like Firefox or not. People will migrate from Firefox to IE7 this is also not an issue. The important thing for me that Microsoft has upgrading its browser after a long time and it is a good sign.I hope they will come with a great product.

Sorry for replying late. But I have done the same thing. I am also a vb progrmmer. The form was running well. I have entered the text also but there was no change it Start button. I am using win2000 server.

First I used Dreamweaver but I did not like it. Than I have tried HTML-KIT and 1st Page.Both are good specially HTML-KIT. But then I was busy in my work and did not have time to write html code so I decided to go back with Dreamweaver. This time I carefully learn its features and I found that it is super tool. It has option for working either in WYSIWYG or HTML code. Now I am enjoying Dreamweaver for my home as well as in my Job.

Although I have never used it but I have heard that GIMP is the best image editing tool for free if you don't have money to purchase Photoshop. I hope it will fulfill your need.

Yes, This post has no meaning. There should be description of the error. How your mails reach in bulk??? I have never seen that your inbox mails automatically move to bulk folder.The only suggestion I have it that moderators move this post to Bulk Folder (Junk Posts). And there is no option here to move your posts back from Bulk Folder here at Xisto.

I have used RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, Winamp, Jet Audio. Amongh these winamp is better. But the best is Quinessential Player whihc I have found just some months back. It is amazing media player. I can't think of a player other than it whose interface is easier than it. The sound quality is also very good and it is also takes very less RAM.Although it is not very famous but give a try to it and you will love it.
