It sounds like the hdd may have been knocked loose. Be careful when opening it, making sure no little springs jump out and get lost in the process and make sure everthing is secured properly.I have a spam warning for short posts, is this answer long enough?

The GOLDEN RULE is never, Never, NEVER... download crap from Microsoft, and I mean ANYTHING, including PATCHES...UPDATES, and SECURITY PATCHES, until they are at least 4-6 months old.When have you even know Bill Gates and Microsoft turn out ANYTHING that someone else didn't have to fix? uhm I'm not sure but the folders should have the chmod setting to 777, and not the listed 0755. The folders probably need both read and write capabilities.Also, make sure the file extentions are set to accept the files you are attempting to upload. In addition, make sure the file sizes are within the acceptable range set by the program, most of the time these can be changed in the Admin section of the program.

The Horde database is an Admin function to set up on the server, unless you all have set this up differently, he can't do anything accept Admin what he creates. But then he may not have set it up right either.I'm sorry for questioning an Admin, but I'm not familiar with the set up here and I'm going by my past experiences.

1) Check very closely to verify you have the correct ftp addy, look for periods and slashes you may have missed.2) Check with the Admin and make sure they gave you the correct ftp addy.3) Check for compatibility issues between your ftp program and the Server program the server is using. If the server reccomends a certain one use that program. If not use ws_ftp Pro or ws_ftp lite, both work great.4) If these fail, get a new account name. It occasionaly occurs that a server(s) may have a problem with an account name, don't ask me why cause I don't know, sometimes they just do. Just get a new name...5) If these don't work.... there's nothing I can do for ya =) lol

I'm downloading the program now, I'm currently working on flash so getting to it will not be anytime soon, but I will get to it.

1) Use a crossover cable,2) Connect it to both pc's,3) Enable file sharing on both pc's4) Name network: WORKGROUP 5) Drag and drop files onto new pc 6) Disable file sharingor just burn the information on cd's and convert it over that way.

Dude, go to Dell.com and buy the cheapest pc they have, this will fit your needs. On the same tiken, you don't have to put it together and it comes with a warranty, not to mention all the peripherials needed.Typically I support building your own, but here lately between bad parts and greed, for what you're looking for, just go dell...

I checked them out, they sound nice, but there is a philosophy in electrionics that everyone needs to understand and adhere too, "What you pay for is what you get" $499.00 for a computer? thats what you're going to pay for a good video card for a gaming pc! The only option to having a gaming pc without the high price is to build it yourself.On the same token, read up on the 64bit issues, because it's probably NOT worth going to right now... way to many compatibility issues. I would suggest waiting another 6-8 months before even considering that move. Re-evaluate it then and make a decision.

Uhm, one should make it a point to say that messing with anything in the registry can be hazardous to your pc's heatlh.

I would never dare to tell anyone how to confirm people into authoritative positions, but considering the massive input here, and the experiences I have had in the past 5 years of hosting sites, unless you know these guys very well, I would keep them at a distance. I would have a "backup" ready just incase. Unless you know what you are deleting, this delteing process (altho effective) can cause some headaches

I was never impressed with mambo. Php-Nuke always seemed to have more options available and easier to work on.Another option is if you're using ws_ftp pro chmod the file to 777 and the try to delete it via the ftp. It should work.

My ScreenRecorder works a lot better than fraps. It costs tho, but not to much.

I didn't know this option was available, I'll have to mark this and use it!

The font creator is one of the better ones as well as user being friendly.
