  1. I'm from over 'here' (ie; aus) aswell and some of the shops are a bit of a rip off. I'm planning to get the 6600GT 128mb AGP card, nintek.com.au has it down at $199 now I believe.
  2. nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128mb AGP card, from what I've heard it runs de_inferno (Counter-Strike Source) up to 180fps (or some high figure) and de_inferno is a pretty graphicly intense map . Though you probabaly should listen to Kam or somebody who knows what they're talking about,
  3. It does run smoothly generally. Just when it comes to 'heated action' the FPS drops down dramaticly. I'll probabaly wait till' January some time for the price to drop a bit, cause the 6600GT still costs a fair bit.
  4. Check out XP Games, they have an array of catagories, all the games are free to download. I'm not sure that you'll find qaulity FPS games to the standard of America's Army and Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
  5. Microsoft Windows XP ProfessionalService Pack 2 Intel Celeron 4A, 2433 MHz (6 x 406) 512mb of Ram 80gb Hardrive Radeon 9200 (Planning on upgrading to a 6600GT soon) I think that's it.
  6. Because then you can do things you can't do in the real world?
  7. GTR by a mile, Live 4 Speed and those kind of games blow Need for Speed out of the water, we're talking about best games right?Sure Need for Speed is a fun game but certainly isn't the best.
  8. I use to prefer Virtual Worlds like AWABA when they were around, free and fun to build, but sadly no longer exists, or atleast to my knowledge.
  9. I'd like to create a font set, just unsure how to, can somebody possibly either create a short tutorial or point me in the right direction (Maybe google.com ).Cheers,
  10. I personally think it's a little bit too busy and is somewhat hard to make out the render. I'm not a fan of the bar either and the text needs to stand out a bit more, maybe use a normal font instead of a pixel font? It's not too bad.
  11. I also use Limewire, well on a rare ocassion as I'm personally not into downloading music as I'd prefer to have it on CD. Seems to work like a treat though, easy to use interface and pretty good download times.
  12. I don't like it either and personally don't think a brand called 'Farmer Boy' with a monkey as a logo would sell too well, well atleast I wouldn't buy one. The qaulity of the image is also poor.:cool2:
  13. I find that it lacks alot of depth. I'd suggest that you try using multiple layers and then you can blend in your layers and add different kind of filters and thus give it more depth. The text doesn't stand out much and the logo underneath it doesn't seem to really look to be apart of the text, overall it doesn't seem to blend together with the background well. Not too bad I guess just kinda bland. :huh:Oh and techocian I love your sig.
  14. I completely agree. It's the fact that the brand sells and not to mention that those adverts are pretty cool, they've made sillhoutes (sp?) cool.I myself am not a big music enthusiast so I don't listen to a whole lot of music and don't need a whole lot of room, so I've got a Creative Mp3 player which is suffice.
