Why do you need dyndns? Do you need it in order to reach your computer through his name? Then, you need the computer to be running each time you need to reach it?

This error frequently comes if the battery saving your cmos settings is out of order.usually rebooting allows the keybord to work again, and you can press F1 or F2 and continue working. If this is the case, you will have to leave your PC plugged on the AC outlet, else you will have this problem each time you remove the power cable.

A Note To All Illegal Windows Xp Owners
yordan replied to prosorcerer's topic in Websites and Web Designing
If you want to run Microsoft Windows on any PC, you have to buy a Microsoft Windows license. It's as simple as that.An upgrade license is used for upgrading a legit copy, not for legitimating an illegal copy. -
Currently watching the TV, classical music over a very boring movie.

How To Defrag MFT, Pagefile etc. On Boot?
yordan replied to Chesso's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Wow! thanks a lot! I never noticed that "wipe MFT Freespace box".Of course it was checked in my settings, but I did not know that the job was done! By the way, I guess that this will not shrink the MFT, it will only cleanup. -
I guess that these weather conditions would make you avoid using your smarphone.

Yeah, seems a nice step toward electronical paper for privite personal usage.I dislike the need to use both hands for manipulating it, but for outside usage when weather is cold, why not?

I had this info as a header on top of gmail : google buzz will stop in a couple of weeks.I didn't use it, and I didn't really know how useful it was supposed to be, nevertheless it disappears.

You need to heat simultaneously the metal part as well as the solder drop and a little bit of extra solding material. This will be easier with a real solder kit. You must simultaneously heat the three parts until you see a small ball popping around the place when you want it be solded.

In a perfect world, there would be a sniffer scanning your hardware and saying "You have a BlahBlah adapter, click here in order to download an install it.

Precisely as stated : archiving files is for archiving purposes. You archive a lot of files you don't need for daily use, they are present but in archived state ; you bring them back as soon as you need one of them, but you don't need all of them simultaneously available all the time.

Just send me a PM and I will merge the two parts you were mentionning. And, yes, you are right, the current version of the forum allows topics modifications only during a short period of time.

That was the "air cooling" mentioned by Duke. It's a funny device you put under your laptop, this device has a fan blowing towards your laptop. I also used a poor-guy trick : I used two dictionaries in order to raise the laptop ten centimeters above the table, and this helped me during an installation which was always continuously stopped by overheating troubles.

I would use tar, and gzip the tar file. 7zip should be able to read it, but *.gz or *.tgz would be more universal, and should be read by any Unix system as well as 7zip on Windows.

Currently, it's Firefox on Microsoft Windows. I expected Firefox to behave exactly the same way on Linux ?
-
Sorry, but I didn't understand what you are talking about. On my Firefox screen, if I right-click on a tab, I see "New Tab" and if I choose this it opens a new tab. Are you mentioning this, or are you talking about something completely different?
