  1. uh, i looked around and i still can't find the topic you two are talking about. Is it in this forum? well, anyways...i still don't have an answer to my original question: Can I post in forums that do not increase my post count and still be considered an 'active member'? er...i don't post questions very often...but i'll try to make more topics if i could think of something witty to say =P
  2. so the "program" is for the list of php objects/commands/functions? Hmm...if so, i'd have to agree with thedevil and say that php.net has all you could possibly need in the PHP Dcoumentation
  3. Well currently:THe Calling - Believeslow, nice song. Plus really fun to play on the guitar when you're in the mood for something easy heh, easy is good =P
  4. I know the staff here says you have to "stay active" ....but does it have to increase my post count? I mean, can I strat posting at the lobby, gaming, or other forums and still be considered active? Cause there has been very few new topics in the computer section recently and I'm having a difficult time posting
  5. library program? what's that suppose to be? WHat do they do?
  6. i've got myself a simple 25gig HD. But i always download all my excess junk (music, files, videos, graphics, applications) onto a data DVD-R. So 25 is plentiful for my needs
  7. yea.....second or third time it's happened recently. But don't worry...just wait an hour or two and it's usually back up. Nothing too serious
  8. a list? Uh...i don't think anyone could actually name them off right here cause there's a bunch of them...but here's a site that contains them all: http://docs.oracle.com/javaee/1.4/api/index.html you'd have to fish around to find what you want.
  9. i think that soleimanian is looking for a more complex preloader which will also inform the user how far into the preloading is the .swf file. I guess he/she could put a "loading images" image on the first frames...
  10. https://www.freetranslation.com/ but like some of the other people said earlier....the grammer may be a bit off...but i always thought this site was fairly accurate how you can tell if a site is translating word for word is to write a somewhat complex sentence in English. Translate it through one of these sites. Copy the result and then translate it back to English. If it matches word for word...then you know it's a bad translator which disregards phrases and grammatical errors.
  11. i actually don't have much of a problem with frames....but it's just that php could be just as effective as frames...and it would be able to run much much faster anyways =P so why use frames anymore?
  12. heh, coding is good and all....but i just can't see how coding a site could be more fun to do =P
  13. this is weird. Why is everyone seeing different pictures? I personally can see the second one...that's the one which looks like a purplish night sky.
  14. lol, i have to admit...i didn;t catch it first. But it's funny nevertheless. I guess not all their employees are completely loyal to Microsoft =P

    Wordpress

to me all blogs are the same. I can't seem to find a major difference in any of the blog scripts. I have yet to find one that is noticably better then the rest
  16. i have nothing directly against it...but they are just annoying to some people. Plus, most of the time, they will load slowly....because now you are loading more then just one page
  17. heh, I use SpywareBlaster to prevent too many stuff from installing. Then every once in a while I'd run X-Cleaner and Ad-Ware to kinda clean anything that had been messed with. It's worked well thus far...i haven't found the need to reconfigurate/rebuild my computer for over a year now and it runs just as fast as it did since the last time i reconfiged it.
  18. well, no one did anything about it...so i guess the staff will let this one slide. It gives somewhat good info if you didn't know whether or not cpanel was good...
  19. eh....i wouldn't trust that kind of 'powder.' I'd rather not go through that mess...and later find some kind of side affect that'll harm me in the future. Same with coffee. I hate drinking coffee.
  20. lol, much too time-consuming for such a simple picture in my opinon. I could never find the time to construct pictures in that method
  21. yea....i too use Infranview. It's fast, easy, and it doesn't give me any problems at all. I don't have much use for it anymore...but it'sstill installed in my comp
  22. Eh, I have one made by iRiver, which has 128 mb of space, and a iPod Mini with about 3 gigs of space. The iPod is a bit excessive, but I like it anyways
  23. whoa...that's crazy! Needing more posts for his hosting? Psh, it's obviously the the reverse song thingie.
  24. html generator? Wed design software? Well, i don't use a html editor/generator, but I've heard Dreamweaver is one of the best. Of course it's not free...but i know of no others. And for web designs, GAIM is suposed to be good...and i think that is free...not too sure though. I personally use Photoshop
  25. hmm, same here. Firefox didn't load the site for me, but IE did. I wonder why...well, it just shows that no browser is completely perfect
