  1. definistely graphics designing! I love designing sites. I've made so many layouts for my sites... lol, I'd make multiple designs when I'm bored =P
  2. eh....a lot of people had been talking about how 'good' Swish is....never ever tried it. The only flash program I've used is Flash MX.
  3. well, personally, I like php. Easy to use...makes navigation a whole lot easier as well. PHP all the way
  4. Cinema 4D. I based my banner of this new forum of mine (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) off a Cinema 4D abstract model...and people seem to like it
  5. eh....i'm not a big fan of using portals or anything...just a simple notepad and a ftp application is enough for me. As well as emails submitting materials to my site... ^_^but i know of many people who relies heavily on these things so I'm sure they're thankful lol
  6. uh sure...well, what program do you use to create your Flash works? Do you have a sample or something of your previous works? Cause I'm not quite sure what the point of this topic is...
  7. lol, yea....a bit annoying to be typing like that >.>And I seriously cannot load up this site of yours. Maybe i'm pushing the wrong buttons or something....but I'm having a difficult time seeing whatever is on this website
  8. i dunno...what's PHP Nuke? Isn't it a template install for news/info/etc? Hmm..never used it. I like to stick with simple cut and dry custom php and html
  9. heh, I use to use a very bad photo hosting website...can't remember the link/url ...i'll go look it up later to warn you guys to never check there lol
  10. well, i'm not sure of why the topic starter would...but personally i have to change to a differerent ip address then change back because a certain server doesn't allow to connect to them *cough*ezboard*cough*. But actually recently I haven't found a need to do that...cause i left ezboard and all their stupid glitches
  11. i'm not a very big fan of tutorials...but if i had to refer to one...i prefer to visit http://www.pixel2life.com/. Nice place for any kind of tutorials, ranging from graphic applications to scripting.
  12. CSS is a very important tool in my opinon. It is capable of making the smallest changes...to dynamic ones, depending on how you use it. I suggest going to http://www.pixel2life.com/ for anything you may need svain
  13. hmm...i don't know. Does it really matter how you created the outcome? As long as it works...it really shouldn't matter if you used Dreamweaver, Frontpage, notepad, or any other editor. I don;t think any way is more "professional" then the other...
  14. well, FireFTP is decent if all you plan to do is CHMOD files and/or delete a few things. But, again, if you plan to upload many files (as in more then fifty)...it's not worth it.
  15. lol, getting invites doesn't mean as much anymore. In time, I'm sure google will just drop the idea and let everyone have an account for free. I have to admit it was a fair idea though =P
  16. lol, I also saw that fight. Shoot, I blame that one fan who started it by throwing a cup of beer at Indiana. Everything was just chaotic after that. Sheesh...
  17. hmm...if you bought a CD, why would you need to rip it? Wouldn't it be easier just to stick it into the driver? Maybe I'm just old-fashion like that lol, but i don't like using my comp as a music player
  18. well...i use AceFTP...but what I wanted to say is that FireFTP (an extension for firefox) is one of the worse FTP applications. Don't even bother trying it if you plan to ftp many files. I liked the idea of being able to ftp files right from my browser...but FireFTP is just waayy too slow
  19. I dunno. Even though i know google is monopolizing the web...i still have to hand it to those guys. They created a very good search engine.
  20. I find Google's ranking system rather confusing. I always had. I prefer to just block out all this misc information people give me and just think that it is based on popularity ^.^ it makes my life so much easier lol
  21. Well, first off...I'm not really into PC gaming...so what I look for in the OS is different from what you are probably searching for. I think that Microsoft's OS is good. I've went through other alternatives before, but I much prefer Windows. I don't think they'll be going down anytime soon. I don't doubt that they will ever fall, but for the moment Microsoft still has control
  22. lol, it sounds cool...but I really don't mind the old-fashioned mouse on pad technique =Pbut its still amazing how far we're advancing in technology
  23. what are the advantages of using GIMP? (besides it being free?) Just out of curiousity...I personally use Cinema 4D and Photoshop...but i've heard of many users that choose GIMP instead...
  24. hmm...i dunno if I changed my dynamic IP address or what...but my router lets me change my ip address as well and it takes much less effort then your technique =P just a note: i think it would be wise to type "ipconfig /renew" in the command prompt window (cmd) after the last step...cause some computers wouldn't make the change without first renewing it...
  25. hmm...yea, I've seen people do this before. I don't know if it's really all the necessary though...cause it the .nrg, .iso, .cue, and .bin extensions are rather large files...unless of course you ripped it off a CD that really isn't yours.. =P
