  1. How long did you commit to one method? It takes more than just a couple of tweets and 2 articles to get traffic and start generating money. If you are going to seo route it could take a couple months before you start getting any kind of results, but then the efforts just keep on compounding and you build up from there. Dont give up, keep going!
  2. pay per lead is where you generate an income every time you are able to generate a lead for a specific product or service. Usually they will provide an affiliate link with a landing page. When you drive traffic to that page and someone opts in for more information then you get paid.
  3. I have made some money off of google adsense buy my biggest hurdle is always getting them to place relevant ads to my site. It seems that I always have to monitor them intensly before they start placing anything worth while. Does anyone else experience this same issue?
  4. paypal is basically just an intermediary to exchange funds from one account to another. They don't charge the person who is purchasing, just the seller. If you are looking to open up an ecommerce site then I would check out their fees at: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-payments-standard
  5. PPC stands for pay per click. It is a method of advertisement that google uses where you place an ad on a site, if someone clicks on your ad then you get charged a certain rate. The good thing is that you can generate traffic right away, but you have to make sure you can convert that traffic into profits. If so, you can scale up and increase profits, if not, you have to work on your conversions.
  6. Try using a CPA model - most programs will supply high converting banners and you get paid if they submit an email address.
  7. I would say try to maximize the gift card as much as you can. Google adwords can be very good if you have tested your marketing funnel. If your site can convert profitably then I would go from a PPC model to a CPM model where your profits will get even better. Adwords is not the place to start testing your funnel for optimization as clicks can now be very expensive depending on the market you are in.
  8. My sites usually just take a couple of days to actually get indexed - trying to get a good ranking is something completely different! Make sure your title contains your keyword, your description contains your keyword and that the content contains your keyword(s) several times. Indexing is usually not the problem if you have done those 3 things, at that point is about link building.
  9. its not spam - they opted into your list and can opt out at any time. I have several list and have provided quality content to my lists. Spam is junk, my content isn't!
  10. Earning money online doesn't have to be that hard, we just tend to over-complicate things. For those that are on a tight budget, go after an established product or service, find some keywords associated with that product/service that have high traffic and low competition and start creating content around those keywords. Before you know it, you will have a lot of visitors and start creating some sales. I know that when I first started it seemed impossible with all the information out there. Just keep it simple and you will stick with it!
  11. can you share on how you are driving traffic to these sites? SEO or paid?
  12. Can you share any information on how you are able to make money online or how you plan on networking to make money together? This would be interesting to know before hand.
  13. No follow sites still give boosts in rankings, rest assured. They are obviously not as powerful as dofollow sites, but if you had the choice to take them or not I would definitely say to take them.
  14. Google has pretty much deemed a link exchange useless! If you want good quality links you must get a link from a relevant, high PR site. Other very good options are writing articles and submitting to directories as google assigns authority to these sites and it will be passed down to yours. My advice would be to not over complicate the process. Get as many links as possible from relevant high quality sources and your site will do well.
  15. Internet marketing is real and profitable but, as with anything, it takes time, persistence and patience.
  16. You are right - someone has to be there for those specific keywords - might as well be you!I would just be cautious as to how they are building those links for you, are they manually submitting them or is it a software? How relevant are the sites that they are linking from? Are they spammy? If so, google hates that and will penalize you for it.Also, yes you can build them and probably do a better job yourself. That is how I first got started and it worked well for me, its a little time consuming but definitely worth the experience. Also, how competitive was the keyword? How much commercialism could you get out of them? How much traffic did each keyword get? So many questions to ask when entering a market...good luck!
  17. I think you are definitely on the right track - stay motivated and hungry! You can definitely make money online, traffic is obviously the key. Learn to create the traffic and the money will come. It sounds like you are willing to work for it - consistency and dedication is what it takes. Don't listen to anyone that tells you you can make piles of cash by simply buying their automated software - ITS A LIE!
  18. I know this sounds a bit cliche but knowing you have a "problem" is half the battle. Maybe commit to trying one solution, taking note how your respond, and then using it more often if it works. If not, move on to another solution and try to make that one work. I know its a little vague but thats how it is for almost anything - you have to give it time to work...
  19. when you go to "my computer" there should be a section that says something like "removable storage" and under that it will have your acer external hard drive showing with all your content there...
