the reasons people say why they aren't hackers are somewhat amusing. I know someone's dad who is a white hacker & does it for a living to--he says his job is to get into competing companies computers--so I thought that was pretty cool

I didn't vote, but Kerry won my state by a mile so it wouldn't have mattered anyhow. I think analysts were saying that Bush was ahead all along so it wasn't that much of a surprise..

Been looking around, but can't find one I like. The free ones from tag-board.com have annoying popups, and the other free ones I've found look really ugly. I like the ones they have on blogs from blogdrive.com, but can't use standalone..Any suggestions?

Sounds like a horror show to me. I don't think I'll be able to take it, will probably have nightmares or something afterwards, but there's nothing like that in the U.S. so I guess there's no chance anyway.

Not necessarily looks, but actors I love--Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Leonardo Dicaprio, good actors and I like their movies. Brat Pitt to some extent, but one of my science teachers (late-30s) used to be in love with this guy, she'll talk about him so much and we used to tease her about it so I think it's funny.

kirra, this sounds like a really serious problem. try to find someone who can listen to you personally and know where you're coming from... I find that that helps me the most when I feel troubled. If you can't think of anyone you know, think of exclusively online buddies? I find that helps me, there's people I've met online with whom I had spoken more about myself than friends I've known for years, anonymity is one of the pluses.

I'm already over 18, but still have stage fright. Although it's improved a lot compared to when I was younger, I still get really nervous when I have to talk in front of people. And it's not mental--when I was young, it might have been, but now I feel okay about doing it, but what my body does is like out of my control. Right when I step up, my hearts mysteriously starts beating profusely harder, my knees feel wobbly and my voice becomes tense; sometimes I stutter over words, become lost for words so I start saying "ums" a lot, all I can do it stare at one place, and what not. I think it's probably very obvious I'm really nervous. It's a pretty bad problem considering I'm a business major... and I often feel like I'm the only one like this. Sigh.Share your experience, advice if you can...

Ok, I have a picture of a flushing toilet and I want to manipulate the color of the water so that it's yellowish (like urine). I only want to change the water, keep everything else the same; would that be possible and how do I get it done? I've played with the software, but basically know very little about PS functions.Thanks in advance for any help.

It's cute, but I think a lighter background would be better for contrast. Also thought it was weird that the dialogue bubble with welcome is coming from the right side when there's nothing there... maybe you can flip that around so that it's coming from the left.

These were popular for a while, and then kind of died down. LOL, my friends use to send these links thru im (usually at night), and it is pretty creepy, especially when you get no warning. For a while, I was suspicious whenever they gave a link and said check this out.

I don't even have a choice. None of the cable companies serve my area & very few dsl companies do. Everything's kind of under monopoly of SBC (under Yahoo now), but price is pretty good so overall pretty satisfied. However, I never get up to max speed and occasional disconnections now and then.

The scrolling buttons are an eyesore for me. Make them static, or move some place else. Plus, it drives all the attention down there, because it's the only place with some color. Text is hard to read b/c it's so close to color as background. However, I do like the layout, very clean-cut.

Nice job... only little thing would be the black background to the Xisto footer looking like it's out of borders, dunno if that was intentional or not.I would probably prefer text on update box to be align right, kinda hard to flow through, because beginning of line is in different position on each line.

When I get less than 4 hrs of sleep, I'm a walking zombie, and can fall asleep anywhere if I sit down, and recently averaging 5-7 hrs per day, then I sleep like 12 hrs on weekends--pretty screwed up schedule. How are your sleeping habits?Read some article a while ago about how it kills your brain, too... wonder if it's true.

I got interested in her books after watching Interview with the Vampire... but I'm not all that into horror. I think it was just Brad Pitt & Tom Cruise
