  1. Yahoo's 100M is more than good enough for me, but just out of curosity due to the comments about domain names, I went to see what they offered...MyQuickMail.comMyQuickMail.ussgies.comNoTech.usMyHTTPmail.comPc4me.usTechieTechnology.com <--
  2. Definitely to the internet. LOL, it's like I can't live a day without it...read e-mails, check forums, download stuff, read news, check weather to see what to wear, chat with friends...hmm, play around new stuff for own website, etc. There's always something I feel like I NEED to do.
  3. Looks nice, you can probably split it into 3 parts, animate them & it would probably be "usable" as a more standard button since top & bottom are blank space anyway.
  4. I think the first one is slightly better as well... and this is off topic, but I really like your button Goosestaf, subdued but gets the point across
  5. hmm... it just seems too slow for an ad, like the amount of time it takes the entire msg to be written out. And I think the background is kinda boring, but that's just me
  6. really? I signed up for one & tried using it for a while, but got pop-ups which I didn't like so I just used subdomain.
  7. That's pretty cool, but I'm still more shocked when I see little kids that are really good at it & can do all the hard songs. Mad skills!
  8. Nice, neat navigational menu, I like how it's horizontal. The colors fit well, except kind of plain & lacking graphics, and the font looks too "default" Times New Roman 12...
  9. Just a small thing, but it would probably look better if you had fitted the text within the headers (second column). They're kind of sticking out. The color division is a bit abrupt, doesn't seem to go together.
  10. Oh wow, it looks so cool. I can just imagine it... people holding these while riding the subway or something, lol. It would be too much of a temptation for me...like TV all the time.
  11. I did see this when I was looking for mods, but the only thing is the limited amount of skins for the pre-modified boards. I guess I'm too vain, 'cause there's particular skins I want to have, which would only be wouldn't fit something that's not dramatically altered
  12. I started off with JetCar/Flashget, but it doesn't support for streaming links... mms/rtsp while NetTransport does... & they almost have the same interface like I said before.
  13. I have checked its website. Its features looks good. But it is not free so I can't use it. Technically it's "shareware" but you can use it for free. Here, I'll link everybody 'cause I would definitely say this is the easiest to use & best one yet. http://www.xi-soft.com/default.htm (overview) http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (download)
  14. That was... short! I was expecting more. That background on it for real?I'm lucky no. 1:Introspective Sensitive ReflectiveYou come to grips more frequently and thoroughly with yourself and your environment than do most people. You detest superficiality; you'd rather be alone than have to suffer through small talk. But your relationships with your friends are highly intensive, which gives you the inner tranquility and harmony that you need in order to feel good. However it is no problem for you to be alone for extended periods of time, without becoming bored.
  15. I have been using NetTransport for about 3 years already. The main reason I like it over others is the ability to handle mms links. Interface is similiar to FlashGet.
  16. I want to add some mods, but don't know not sure what to add. Can some of the more experienced users share with me what mods you've added to your forum that'll be generally useful? For one, I like the birthday one, i.e. it adds a birthday section to members' profiles and shows it on the bottom of the index page when that date comes by Niels Chr. Denmark. Your recommendations?
  17. I saw one of their interviews on mtv... one of the guys said that he hasn't read the bible, but the album has biblical references, etc. I'm just like huh? These 2 statements just doesn't go together...
  18. Don't mean to advertise or anything, but I was browsing free-webhosts, and see a new company: iFobos -- the thing that caught my eye was the space they're giving out! It's pay by posts... any feedback on this?
  19. That's genius! I didn't realize this before, but blogs are a good way to go 'cause they're so popular now & come up really high in search engines for some reason--I was actually frustrated about this, 'cause I was looking for info for a school paper and so many of the links that came up were blogs!
  20. Have you guys ever heard of your parents' love story or how they got together? I find it pretty funny & amusing whenever my mom tells me them (my dad has never)...One of these was among their beginning stages of dating, how she & my dad went to this fancy restaurant & ordered steak w/o telling how they wanted it cooked so it came the "standard" way and my mom can only eat well cooked meat, so she was horrified, saying blood was dripping off the thing.
  21. I haven't had a really bad date yet, except one where there was no conversation... dead silence, and if a topic was brought up, everything was like answered in the least amount of words possible... and one time, the guy lied about something so he didn't have to take me home, what a guy, aye.
  22. lol, I dunno anything about macs. well, I guess to them size & space is more important so they try to compact everything. you gotta admit their design looks pretty cool. when I was shopping around for laptops, I was attracted to the macs 'cause of size..but think after weight everything else, pc is definitely the way to go.
  23. just curious why? That's how I learned about Xisto as well... since I've been a member, everything's going good so far, only occasional hickups with the updates I don't mind, usually comes back up very quickly. so 100webpaces and frandt went down! no wonder, 'cause prior to signing up to Xisto, I was had used them (for less than 2 weeks) & always had problems! now let's just hope long live Xisto!!
  24. Nice, easy to look at & useful for a personal homepage. Now I'm wondering why I never thought of it! Ha, I need to make something like this, would make life so much easier!
  25. thanks lib, that was what I was looking for. php new to me & I keep thinking it as the same as regular webpages. thanks mobile for trying to help
