Now,i wanna introduce a Sourceforge project, Clam Win free Anti-virus. if you use linux then i think you won't strange with Clamav enginee http://www.clamav.net/ and for win the project is: http://www.clamwin.com/ http://www.clamwin.com/ from sourceforge is: softmap->secruity->1st one. and i 'm admining about 8 computer rooms,about 600 computers.and there is no licensed anti-virus for them.so i went to sourceforge searching for some secruity and i find the ClamWin Free Anti-virus. this afternoon i just tried that on 3 computers,gave some details about that: 1.the latest version of clamwin is 0.87.1,just download from sourceforge or official iste http://www.clamwin.com/content/view/18/46/ 2.installing is simple.one step let you choose downloading the latest virus code from the official site,this step will take a long time.(before the installing close your firewall and windows xp firewall.)when it's downloading over,click the next step to completed the installing. (maybe you found that is taking too long time to download,just cancel and reinstall the setup,when options uncheck the "downloading the source code".just download it later. the screen is like that: 3.click the start->all programme->ClamWInAV,to run it. you will find the icon on the system task.and there is a screen of it's main interface 3 icons on it.first is perefrence,the middle one is update,right one is scan for virus.you can selecte the drivers below. 4.effect,i think it took too long time to run the all disk scan,i just wasting 4 hours for a computer's disk scan.and it's the most bad side of it. and the interface is simple to use,i watched the resources using.cpu just used 90% and memory used 300MB ( my is 512 ddr 400 ) it's an options for us do not have money purchase the license of business antivirus likc mcafee or karbarsky. just tried it..( it really took too much time for scanning if you had using other mainly business anti-virus programme. ) guangdian

i think you need deleted it on the controlpanel -> add or deleted the project;and uninstall it useing the uninstall on the project.syou maybe reinstall it again then uninstall it.and msconfig->don't let the programme of virtual cd runs with windows.sometimes the programme not contributed good,so that borring us so lot if we uninstall it.

No..i think now technologies have solved the ghosting effects or shadows.and the lcd 's price is not so expensive..one good lcd's price just as the same as a good 19'inch CRT..i mean the good Lcd,if you wanna play the fps or 3d game just buy the lag time is "2mms" or " 8mms" but not "12mms"

the computer is : abit sg-80 socket 755 pentium4 2.66 ghz seagate ata 80G geforce4 mx 4000 128M graphic card. single 512 memory ddr 400 -- and when we install the win98se,on the step of options to choose" small install, model install," then click next step there comes a dos error: standard-mode fault , ms-dos extenderE4857 F458 something like this i just asked so lots of men can not help.and tried all installing ways from harddisk and cd-rom and change the 98 version.

why the quence is that: when i install a hardware i just shut down the computer first then insert the hardware then start the computer again,then install the drivers of this hardware. as you said . it's wireless net card. and while the computer is running,you install the drivers first ? but not insert the card first...then how the driver been installed, when the installing of drivers,it installing for what hardware,i think the computer can not recognize it,if it's not there. plz.

on the award advanced bios setupthere is the bot frist by hdd0,then second by something,thrid by cd-rom.on the mainboard there are ide1,and ide2,i wanna know if the hdd0 stands the IDE1?and hdd1 stands the IDE2??thanks

terminated the explorer.exe??? it's interesting.but i think you can use a cd rom to startup the computer then on the dos ,you would deleted it.

as you said,i'm ever do the samething,--to restore a forum.details about this restoring:1.i'm using ipb1.3 forum project2.i download a backup files from phpmyadmin (guangdian_ipb mysql data)3.i reinstalled the ipb1.3 final with a different mysql name guangdian_ipb1,then deleted all tables of this mysql,upload the backup .sql file to the database,4.the forum got error,failed.5.i changed to resintalled the ipb again with the same username as before(guangdian_ipb)then deleted tables,runs the bak .sql file to it,6.It works!and the same forum data as before,(bak file's)7.i just use this two ways to try if i can needn't reinstall but upload the ftp files,then use the same or unsame database,then deleted and runs the bak .sql 8.failed.guangdian

my good way to avoid them is Format all my disk then install the new system,just use firefox to browser but not IE,ie always got the problem of plugins and spyware and spyware's site.so i had used the firefox for a long time it didn't got the same problem you talked.guangdian

and hi, i just used the ipb1.3final.yeah.my skin is caliskinV6,got that from here,since the cali3D won't realease the new skin for IPB1.3 i just wanna to know if this is impossible,--modified the skin to xhtml 1.0 or 1.1 standards. and you know the default skin of ipb is a comptnet,and the Adding skin like CaliskinV6 is another comptnent,they are the different system,so i think there would be the way to make the templates to xhtml stict. thank you,guangdian.

Photoshop 7 is my best favorite,\the new version always got some hard control and keys. and i think a good designer had to learn the more fashion things fastly so that he can got a farway step than the uers using old version or old paint ways. and by the way,i just think that some small business software got more easily way to do things than Photoshop,i just erase the txt of the img only left backgroud use PhotoX.i just don't know how to do it in Photoshop.

the site contained too many images.you need change them to txt links i think.the place you must add imge to add it.but the place needn't that,for navigation Eg.it's my own opinion.the image not only grow the load time but also gave the person fuzzy feeling but not sharp feeling.guangdian

i think opera have changed it's opera to free,and they woudn't add the ads on to their browser again.and i think IE is the best browser but you know Opera is fast but it need do more to complete the java support.and the webstyle is not the same on iE and opera.mozilla is another choice,but it's the last change.

locating where the banner is,opened your cpanel -- file manager.click the file which banner in.on the right small panel click edit it.--just edited it like that,so you needn't chmod something.guangdian
